Yue was delighted and asked,

"What about the second one?"

"If I can return then I can absorb that soul fragment and become more powerful. Also, I will able to know how my girl lived for the past 3 years."

Yue nodded but suddenly he chuckled and said,

Qiao Jun glared at him and said,

Then he changed the topic and said,

"And if I am unfortunate enough not able to live then that soul fragment could take my place and live with her."

There was a bit of sadness in his tone.

Yue suddenly asked,

"Then why don’t you make such more soul fragmentation and ..."

But before he could complete his words Qiao Jun shook his head and said,

In a voice filled with panic, Luo Murong called out for help.

"Someone, quickly! Fetch the medical team!" Luo Murong called out urgently, his voice reverberating through the secluded room where he had been in deep meditation moments before.

The sudden turn of events had caught him off guard.

He carefully tried to stabilize the collapsed agent, checking for vital signs and any visible injuries.

However, the young man seemed to be unconscious, showing no immediate signs of distress.

Luo Murong’s mind raced, trying to comprehend what could have possibly gone wrong during the agent’s brief expedition into the future dimension.

He wondered if something within that temporal rift had caused this unexpected collapse.

Soon the medical team arrived and started checking the young man.

After 2 hours the young man finally regained consciousness.

Luo Murong heaved a sigh of relief and asked the agent,

"What has happened in that dimension?"

The agent said with difficulty,

That was what the agent was able to say before fainting again.

Luo Muronh frowned at his warning.

Rong Xue looked as if he had just come out of a daze and said,

"I am sorry, I was just worried since Jun had asked me to look after everyone in the Qiao Mansion after his departure. And in just one week after his departure, Miss Yu became ill so I..."

Qiao Li stared at Rong Xue to find out whether he was lying or telling the truth but finally nodded when she felt he was sincere.

Rong Xue then sat beside Yu Holea and checked her pulse.

The moment Rong Xue touched Yu Holea, a dreadful feeling arose in Yu Holea’s heart.

Her heartbeat fastened with fear.

And Yu Holea couldn’t help but become confused with her own emotions.

Why was she feeling fearful?

Rong Xue too sensed Yu Holea’s fastened heartbeat and a glint flashed past in his eyes.

He stared at Yu Holea’s face to find something with a hopeful look in his eyes but when he saw her emotionless face, a disappointed expression appeared on his face.

After checking her pulse Rong Xue asked,

"Did you have a nightmare?"

Yu Holea couldn’t even believe her own guess.

Indeed she was good at exorcism and thankfully she had even started to gain different superpowers after crossing every major cultivation rank, but she never thought that she could have precognitive dreams.

Laying on the bed she soon fell asleep, she was so tired that she didn’t notice a message that appeared on her phone.

But someone did.

Rong Xue who was instructing Qiao Li about the medicine saw her phone getting lit up and saw the messages that made his heart skip a beat.

However as smart as he was, he didn’t let it show on his face and calmly said to Qiao Li,

"Li can you bring me a glass of orange juice?"

Qiao Li saw Rong Xue’s tired expression and nodded.

After she left Rong Xue looked at Qiao Zirui who was looking at Yu Holea worriedly.

He smiled and said,

"Are you worried about her?"

Qiao Zirui nodded his head.

"Why don’t you pray to god to help heal her fast?"

"Will that work?"

Qiao Zirui asked doubtfully, he didn’t have much fate in god before Yu Holea’s arrival but after Yu Holea helped by stopping those devilish whispers that kept on haunting him with talismans and magical power, he started believing in god.

Hence even though Qiao Zirui was very smart he didn’t sense that Rong Xue was behaving strangely.

Rong Xue nodded with a serious face and Qiao Zirui quickly clasped his hands.

Just when he was about to start praying Rong Xue reminded him,

"Close your eyes too to show your sincerity."

Qiao Zirui trusted the brother he had known for the past 10 years and without any question closed his eyes.

He sincerely prayed to god while ROng Xue quietly took hold of Yu Holea’s phone.

Rong Xue smiled when he saw that there was a lock on the phone.

He easily read the message sent by Qiao Jun, and a stern look appeared in his eyes.

"Jun hadn’t you given up on her? Why are you confessing now? Do you know how difficult it was for me to fool her, by making her feel as if you really have rejected her when you didn’t even know about the confession?"

A smirk appeared on his face as he said,

"But don’t worry, I will never let her ever know. Buddy, you lost her the moment you gave me the right to pursue her that day.

So don’t blame me for being ruthless."

Then without any hesitation, he messaged him back,

"I don’t like you, please don’t say all of these things again I feel uncomfortable. Also please stop messaging me."

Once the message was sent Rong Xue deleted the message from Yu Holea’s phone.
