The energy from the Treasure Jade must have been absorbed by the toad. No wonder it gave it to me so generously; that was what was going on.

Chu Hao directly exchanged the Treasure Jade.

Chu Hao said, "System, that Transformation Talisman from last time—give me one."

System: "It is recommended that the Host purchase a Disguise Talisman, requiring two thousand Pretentiousness Points."

"Purchase."

DING… Host has purchased Disguise Talisman, consuming two thousand Pretentiousness Points.

Item: Disguise Talisman

Rarity: ★

Ability: Can transform a living being into whatever it wants to become, lasting for one hour.

Chu Hao took out the talisman and asked, "Are you ready?"

"No dilly-dallying, hurry up! I can hardly wait," the toad said with an excited look.

Chu Hao applied the talisman paper to the toad's forehead and recited a string of incantations. He then saw the toad's original body turn into an exact copy of Chu Hao.

The toad wore a look of incredulity. He seemed a bit unaccustomed to the change; he was still squatting on the ground, maintaining his original toad pose. "How many more of these talismans do you have?" he asked in astonishment. "I'll buy them all."

Chu Hao, looking at his spitting image, was very pleased and asked, "What do you plan to pay with?"

The toad said earnestly, "I've just come into this world and didn't bring anything with me. Can I owe you for now?"

Chu Hao pursed his lips and replied, "No, these talismans are very precious."

The toad, disappointed, said, "Fine. When I get my hands on something good, I'll trade you for it."

Having said that, he couldn't wait to leave the room and headed to Mu Yue's room.

"Who is it?" Mu Yue's voice came through the door.

The toad, excited, cleared his throat and said, "It's me, Chu Hao."

Mu Yue opened the door, dressed in the sexy lingerie she had bought that day. Her charm made him stare, almost drooling.

Mu Yue welcomed him with a smile. "Please come in."

He walked in.

Chu Hao was in the next room, using his keen hearing to listen to their conversation.

The toad let out a strange cry and pounced forward. "I can't wait any longer!" he exclaimed.

Mu Yue was very accommodating, and the two of them rolled into bed.

Chu Hao stroked his chin. I feel like I forgot to mention something, he mused.

The toad was thrilled. The moment he entered Mu Yue's body, the long-awaited feeling made him want to cry.

"Kiddo Chu, from now on, I'll consider you my brother. You're a true bro," he said.

Mu Yue was enjoying herself, even finding 'Chu Hao's' skills impressive. After about forty minutes, her cheeks were rosy. She hugged 'Chu Hao' and noticed some black threads appearing on her own face. I've had my fun, she thought. This little man is quite something. Now it's your turn. Don't suck him dry.

"Don't worry."

Mu Yue's face twisted hideously, extra pairs of eyes appearing on her brow. At a glance, she resembled a spider. She turned her back to 'Chu Hao' and started to absorb his Yang Qi.

The toad didn't care; he was indulging in the sensation.

However, the spider's voice cried out, "Something's not right!"

What's not right? Mu Yue thought to herself.

The spider cried out in horror, "He—he's absorbing my Monster Qi! Help me! Somebody help me!"

The toad, still on top of Mu Yue and oblivious to this, became even more vigorous.

Mu Yue, shocked and scared, tried to push him away, only to find her body limp and unable to muster any strength.

"What's going on?"

Mu Yue wanted to cry. She couldn't understand it. She had drained people's Yang Qi countless times; how could it fail with Chu Hao? Not only that, but he had even sucked out her spider's Monster Qi!

The Spider Monster screamed; its cultivation was being absorbed by him, something that had never happened before.

He let out a loud cry as he climaxed.

Suddenly, 'Chu Hao's' body transformed, turning into a Warty Toad.

However, this toad was now clinging to Mu Yue's thigh, its two toad legs twitching. When it came to its senses, the toad was utterly bewildered.

"RIBBIT! I can't believe there's a time limit," the toad croaked, extremely vexed.

Mu Yue, however, was completely dumbstruck, as if hit by a bolt from the blue. Had Chu Hao actually turned into a Warty Toad?

What completely shattered her was the realization: she had fully engaged with a toad, and had even allowed a little Toad Spirit to enter her body?

"Ah!" Mu Yue let out a wail like a pig being slaughtered.

Seeing that things were going south, the toad turned and sprinted away with impressive speed.

Before leaving, it even commented, "Too loose. No telling how many have plowed this field before."

Mu Yue was completely flabbergasted, letting out a deranged roar. She had completely lost her mind.

A black spider lay limp and sprawled out. "My cultivation," it cried out in terror. "Half of it has been sucked away!"

「The next day.」

Chu Hao was woken up by the croaking of a toad.

The toad stared at Chu Hao with bloodshot eyes, looking like it could devour him whole. "Kiddo," it said, "how many of those Transformation Talismans do you have? This Sovereign wants them all."

This toad, after the joy of the previous night, had completely fallen for them.

Chu Hao rubbed his eyes and asked, "Is it over?"

The toad felt like spitting blood. "Nonsense! You didn't tell me there was a time limit on it. That woman realized I wasn't you."

Chu Hao was stunned. He could imagine the expression Mu Yue must have had last night. He laughed so hard his stomach hurt and said, "I would have mentioned it, but you were in too much of a hurry."

The toad said seriously, "Just name your price! I'll agree to anything you want. I just need more Transformation Talismans."

Chu Hao asked, "What do you have to offer me?"

The toad muttered, "Nothing at the moment."

Chu Hao waved his hand dismissively. "We'll talk when you have something."

The toad jumped up, adamant. "I don't care! Give me another Transformation Talisman now!"

Chu Hao looked at it disdainfully. "Bring something to trade before we talk."

Leaving the room, Chu Hao glanced toward Mu Yue's room, curious to see her expression. Just the thought of it made him want to laugh; she had actually been done in by a toad.

After checking out of the inn downstairs and compensating for the damage from his battle with the toad from the previous night, Chu Hao saw the others coming down as well.

Mu Yue's face was gloomy. When Taoist Yang Cheng asked her what was wrong, the murderous look in her eyes made him retract his question, too afraid to speak another word.

Su Huansheng and Zhang Chengshan were also perplexed. Mu Yue exuded a sharp killing intent that could be felt by anyone walking beside her. What on earth had happened to her last night?

Seeing Chu Hao, Mu Yue walked over excitedly and asked, "Chu Hao, what's the deal with that toad?"

Chu Hao struggled to suppress a smile, feigning surprise. "A toad? Did that toad come to you last night?"

Su Huansheng also approached, asking, "What's going on?"

Chu Hao looked at Su Huansheng and said earnestly, "That toad has been following us. Last night, it came to my room, and we had a fierce battle. Many things in the hotel room were smashed to pieces."

It was true. The hotel manager had even come to arrange compensation. Chu Hao paid the hotel thirty thousand yuan for the damages.

Su Huansheng's expression darkened. "What does it want by following us?"

Chu Hao gritted his teeth and said, "That damned toad! I don't know how it's been following us, but if I find it, I'll break its fifth leg."

The toad, listening from Chu Hao's pocket, was extremely displeased upon hearing this.
