Ghost Catching System-Chapter 632 - 631 Another Encounter with the Toad_1
Mao Mountain was a legitimate Taoist sect known for ghost hunting. Since Yang Cheng could participate in eliminating the Ghost King, his strength must be quite formidable.
There were two other individuals. One was a woman of thirty-five or thirty-six, dressed casually, who still retained a charming figure. The woman said, "We've always been curious about who Elder Su would bring. It turns out to be Young Friend Chu."
Su Huansheng introduced, "This is Mu Yue, a senior Talisman Master. Her expertise in Talisman Techniques will be of great help to us in dealing with the Ghost King."
As a powerful Talisman Master skilled in capturing ghosts and subduing demons, Mu Yue was not like those from the He Family; otherwise, she would not have been here.
The other individual was a middle-aged man with graying hair. He wore a Taoist robe and emanated an air of integrity, giving Chu Hao a cold glance.
Su Huansheng said, "This is Daoist Zhang Chengshan from Longhu Mountain."
Zhang Chengshan did not hold Chu Hao in high regard. After all, Longhu Mountain had recently become the butt of many jokes in the Yin and Yang Realm, largely due to Chu Hao's involvement. Thus, Zhang Chengshan was very displeased to see Chu Hao.
Zhang Chengshan said, "Fellow Daoist Su, it might not be a good idea for Young Friend Chu to accompany us. He is a prime target for the Black Water Ghost King."
Zhang Chengshan was very senior. While most people addressed Su Huansheng as 'Elder,' he alone called him 'Fellow Daoist.'
Chu Hao remained silent, merely looking at Zhang Chengshan indifferently. He wouldn't purposefully show off now because such posturing was utterly useless. To truly grasp the essence of the 'Little Prince' of posturing, one must take it slow.
Su Huansheng said, "Fellow Daoist Zhang, you and I both know Young Friend Chu's strength. With him present, our chances of annihilating the Ghost King are much greater."
Is that really the case? What exactly is Su Huansheng thinking? This man is deeply calculating; I need to be careful. Chu Hao pondered.
Zhang Chengshan merely nodded slightly and, with a sneer, turned and boarded the plane.
Chu Hao muttered discontentedly, "Putting on airs, acting like some big shot."
However, Zhang Chengshan overheard him and turned around, glaring angrily at Chu Hao.
True to his nature, Chu Hao retorted, "What are you looking at? I said it, so what? If you don't like it, let's fight."
Zhang Chengshan suppressed his anger and snorted coldly, "Kid! The world is a treacherous place. Be careful, or you won't even know how you died."
Chu Hao replied indifferently, "Sorry, but I plan on living for another hundred years. If anyone's dying first, it'll be you."
Lines of frustration appeared on Zhang Chengshan's forehead. He didn't bother wasting any more words on Chu Hao and boarded the plane directly.
Meanwhile, Yang Cheng and Mu Yue looked at Chu Hao in surprise. Zhang Chengshan was of a similar seniority to Su Huansheng, and they both respectfully addressed him as 'Elder.' Yet Chu Hao showed no fear. It seemed the rumors were true—he was indeed like a young calf unafraid of a tiger.
The plane tickets had already been arranged. After boarding, the middle-aged woman, Mu Yue, sat next to Chu Hao. Noticing the white cloth-wrapped Greenwood Flame Fan on Chu Hao's back, she asked with a smile, "Young Friend Chu, what's that you're carrying?"
Chu Hao looked at her. The middle-aged woman's eyes were as clear and penetrating as black crystals. Her skin was well-maintained. Though her features weren't stunning, her figure was impressive, with generous curves exactly where they should be. There's a saying: 'A mature woman has the most allure.'
Chu Hao said, "A Magic Artifact."
Mu Yue didn't inquire further, as everyone had their secrets. However, she was quite curious. Chu Hao was so young and already had a significant reputation in the Yin and Yang Realm, far surpassing his peers.
As the plane took off, Mu Yue put on her headphones, apparently listening to music.
After a while, Mu Yue took off her headphones and said to a flight attendant, "A coffee, please."
The flight attendant brought a cup of coffee, saying, "Your coffee, ma'am."
Mu Yue reached out to take it, but the plane suddenly jolted. The hot coffee spilled out, drenching the front of her chest.
Mu Yue yelped, swatting at the coffee on her chest; it was scalding hot.
The flight attendant hastily apologized, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!"
Mu Yue frowned. Her chest felt uncomfortably damp and sticky. She was wearing a white casual outfit, and the spilled coffee made the outline of her bra faintly visible.
Mu Yue waved her hand dismissively. "It's fine," she said.
The flight attendant brought Mu Yue a towel.
Mu Yue stood up and left her seat, heading to the restroom.
Chu Hao stroked his chin and muttered to himself, "Black. It must be black lace."
Just then, in a corner of the airplane, Chu Hao saw something flash by very quickly. He didn't get a clear look.
He looked down but saw nothing. That's strange. Could I have been mistaken? he wondered.
However, just as Chu Hao looked away, he suddenly spotted a small creature hopping along the cabin floor!
Chu Hao rubbed his eyes and couldn't help but curse, "WHAT THE HELL?!"
It was a toad—no, it was *that* rogue toad! It's actually on the plane? You've got to be kidding me!
The toad also realized Chu Hao had seen it. Its expression was remarkably animated as it grinned.
The toad hopped in front of Chu Hao and croaked, "Kid, what are you gawking at?"
Lines of disbelief appeared on Chu Hao's forehead. "Warty Toad, what are you doing here?"
The toad leaped onto the overhead luggage compartment and declared, "This Sovereign is a Dragon, not a toad! Why can't This Sovereign be here?"
Chu Hao took out the Demon-catching Mirror, looking at the toad with an amused grin.
The toad said with displeasure, "Kid, you better behave! Otherwise, This Sovereign will breathe fire, and you'll all be goners—unless you can fly."
HOLY HELL! He's right! We're tens of thousands of meters up in the air! Chu Hao thought.
Chu Hao put away the Demon-catching Mirror and said, exasperated, "What are you even doing here?"
The toad replied, "This Sovereign heard that kid in white talking about the Ghost Sutras, and This Sovereign is very interested."
Chu Hao asked, "You're just a toad. What would you want with the Ghost Sutras? You're not even a Ghost."
The toad retorted angrily, "You're the toad! Your whole family are toads! Believe it or not, if you say that again, This Sovereign will burn this whole place down with one breath!"
Chu Hao broke into a cold sweat. "Don't be rash! If you fall from here, you'll definitely die!"
The toad said smugly, "That's not necessarily true, kid. This Sovereign wants to discuss something with you. Help This Sovereign get the Ghost Sutras, and This Sovereign will give you a great reward."
Chu Hao asked curiously, "What kind of reward?"
The toad opened its mouth, and out popped a piece of Treasure Jade. Isn't that the same Treasure Jade it swallowed before? Chu Hao thought.
The toad asked, "Tempted?"
Chu Hao frowned. "It's covered in your saliva. That's disgusting."
The toad bristled with anger and shouted, "You ungrateful brat! Believe it or not, This Sovereign will burn this tin can down with one breath!"
Chu Hao said helplessly, "Alright, alright, let's talk calmly. No need to be so impulsive."
The toad said smugly, "How about this: you help This Sovereign get the Ghost Sutras, and this Treasure Jade is yours. Plus, This Sovereign will throw in something extra."
"What is it?" Chu Hao asked.
The toad fell silent and shrank back into the luggage compartment. Mu Yue was returning.
After Mu Yue sat down, Chu Hao looked at her and was visibly taken aback. Her chest seemed noticeably smaller. The bra she had been wearing was gone; she must have taken it off. Evidently, the sticky coffee had been too uncomfortable.
"RIBBIT! Such big breasts!" the toad seemed to croak with delight from its hiding spot.
