Chapter 35: Robbing and Buying Blessed Stones! {2}

"What?! The shipment isn’t coming today?!"

The shrill voice echoed through the ornate halls of the mansion. The speaker, a skinny, balding man with bloodshot brown eyes and dark circles under them, stood trembling in rage near a velvet-draped window. Gold rings glittered on his fingers, but his composure was anything but noble.

A uniformed guard knelt before him, drenched in sweat. "I-I’m sorry, sir! I was just told there was a delay! I don’t know why the delivery was postponed!"

The noble’s face twisted in fury. With a sudden stomp, he brought his heel down on the guard’s hand, causing the man to cry out in pain.

"You imbecile! Do you think I care about your excuses?! The Union is demanding more Blessed Stones—do you know what will happen if we fail them?!"

He paced like a cornered beast, gesturing wildly. "And the goddamn drugs! We need those to push the mutations further! We can’t refine anything without them!"

With another stomp—this time to the guard’s shoulder—the noble shouted, "Useless rats, the lot of you!"

Rooftop of the Mansion – Reo’s Group

From a nearby rooftop cloaked in moonlight, Reo watched the mansion’s chaos through a monocle lens. Every shout, every movement was logged into his mind. He turned to Andrea, who stood nearby, swaying on her heels with childlike curiosity.

"Alright, Andrea. Hypnotize every guard you can reach from here," Reo ordered, voice calm but sharp.

Andrea blinked, then Nodded "Okay~ But... just a warning—it might affect you two a little bit."

As she extended her hand, a wave of golden mist flowed out—beautiful at first, but quickly twisting into something sickly sweet and disorienting. The air grew thick, almost nauseating. It wasn’t seductive—it was surreal, disorienting, like falling into a dream you couldn’t wake up from.

"Due too my Power mostly Sealed it’s hard too control it," Andrea added sheepishly. "Sorry if you feel Dizzy."

Althea, sensing the strange pulse of power, immediately conjured a dome of ice around herself, her expression unreadable.

Reo exhaled deeply, suppressing the dizzying sensation with effort. His sharp eyes scanned the mansion grounds through the haze.

One by one, guards around the estate collapsed or stumbled into unconsciousness. Those at E- rank or below fell instantly all of the F-ranks slumped to the ground, dazed.

Reo’s eyes gleamed with approval. "Effective. That’s what I needed."

---

Inside the Mansion – Swift Infiltration

With Andrea’s influence clearing the outer grounds, the path was open.

Reo summoned one of his clones, now half more powerful as himself, and sent it leaping through a second-story window. Meanwhile, he and Althea slipped through the rear courtyard, blades and frost at the ready.

The inside of the mansion was lavish—crystal chandeliers, velvet furniture, portraits of corrupt aristocrats, and glass cases of illegally imported artifacts. But beneath the luxury was rot. Blood-stained contracts, chains, and ledgers filled with names and prices confirmed what Reo suspected.

Human trafficking. Slave trade. Illegal blessings. And worse.

"This guy deserves worse than death," Althea said coldly, her steps leaving behind trails of frost as she moved.

Reo nodded in agreement, his voice low. "True preserve his head and put all the bodies outside."

The Three moved fast. Anyone involved in it enforcers, black-robed handlers—was dealt with swiftly. Bodies fell in silence. Reo’s clone covered the west wing while the original and Althea moved toward the study and vault chamber.

Andrea, sitting on a bench in the garden, quietly guided the innocent—maids, children, and servants—away from the house, leading them toward a safe locations.

She hummed a soft tune, golden light gently coating those she touched, easing their confusion and fear.

---

The Vault

In the mansion’s basement, Reo’s clone located the vault door behind a hidden panel in the study. Using the administrator’s ring stolen earlier and a decrypted code sent from the mansion’s terminal, the lock clicked.

The clone opened the vault slowly.

Inside was a fortunately, all just Money countless Cash and Diamonds but it was Enough atleast.

With enough money we could buy enough Blessed stones they were expensive really expensive but also increadible worth it.

---

The mansion was almost cleared when a group of armed guards burst into the main foyer—those who had somehow resisted Andrea’s influence.

But Reo and Althea were waiting.

Ice formed across the ceiling and then dropped like jagged spears as Althea swept her hand. Reo’s blade met flesh and steel alike, a blur of motion slicing through armor.

"No witnesses," he muttered.

When the last attacker fell, Althea exhaled frost from her palm and blew the chandelier into a thousand frozen shards.

Back on the rooftop, Andrea gave Reo a small wave as he regrouped with her.

"All done?" she asked cheerfully.

"For now," Reo replied, his tone cool. "Vault’s clean. Innocents escorted. Let’s get out of here before the Union starts sniffing around."

Andrea nodded.

Before leaving, Reo decided to make a bold statement. Not just to strike fear but to ensure that the message of Provoking the Union

At the center of the mansion’s courtyard, Reo carefully arranged the remnants of the corrupt lord’s reign. With help from his clone.

stacked broken banners bearing the Union insignia and painted over them with a green symbol shaped like a twisted star—a horned mask drawn with a sharp brush of glowing

paint. At its center, a metallic replica of the green demonic mask was mounted above. It wasn’t grotesque, but it sent a chilling, clear message.

But he wasn’t done and put all of the Corpse in it especially the Owner and the one behind all of the crimes.

Trails of Blood and bodies was also in it.

Reo looked at it as if it was his own Masterpiece.

"This should Look good amd satisfying in the Normal people who could not do anything," Reo muttered, stepping back and taking one last look at the display.

The masked face stared down at the scene, glowing faintly under the moonlight. It wasn’t meant to scare the innocent, but to speak to the shadows watching from the sidelines. The man who had once lived here had committed crimes too numerous to count illegal experiments, trafficking

and yet the people had turned a blind eye, powerless against the influence of the Union.

---

In the hours that followed, Reo didn’t rest. He and his clones successfully infiltrated and dismantled two more mansions. The pattern remained the same identify the guilty, spare the innocent, gather intel, and take valuables. It was swift, efficient.

Of course Reo didn’t forgot too Brand his Requim Star doing the Same Gruesome thing showing how Dangerous They can be.

And Meanwhile Reo He had grown Far more Richer both in resources and resolve.

---

Standing before a towering luxury apartment complex, Althea crossed her arms and tilted her chin upward, her pale hair shimmering beneath the streetlights.

"We’re staying here tonight," she declared, as if it were already a royal decree.

Reo raised an eyebrow, but nodded. He glanced at Andrea, who had stars in her eyes as she admired the dazzling structure.

"Mortal!" she chirped, skipping up beside him. "You have all kinds of food here, right? Could you order everything? Especially your favorites! I want to try all of them!"

Reo sighed with a small smile. "You’re lucky I just looted 150 million Stellar Credits."

From his memory, a single sack of Blessed Stones ranged from ten to fifty million depending on purity. And right now He had enough to fuel his plans for a while.

---

Upon entering the apartment lobby, they were immediately approached by staff gentle, respectful, and clearly mistaking them for wealthy nobles or high-level executives.

Althea’s presence alone radiated elegance, and her natural cleansing ability left no trace of battle behind. Her icy aura gave her the image of a noblewoman from a realm beyond this world.

Andrea, meanwhile, bounced with energy, smiling politely but constantly looking around at the polished floors, glowing chandeliers, and walls lined with art. She leaned in close to Reo and whispered with awe, "Everything here is so shiny! It’s like a mortal palace!"

Reo couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

"Let’s check in," he said, walking toward the front desk.

With their appearance, aura, and apparent wealth, no one questioned them. A penthouse suite was secured within minutes, and soon, they found themselves stepping into a room at the top floor—spacious, luxurious, and stocked with everything they could need for a night of planning, rest, and recovery.

For a moment, Reo allowed himself to relax.

Finding Peace for this next Few days would be much more harder sadly.

Reo sighed Comfort right now is only temporary.

But first Dinner.

"Let’s eat," he said, pulling up the ordering Menu and placing an order for everything he could think of.

Althea just sat crossed legged in the Bed Looking at Reo and Andrea close too each other Picking food.

There’s flicker of Annoyance inside her that she couldn’t understand.

Andrea cheered softly, clapping her hands. Althea simply sat down on the velvet couch, legs crossed, eyes closed, exhaling slowly. The night was calm.
