Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world-Chapter 355: Crush?
Sitting alone atop the school building, Charlotte rested her elbows on the metal railing as the soft hum of the wind brushed past her hair.
The morning sunlight bathed the playground below in a golden glow, and from her height, she could see almost everything... the chatter of students, the laughter, and the faint echo of sneakers striking the pavement.
Her gaze, however, was fixed on one person.
Down on the court, Brandon stood among his classmates, dressed in his school uniform with the sleeves rolled up.
He was laughing as he served the volleyball.
Every time he jumped to hit the ball, his hair would catch the light, and Charlotte found herself unconsciously following him, her eyes softening for a moment.
"Still so full of energy..." she murmured under her breath, her lips curling faintly.
Watching Brandon move so freely, smiling without a trace of burden, brought a strange warmth to her chest.
Her attention drifted toward the sideline, where a group of girls had gathered, holding water bottles and chatting among themselves.
One of them, a short-haired girl with bright eyes seemed particularly focused on Brandon.
Her gaze followed his every move, and her cheeks turned slightly pink whenever he looked in her direction.
Charlotte’s brows twitched.
The girl’s friend beside her was grinning playfully before nudging her shoulder.
The short-haired girl instantly blushed, shaking her head, mouthing something that looked like "Shut up."
But her friend only giggled, pointing openly toward Brandon again.
From above, Charlotte could read their lips easily and her gaze narrowed.
A faint ripple of blue ether flickered across her eyes, vanishing as quickly as it appeared.
"Hmm..." she muttered quietly, leaning slightly forward on the railing "High school girls these days... no restraint at all."
Down below, Brandon laughed at something his teammate said, brushing his hair back before serving the ball again.
Charlotte’s jaw tightened just a little.
She knew it is ridiculous... he is young, surrounded by people his age, enjoying a normal student life.
But still, watching that girl’s eyes light up for him... she didn’t like it. Not one bit.
For a long moment, she just stayed there and silently watched as the game continued.
The bell rang soon after, signaling the end of the break.
Students began dispersing, picking up their bags, and chatting as they left the playground.
Brandon tossed the volleyball to a friend and wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.
As the wind tousled her hair across her face, she brushed it aside gently, her gaze lingering on the empty playground.
"Maybe it’s time," she whispered to herself, "that I reminded those little girls... he’s not someone they should look at so lightly."
---
It was already evening.
A sharp noise of a slap echoed through the quiet street, disturbing the stillness.
*thud*
The girl staggered backward and fell down, losing her balance.
She raised her hand up instinctively to her cheek and looked at the woman in front of her with wide, trembling eyes.
Charlotte’s cold eyes looked down at the trembling girl without the slightest hint of remorse.
"Did you hear me?"
The girl’s lips quivered. "Y-Yes..."
Charlotte’s gaze did not waver and she took a step forward "Never, ever look at his side again."
The girl nodded quickly, clutching her cheek as tears welled up in her eyes "Y-Yes, ma’am... I-I won’t..."
Satisfied, Charlotte straightened and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear "Good."
The girl lowered her head immediately, biting her lip to keep herself from sobbing.
She turned and hurried away down the dimly lit street, vanishing into the distance without daring to look back.
Charlotte remained there for a moment, and then she turned her gaze toward the far end of the street.
Brandon would be on his way home around now, probably walking that same road with his bag slung over his shoulder, chatting with his friends.
She sighed, tucking her hands into her coat pockets as she turned toward the direction of his usual route. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"Some things aren’t meant for others to touch... or even look at."

Back to the present
Sitting on the private ethercraft, Charlotte remembered the moments from the date she had with Brandon.
For a moment, she just sat there indulging in the warmth that filled her chest.
Smiling, she took a diary from her storage ring and began to write what happened on the date.
Yesterday... we went out together.
We talked, we laughed... and for once, I forgot about the duties and the endless pressure that comes with being me.
With him, it felt... lighter.
She paused, her pen hovering above the page.
I didn’t tell him, but I didn’t want the day to end.
When he looked at me, it felt like the world slowed down just enough for me to breathe.
Uff, I was so nervous in the morning itself... waiting for him.

Meanwhile, in the morning, Brandon walked down the stairs to the living room.
As he reached the final step, he caught sight of Ravene lounging on the couch, with a steaming mug of coffee in her hand, watching teh TV.
"Morning," he greeted in his usual light tone.
Ravene’s gaze flicked toward him, and a small chuckle escaped her lips. "Oh, you’re back," she said teasingly, patting the space beside her. "Come here."
Sitting beside her, he leaned gently against her shoulder.
Ravene shifted her coffee mug to her other hand and wrapped her free arm around him, pulling him closer.
"Long morning?" she asked softly, sipping from her mug.
"A bit," he murmured with half-lidded eyes as he relaxed against her.
From the stairs behind them, soft footsteps echoed again.
Elize appeared and glanced at Brandon resting against Ravene’s shoulder, and she paused, her lips curling into a small, fond smile.
’I should go prepare coffee for him.’
But as she turned to head toward the kitchen...
"Aunt Elize," Brandon said, glancing over his shoulder with a small smile. "Come here."
Hm? She blinked and walked toward him.
As she reached him, he gently grasped her hand and pulled her, making her stumble lightly before ending up sitting on his lap.
She let her arm slide around his shoulders, resting there with a small giggle.
Brandon leaned back slightly and glanced at the two women "I want to tell you something."
Both women glanced at each other for a moment.
Ravene set her mug down, while Elize tilted her head "What is it, dear?"
With a faint nod, he muttered "I am in love with... Florence."
