Dark Mantle was alarmed by this sudden attack and by the fact that his body seemed to be responding less effectively.

After all, the Basilisk currently had the active class. Its stats were 70 points. Although Dark Mantle was powerful, the reality was that his stats were also around that number of points, as he had focused his attention on his physical abilities.

He did not expect there to be a beast that could counter him in this way. And it was not the first time he had used magnetism in his body. He had tried it before and was sure he could withstand even those machines specialized in it.

But this magnetism was powerful because of the immense capacity of its launcher.

In the end, he had to accept his fate for now and hardened his arms to cast spells.

He let the basilisk drag him toward it. The Thoran Twins quickly approached when they noticed the openings, as did Elliot's summonings.

"Stay behind!" Elliot shouted the moment he saw that the Thorans were getting too close.

But his warning came a little too late, or perhaps it was because their speed was not the same. Suddenly, they witnessed what Dark Mantle was planning.

An explosion erupted from his body outward, as if he were exploding himself. The oppressive force was powerful, and the range of impact was about 15 meters.

The Thoran twins had to stop immediately and tried to move away, but they were within the attack range of this explosion.

They were forced to cover themselves with their weapons, but the explosion was terrifying and sent them flying.

Seven of Elliot's eight summons were relatively close by, with the exception of the mage, who was currently falling from the sky, casting spells at Sir Ruined, who had begun to follow Elliot.

Elliot's six summons were blown to pieces, including the human swordsman. Suddenly, Elliot felt his entire body fill with power.

Every corner of his body felt as if it were at the peak of his life. His strength, resistance, agility, senses... everything increased severalfold.

His strength rose by approximately 30 stat points at once, surpassing those mythical 100 points for the first time.

This was just what he wanted.

He recharged himself with power and sheathed his sword. It was a trick. He wasn't going to strike with it because he knew that guy was incredibly tough.

He needed to find the head, and there was nothing better than his fists to do it.

Just then, the smoke from the explosion cleared.

Nothing had happened to Dark Mantle. The explosion had occurred, but his body was too tough for something like that to affect him.

Even so, his explosion didn't have enough range to affect Elliot, although that wasn't what he was looking for.

He quickly looked toward where the enormous beast was, as that was his real target. He couldn't fight with such a great weakness. So he sought to destroy it.

Seeing that all the nearby summonses were exploding, he smiled.

But then he looked at the Basilisk.

A huge energy armor was covering it from head to toe... Part of its head had exploded, but it was still alive and attacking him at that moment with those sharp claws.

Dark Mantle stood stunned, staring at him. He didn't have time to dodge because of his distraction, so soon his body was struck by claws that, for the first time in a long time, made him feel pain.

They dug into his metallic body and slammed him to the ground.

His attack wasn't that powerful, but those claws... they were special. Dark Cloak realized that this guy was his most extreme counter.

At the same time that he saw his body pinned to the ground, Elliot looked at the basilisk's shattered face.

He frowned.

"That damn bastard..." He felt a strong anger rising through his body. But he also felt an intense need to heal him.

He had realized that, for other people, his summonings were just made of energy and nothing else. And while that is true, in his eyes, it is different.

Since leaving the Trial of God, when he sees them torn apart, he feels he can see them realistically, as if he were looking at the blood, veins, bones, brain...

These were effects of his ability. But that's how he sees them now.

That's why he felt the need to heal him.

Unfortunately, it wasn't something he could do.

So he could only vent his fury on the guy below.

His body had increased in weight thanks to the strength he had suddenly gained, so he quickly fell on Dark Mantle and his fist dug hard into his head.

Each of his blows carried the strength of a person with over 100 stat points and the anger of someone whose child had been touched.

Perhaps he didn't take his dead invocations into account in this, because he could feel them inside him. They were calm, some were excited to recover and wanted to go out and continue fighting.

But they were calm.

They couldn't continue fighting because their bodies were shattered, but they maintained a calmness that he couldn't be angry with them for, because they were excited to give him their power.

But the Basilisk was different.

He was, along with the Raven, the most expressive about his feelings, perhaps because they were more intelligent. Thanks to that, he could feel the humiliation he was feeling at that moment.

A living being created to endure had suffered such damage. How could he not feel ashamed?

That humiliation was what stirred up the anger inside Elliot.

And that's why his blows were terrifying.

In any case, it didn't matter.

Dark Mantle was a member of Altarcitus.

So what if he died?

He had to die, as he was one of those who killed his family!

Although his hands hurt terribly with each blow, he didn't stop until someone forced him to.

Statistics increase and an announcement.

[You have killed a Master Rank Elven Awakened.]

[You have gained 8 points of Sense and 4 points of Resistance.]

Elliot smiled. He had gotten rid of the first one.

Looking up, he also realized that his sense had increased by 8 points due to the death of his mage. But so had his strength and resistance.

By 10 points each!

Which meant that his basilisk had died.

Ruin and Sir Ruined had joined forces to fight together. They realized the danger they posed.

"Too late." Elliot smiled.

Even though Jenna and Andrew were beaten and driven away, and the Thoran twins were under brutal attack, Elliot jumped toward them on his own.

Right now, he felt... powerful.

It was hard not to feel that way!

One of his stats was close to or above 120 points. The other was dangerously approaching 100 points.

Right now, his power was at its peak.

Coming up behind them, he delivered a powerful blow to Ruin, pinning him to the ground, completely dizzy, and took the opportunity to engage in a head-on battle with Sir Ruined.

Ruin was in shock, and when he got up, his world was spinning.

"What the hell just happened?" Dazed, he brought a hand to his head to shake off the dizziness, and then his mind cleared.

The once-greatest fighter among them was dead.

The other, whose status in the organization is one of the highest due to his ability, was currently being continuously slapped around as he tried to spread his ruin toward him.

Sir Ruined's body was different. It had been corroded by ruin and was practically made of energy.

Despite that, he was feeling terrible pain that constantly overwhelmed him. Although he didn't seem to have a body, the reality was that this was a falsehood.

He felt more pain with this body than when he had a human body. And that terrible pain was making him moan as he tried to spread his ruin toward the guy in front of him, who, somehow, was overcoming him despite being above both of their abilities.

They didn't understand what the hell was going on, but the reality was that they were being beaten by a guy with a power that shouldn't exist.

His blows burned, even though Sir Ruined essentially had no body. He felt as if his nonexistent bones were breaking, and this led him to terrible agony, unable to defend himself.

At that moment, Ruin burst into flames behind Elliot and struck him with all his might, carrying him away.

Elliot planted his foot firmly on the ground and struck behind him, but the two were not there.

'Didn't he follow me?' he thought, but then he looked up as he sensed danger coming from above.

Both of them were above him, launching a combined attack. It was strange.

Powerful, but strangely, everything around them seemed to slow down considerably. Above him, he felt a terrifying pressure.

'Another combination?'
