The two sides released their energy, showing both of them were not weak. After understanding a bit of Alex's strength, the Earth God came to the Supreme Beast's side and said, "My King, it's not good. They may be using their number to exhaust you first. I hope that My King doesn't make a move first. Let us."

The Supreme Beast narrowed his eyes and raised his voice. "Spirit God! What do you think about leaving this place? We can fight in another place like what we did in the past!"

"Alex…" Lin Xingzhi looked at him with a concerned face, waiting for his answer. She was just afraid that Alex would leave them again like in the past.

But fighting here also meant he would see his people dying because that strategy might be good but not fit for Alex.

'War is a fight of sacrifice huh.' Alex let out a long sigh and looked at Lin Xingzhi, handing her a wooden token. "I have sealed my energy in this place. If it's cracking, it means I'm in trouble. If it's not, please trust me."

"Sacrifice may be the best answer, but it's out of my character." Alex smiled and looked at the beast with a calm expression before disappearing from the battlefield.

The beast could see his movement and also left the battlefield, following him to another place. This was the reason the Supreme Beast hadn't panicked yet. The Spirit God had a character. It might be foolish but honorable. That was why the Supreme Beast actually respected Alex, not all the other God Kings from the past or the present, despite being his enemy.

In another area, Alex halted his movement, feeling that he had gained enough distance from the others. He scanned the area, finding a few Divine Worlds, Upper Worlds, and even some Lower Worlds. This place seemed to be filled with many "shields" that he could use to block the Supreme Beast's attack.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Beast had arrived right behind him without releasing his power. He simply stared at Alex's back with a smirk. "Oh, Spirit God! To think you would still be like this after getting defeated by me. I'm impressed."

"That was in the past. The present… Do you think you can win?" As Alex asked that question, the seal he placed in his body disappeared, releasing a dense Immortal Energy from his body and showing him his real cultivation stage. He repeated the question. "Do you think you can win?"

The beast shivered as he took a step back, looking at Alex with excitement. "Hahahaha! Good, good, good! As expected, you have reached the True Immortal Stage too, Spirit God!"

"Is there a need to be the strongest?" Alex's eyes became melancholy. "Some people will always jump into an opportunity to get stronger and they will continue doing it until they die. For me, this strength is just a burden. I don't wish to have this strength, but it's also necessary to wield it to protect what's mine."

"Becoming a philosopher already?" The Supreme Beast released his killing intent and Immortal Energy.

"No. I'm just questioning your existence. I don't need to wield this power if you're not here." Alex shook his head and released his killing intent too. Their auras alone clashed, creating a shock wave to the surrounding planets. "A lonely boy who is unwanted… How cute."

"!!!" The Supreme Beast gritted his teeth as if Alex just poked something in his past. He roared and spat out a purple-colored poison ball of his mouth.

Alex smiled and raised his hand. A pink sphere appeared between them as it caught the poison ball and wrapped it gently.

"Space Compression."

The ball suddenly shrank because it just compressed nothing. Just like his Divine Petals, which should be a Fire Element Technique but could have a Space Element. This Space Element Technique could also gain his Fire Element, burning the poison as soon as it wrapped the poison ball.

Watching this, the Supreme Beast was stunned and looked at Alex, feeling that he was stronger than he expected.

"What? You're getting triggered already." Alex snorted.

"Don't talk like you know me!" The Supreme Beast roared, sending his killing intent to Alex.

The latter only brushed it off while saying, "And you talk like you know me. Hypocrite. Well, I guess that's how you, a beast, operate. Despite being a proud dragon, you didn't get the attention you deserved and came to this place to attain it. Pathetic."

"Shut up!" The Supreme Beast created a large ice meteoroid and launched it toward Alex.

"…" Alex simply shrugged his shoulders and gently waved his sword with the Nature Energy from his Spirit Crown. "One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction."

The Sword Wave cut through the Ice easily and made its way toward the Supreme Beast.

Rainbow-colored energy gathered on his hand as the Supreme Beast caught it with his paw and shattered the Sword Wave. "Gehenna Gauntlet."

"I don't care about your complex, but there's a limit to what you can do. Since you're planning to destroy this universe, I shall cut you down here and now."

"You don't know anything!" The Supreme Beast raised his voice. "You don't know the feeling of oppression. Despite becoming one of the most important people, your effort won't be recognized. You don't know anything!

"When you did something amazing, people would always compare yourself to your elder, saying it's not enough. Whatever you did is just to be compared and forgotten."

Alex shook his head and smiled, "I know. I know that feeling. Being compared to a genius family member and continuously getting outshined. I know that feeling very well."

Alex remembered his past when people only thought of his genius sister. He tried to do anything to assist his sister, yet, his effort only made the people around him scorn and throw him into the trash.

People could easily recall the number one… Who is the first person to go into space? They could easily answer it. Yet, when the question changed into "Who is the second person to go into space?" Alex doubted only a small number of people could answer it.

Back then, his only determination to continue living was Sandra. The naive him thought Sandra must have recognized his effort, becoming one of the small group of people that knew such an answer.

Unfortunately for him, the choice was wrong. Although he only admitted it now, Maria turned out to be the one recognizing his effort, especially when she tried to talk it out when Sandra and John demeaned him. If he were together with Maria instead of Sandra, he wondered what kind of future he would have.

Nevertheless, it was just the past. All the things that had happened as well as the choices in the past had given him far more important things. Lin Xingzhi, Anna, Anya… If he wanted to name all of them, he would be happy to do it. They were, after all, his most precious treasures.

That was why he understood the beast's feeling. Just like the Spirit God said, the beast was just a lonely child. Unlike him, the beast didn't have anyone who would support him and turned into something like this—chopping his dragon body just to become a mutant of six species.

Alex's serious expression as if he knew it all just pissed the Supreme Beast off. He thought, 'Khh… What are those eyes? What is that look? Are you pitying me?'

The Supreme Beast released all his energy and roared, "I don't need your pity. I will kill you and everyone here! No one shall stop me again!"

Before Alex could say anything, he gathered the rainbow-colored energy and released it from his hand.

"Gehenna Ray."

If it were the past him, he would've freaked out. But he had grown much stronger from that time. He raised his hand and summoned a Fire Lotus. The Petals flew and clashed with the Gehenna Ray, causing a huge explosion.

As one would expect, the Fire Lotus suddenly disappeared as the Gehenna Ray continued on its path.

"Haiz, it's truly not enough." Alex shook his head in disappointment. "At least, it has weakened the attack so much."

Alex let out a long sigh and received the weakened Gehenna Ray with his swords and launched it above instead, letting it explode when it reached an asteroid.

"Anyway, I don't care much about your past. I just want to kill you here." Alex snorted and turned serious.

The Supreme Beast chuckled and released all his rainbow-colored energy, covering his body like armor. This was indeed something Alex had never faced. "I think we've warmed up enough, right? Let's get serious then."

He gathered all the energy into his mouth as he released it like a breath. "Gehenna Ray."

"!!!" Alex widened his eyes and felt something was different from the previous Gehenna Ray. It was far stronger and concentrated. He decided to take one step away from this and let the Gehenna Ray pass him, hitting the Upper World behind him.

Boom.

A tremendous shock wave launched the Upper World and created a deep hole inside. In fact, Alex could see the world's core along with so much molten lava that began to freeze because of the temperature in outer space and the destroyed atmosphere that couldn't withstand the temperature.

The Supreme Beast just half destroyed the Upper World, which was several times bigger than a Lower World. He indeed far surpassed the him who was a mere God King.

"…" Alex took a deep breath and stared at the beast.

Seeing this gaze, the beast only laughed and said, "Oh, Spirit God! I wonder what you can do when you're in this position… I truly would like to see your power after becoming a True Immortal."

Alex sighed as his aura soared through the roof with his spear and sword gathered all Immortal Energy Alex could offer before they released it in one go. "Sword and Spear Possession."

Golden and blue colored energy fused together with his Immortal Energy as Alex raised his hand.

"One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction."

The Sword Wave carried a trace of Fire and Space Elements as well as all his power like Blade Qi and Intent.

Since Alex avoided his strike, he moved to the right to dodge it as well, letting it hit the Lower World behind him. It was different from him, but he soon heard two loud rumbling sounds in his ears, making him turn around and finding Alex just cut two Lower Worlds that lined up on his back.

"What did you say again?" Alex snorted with a cold gaze.
