Gacha Sovereign-Chapter 1164: Retreat

"Move!" Alex advanced without waiting for the enemies to react.

"Kh!" The Supreme Beast clenched his teeth and raised his voice. "Attack them. I will handle the Spirit God."

The Supreme Beast actually knew that Alex already had enough power to kill him, considering he could use his Eight Purities Slash again, but there was no way he would admit it.

"My King, you should recover first!" The Angel shouted, knowing that the beast couldn't handle Alex's full power in his current condition. "Let us protect you for the time being."

Like how desperate the Spirit God and the others were, their side also didn't want to lose this war, especially after having so many sacrifices. The Angel called a name, "Michael. Go use your life to recover our King. I will take full responsibility after this."

The Michael in his mouth was none other than his own pet. Despite being reluctant to die, Michael nodded his head and stopped fighting, returning to the Supreme Beast's side.

Meanwhile, a bat's pet appeared, trying to stop Alex with his life."My King, let me block him for you. If you can recover to your peak, we will win."

The Supreme Beast nodded his head and went back.

"No, you won't!" Alex used his Teleportation Array to go past the bat, but the latter managed to react fast enough to stop him again.

"My King! Let me supply that energy to you." The Angel's Pet suddenly appeared and released a huge amount of Life Energy that had been converted from the Light Element.

"What is he doing?" Alex narrowed his eyes while clashing with the bat's pet that turned out to be a serpent.

"You won't pass me!" The bat's pet smirked, trying to buy time for the Supreme Beast.

"Move, traitor!" Alex gritted his teeth and found that the Angel used his body to turn all his Light Element to Life Energy as his entire self would change as well. At the same time, the Supreme Beast appreciated that and opened his mouth, trying to absorb that power to recover his energy.

'This is bad,' Alex thought, knowing that if the Supreme Beast would recover to his peak, even if he couldn't defeat Alex, he could hold Alex back long enough until his subordinates killed the God Kings on his side.

Yet, it seemed they had forgotten someone who had a natural affinity with Life and Death Energy.

"Life and Death Coffin, Activate." A huge coffin appeared above Alaya's head. The huge amount of Life Energy from the Angel was like delicious food presented in front of her.

When it was about to flow to the beast, the energy suddenly turned around, flowing toward the Life and Death Coffin instead.

"!!!" The beast widened his eyes and looked at Alaya. "You are the Life and Death Goddess."

"Hmph!" Alaya snorted and kept absorbing the energy. "I'm sick of being useless in this battle."

Not wanting to waste that huge amount of energy and knowing that it was impossible to stop that kind of flow to her coffin, the beast decided to devour all the energy he could in a few seconds before a scream echoed in his ears.

Alex just killed a God King, specifically one of the Bats' pets, he went straight to the beast, forcing him to stop devouring the energy.

"Spirit God!" The beast roared and marched forward to handle him. Unfortunately, the beast could only devour half of the energy from the Angel, so his energy was only half of Alex's, while Alaya got at least half of the portion.

Alex snorted and slashed his sword.

"One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction."

The Sword Wave flew toward the beast. The other God Kings seemed to want to stop it, but Alex's side pushed harder than before, so they couldn't really stop it.

The Supreme Beast gritted his teeth and spat a purple ball, corroding the Sword Wave to weaken it before he deflected the attack with his Gehenna Gauntlet.

"It's useless." Alex snorted and flew straight toward him. Right before he arrived, Alex waved his weapons three times.

"Triple Draws."

"One Inch Spear."

Six extended blades went straight toward him, trying to trap him.

The Supreme Beast created round-shaped rainbow-colored energy, protecting him from these six slashes before releasing another wave of the same energy toward Alex.

"Gehenna Ray."

Alex lifted his finger and used his Subjective Reality to turn it around, but as he expected earlier, that also became the reason why he didn't utilize it until now. Only half of the Gehenna Ray was able to be controlled and turned back.

Meanwhile, Alex raised his other hand to face the other half. A powerful torrential Space Energy gathered on top of his palm as he tossed it to the front. "Black Hole."

The Black Hole absorbed all that energy before exploding because it went beyond its limit, transmitting the shock wave from the collision between Space Energy to that rainbow-colored energy.

"…" Alex narrowed his eyes, knowing that it wouldn't be that easy to defeat the Supreme Beast. Although the beast's six Laws were not perfect, it managed to neutralize his Law, making it hard this whole time.

To increase his power once again, Alex summoned a giant Fire Disturbance before he absorbed all that energy and channeled his Sword and Spear. "Star God Divine Control."

"Divine Petals."

A huge lotus appeared above his head before all the petals fell, flying toward the beast.

Looking at these ten petals, the beast tried to figure out what he should do. Because of Alex's Sun God Fire, he couldn't really summon his Phoenix Fire, leaving only five elements left. Luckily, Alex's Sun God Fire only removed his Phoenix Fire instead of his entire body. His combined body seemed to reduce that effect too.

He then summoned Light and Dark Elements together from his Angel and Bat bodies. The two energies fused together to make ten small white and black balls.

"Yin Yang Bomb."

Those ten clashed with Alex's petals, but Alex managed to camouflage himself among the petals as he slashed his sword, sending a Sword Wave that cut through both the petal and the ball.

"!!!" The beast widened his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows before creating two rainbow gauntlets and tried to stop Alex's attack. "Ha!"

That clash was witnessed by all people on the battlefield, including his subordinates. "My King!"

Because of that attack, Alex used that chance to use another Space Element to teleport him right before the Supreme Beast. "Die!"

The nearest bat realized Alex's sword was covered in energy that far surpassed his Eight Purities Slash.

If his normal Eight Purities Slash contained either his Law or his Fire Disturbance, this slash contained both of them at the same time.

Of course, this could only be used once because it sucked almost fifty percent of his Divine Energy at an instant if he didn't want to have it explode in his hand.

"My King!" One of the Bat's pets actually appeared between Alex and the beast and used his own body to shield this attack to prevent it from killing the Supreme Beast.

Unfortunately for him, this strength was far more tremendous than anyone could think of.

The Supreme Beast already covered his whole body with rainbow-colored energy while creating another sphere as a layer of protection from this attack.

"Move!" Alex roared and slashed his sword as hard as possible. "Nine Purities Slash."

All strength erupted for a second before the outer space began to crack like when the Supreme Beast first made its appearance. This power was even transmitted to those behind the Supreme Beast as it continued forward until it cut an Upper World, leaving a giant Sword Mark on its surface to the point it almost reached the planet's core.

The pet managed to stop that attack for a little, but some still went to slash the Supreme Beast as a huge sword mark appeared on its body.

Yet, the most shocking thing was the one who spat a mouthful of blood first was not the beast. Instead, it was Alex.

"Gah."

Alex widened his eyes and looked down, finding that the bear's paw pierced through the pet's stomach and stabbed him. If not due to his instant reaction to drop his spear and catch that paw, there might be a hole in his stomach already.

Still, the power that Alex used earlier was far greater than the beast could take as he fell back as blood started coming out. The beast's blood was not regular blood as his blood turned out to be purple.

"I won't go down that easily, Spirit God." He smirked. "Why don't you use your life again to seal me for another five thousand years?"

Alex gritted his teeth and leaped back while covering his stomach with his hand.

Alex quickly stopped the blood flow with his Divine Energy before looking at the beast whose condition was a bit worse than him.

There was no doubt that this injury had settled this war. While holding his stomach, Alex thought, 'What should I do? If I continue fighting, there will be a chance that I need to sacrifice my life to kill him. But if I don't, I'm afraid that the beast will come back even stronger.

'No. Maybe the beast will arrive at the stage above God King… I don't know that stage yet because if the beast truly reaches the next stage, he will kill me and the others while leaving his subordinates to destroy this universe. Hence, I can't afford to… Unless…'

Alex suddenly remembered his encounter with the previous Spirit God in Encore. He promised that he wouldn't die again to prevent tears from coming out of his wives' eyes.

And to prevent the worst-case scenario, he said to him that there was another trump and last trump card he had prepared if anything couldn't work. Still, he couldn't afford to stop just like this.

If he retreated this easily, the army would lose their morale because the Spirit God actually feared death. They would be reluctant to follow him after today and the next battle would be hard to rally a war cry.

He took a deep breath and changed his strategy. Instead of fighting the beast in close range, he planned to do something else.

Hence, Alex laughed out loud and shouted, "You are pathetic, oi, Beast."

The Supreme Beast gritted his teeth and glared at Alex, releasing his killing intent. Of course, he didn't know Alex planned not to die, so he wondered what Alex would do.

"Five thousand years ago, I was not your match. Now?! You are in this pathetic state. Come! I will play along with you to the very end. Even if I need to die, I will make sure that you and all your "pets" die today." Alex smirked and released his killing intent, showing how serious he was.

The Supreme Beast also did not plan to die today, but the situation truly wasn't in his favor, considering that Alex was stronger than his past self, especially due to the Void Flower. In the past, if Alex had Void Flower, he had a chance to win against him and turn around the situation without allowing those old folks to die.

Yet, there were also a few miscalculations on his part. The first would be Alex's strength, which consisted of Fire God, Dungeon God, and Spirit God's power, turning him to be the strongest human in this Universe. The second would be Alaya's power. If she were not here, he would gain enough energy to kill Alex.

Last but not least, the reinforcement. Even though it was a small reinforcement, it was all it took for the Spirit God turned the situation around.

"My King!" The Angel gritted his teeth, feeling remorseful because his pet faced an unnecessary death. "It seems we need to go with the worst-scenario plan, My King."

"Yes." The beast narrowed his eyes and shook his head in disappointment. As much as he wanted to deny this situation, he couldn't. He said, "We're retreating."
