Su Jiameng focused intensely on her training, yet she didn’t overlook the happenings around her. Whether it was An Xiangjiao’s actions or Li You’s, she was fully aware of them. If she couldn’t multitask, she wouldn’t know how many times she would have died already.
After completing a training session, Su Jiameng felt all her muscles screaming with fatigue and severe pain, but today’s training had just begun, so she could only endure it. As she walked out of the gravity training room, she saw Li You standing straight in his military uniform nearby. "Miss Su," Li You called out to Su Jiameng with a voice that had no fluctuation, as if he was reading a dry document.
"Good morning, Lieutenant General Li. May I know why you’ve called me?" Su Jiameng chose an appropriate form of address, turned, and looked at him, "If the Lieutenant General has no special instructions, I have some training to do and cannot entertain you for now."
"A word of advice: keep a low profile recently; quite a few people have their eyes on you," Li You said plainly, not beating around the bush at all. "I don’t know why someone with two mechas would end up on a poor planet, nor do I know why someone so young would have two children, but I am certain many undisclosed things have happened in your past. If you attract too much attention, believe me, your future life will be chaotic and unrestful."
Su Jiameng furrowed her brows deeply upon hearing this. The fragmented memories left in this body were far too little and complicated, many things were nothing more than blurry scenes, offering no useful information upon analysis. Thus, Su Jiameng was entirely unaware of this body’s past, only vaguely knowing she came from a distinguished family. But why she ended up on a poor planet, that part of her memory was blank.
Just as Lieutenant General Li said, many things must have happened to this body, possibly involving numerous scandalous secrets. If no one digs out these pasts, they would spell disaster rather than luck, and her life might end up completely ruined!
Li You thought she was terrified, sighed inwardly, and continued, "Although personal information on the interstellar network is protected by the Alliance, such words only deceive ordinary people. Families with power and influence can easily trace and acquire specific details about a person. I can clearly tell you that your identity information has been tampered with at least three times, once by the Yives family, that is your partner Lucy’s family, and the other two forces are unclear..."
The protective measures of those two forces were very tight, even Li You dared not investigate further for fear of getting caught by them. These influential entities targeting Su Jiameng clearly indicate she has witnessed or been involved in scandals, making surviving already a fortune. If she keeps high-profile antics, she’d end up killed in an ugly, very systematic manner!
Su Jiameng rubbed her aching brow, pondering that she should properly confront the past of this body, at least not let those things affect her future. No matter who those two forces are, regardless of what may have happened in the past... she, Su Jiameng, is not the same abandoned original owner who struggled bitterly! Whoever dares to harm her or her family must be prepared for revenge!
"You’re quite clever, not revealing too much personal information in the Mecha Fighting Arena. Stop here, or learn to keep a low profile," Li You bothered to come over and say these words, merely to avoid Su Jiameng involving Qin Mo, nothing more.
If investigated further, perhaps there was some admiration. After all, her first appearance was too impressive, then the rigorous training gained him additional appreciation; based on these favorable feelings, Li You didn’t wish for Su Jiameng’s future to be too miserable.
