From a Talentless nobody to An SSS Class Dragon-Chapter 186: Bonds

Velia, Lilly, Ghost, and Aria. That makes us a party of 5 which is a pretty big group for the most part. I guess it is kind of hard to leave any of those four behind since our bonds are pretty tough.

That basically means that Akina and Mira will be the ones left behind in this current predicament. I doubt Mira really cares much but Akina might give some issues with it.

"I think it is a good party to bring to the demon realms. We’ll hold the fort down here." Akina says with a smirk on her face.

I never really talked to her about what happened back in the tower either but that can wait till later. I’d rather get everything else sorted out first.

"You never told Rokuro why you took us out the tower." Ghost speaks up with some frustration.

"He didn’t ask, I figured he didn’t care." Akina responds with a shrug.

"I cleared the tower so it doesn’t really matter anyway. I was curious about why you left with the girls so suddenly but maybe it was for the better." I say with a calm and casual tone.

"The crystal up top wouldn’t have been good for anyone else to see. At least for the girls here, I can’t really explain it right now but it was for the better." Akina responds.

"Then I appreciate you looking out for them." I say with a genuine tone.

Akina is one of the main people I keep an eye on the most but she does seem to have good intentions for everyone here. Originally she wasn’t even going to help much in the fights.

This was all supposed to be her observing to see if I’d actually accomplish the goal I set out to complete. Someone who actually can kill the Monarch’s instead of just saying it.

The demon realms will definitely hold quite a lot of answers for me. That might even be the perfect place for me to get strong enough to kill one of them.

Chaos definitely has one watching over the demon realms or else he’d be stupid for leaving them unattended. But maybe not since he still doesn’t consider me a great enough threat to show himself.

He could’ve appeared by now if he thought I was a problem.

"I’ll help prepare some stuff for your time in the demon realms. You’ll probably end up in the first realm too." Akina says with a kind tone.

I barely remember what the Angel told me about the demon realms, just some stuff about what happened. But there is seven of them to deal with.

The final realm is where the primordial demon resides, the one that the monarch probably puppets. I don’t really know what else they’d be doing with him.

This whole thing sounds like a gamble but I need to start making more progress.

Ashline will be the first demon realm we enter. We’ll probably face the least amount of problems in there to start.

I’m sure we’ll still make enemies since you are a human and humans are definitely hated by most of the demons. You got lucky with Lilly since she ended up being exiled.

But every other demon is definitely going to be after your head the moment we enter.

Who says I’ll look human anyway? I don’t know how they feel about dragons, but I do know I can resemble one pretty well.

Horns, scales, wings, and even the talons. I don’t know if you forgot about that but it definitely could help my chances in there a bit more.

That’s just my personal opinion though.

I’m not too sure how demons are within your world. They seem to be different in most and I don’t really remember them hating dragons in mine.

Dragons were mostly hunted by heroes because of stupid stories that were spun up. It was a rough time back then for us.

Dragon kin aren’t really that different from full dragons either but they aren’t born as actual dragons. They just have the ability to become one down the road.

I guess it has a different meaning everywhere though.

I would’ve just assumed that it meant you’re a dragon regardless. At least that’s what I would think it means.

But that’s not the point here, you completely skipped past what I said.

It’s okay, I don’t mind learning about your past either. Everyone has one and I want to know what you guys dealt with. My past was quite shitty as well but not everyone knows about it yet.

I don’t really think I told anyone about it but I’d like to keep it that way for the time being. You might be the only person who’s seen it since you linger in my head.

I can only seememories when you want me to, thoughts are a bit different. But I have seen some stuff through your eyes of course.

Yeah... I know some stuff about your past. Minami is the biggest thing that lingers around your head and that I’ve seen through your eyes.

The one person I’ll never be able to bring back no matter how hard I try. She’ll always be dead with no way for me to make it right. I wish I could’ve had this power back when that monster invaded our home.

It’s odd though, I never saw a monster like that again. It didn’t seem to be a whisperspawn so I wonder what it could’ve been.

Maybe a husk? I’m not too sure. The details have kind of slipped away from me over time. I’m sure that it is still out there somewhere, killing other people and ruining their lives as well.

I’d wager that a similar monster might be out there but the same exact one is probably dead or long gone.

Probably. They don’t really act the same way humans do.
