Fortunate to Have You This Lifetime-Chapter 993 Want to Dote on You_1
Chapter 993: Chapter 993 Want to Dote on You_1
Purple Summers arrived early this time, and Victoria Morrison didn’t trouble her.
The other students also made it to the classroom before the bell for class rang.
Apparently, they had all learned about the teacher’s strictness; no one dared to be late.
But the content of this theoretical class was extremely dull, and since everyone had rushed over early in the morning, it wasn’t long before some began to feel drowsy.
Victoria Morrison was displeased. She picked up her lesson plan materials and slammed them on the podium twice, making a loud banging noise.
"Are you here to sleep?!" she barked sharply, "After enduring years of hard study to get into this institute, is it just to sleep? Do you deserve to sleep? Are you the daughter of a highly influential father or the wife of a wealthy husband? If you aren’t born into that privilege, don’t presume to enjoy it! Anyone else who wants to sleep, get out now!"
Everyone’s drowsiness vanished instantly.
Purple’s face darkened, her hand tightly clutching her pen, swallowing her anger.
Her good mood from the early morning plummeted in an instant.
When the class ended, Victoria Morrison began packing up her lesson plan to leave the classroom. Purple approached her and asked, "Mrs. Morrison, do you have some kind of misunderstanding about me?"
Victoria Morrison looked up, her gaze cold, "Misunderstanding? I don’t know Ms. Simonson personally. How could there be any misunderstanding?"
"If there is none, that’s more than good," Purple said. "Then please refrain from mocking me in class from now on."
"Have I mocked you? Did I mention your name?" Victoria Morrison sneered, "Perhaps Ms. Simonson feels guilty and is projecting? If you have an issue with me, you’re welcome to file a complaint at the Academic Affairs Office. I’ll be there to meet it!"
With that, she picked up her lesson plan and left the classroom.
Surrounding stares fell upon Purple, filled with both sympathy for her and others who took pleasure in her misfortune.
Norton Young came over, his concern evident as he asked, "Are you alright?"
Purple shook her head, glanced at him, and said helplessly, "I’m fine, but it seems Mrs. Morrison has quite a big prejudice against me."
Norton Young glanced outside, saw that Victoria Morrison had walked far away, and said in a low voice to Purple, "Hang in there. Her class is compulsory, and without enough credits, you won’t be able to graduate."
Purple was well aware of this and nodded, stifling her grievances.
No student wanted to oppose a teacher; that would be tantamount to sabotaging their own future.
Having felt aggrieved at school, Purple couldn’t help but show a trace of resentment when she got home. Alexander Summers noticed and asked her, "Who bullied you at school?"
Purple felt it was a minor issue and didn’t want to talk about it, especially since Alexander was about to head to Pearlpoint and had his own matters to attend to.
Alexander’s gaze sharpened, his eyebrows raising, "If you don’t tell me, I can send someone to find out. Anyone who dares to bully you is asking for trouble."
Purple smiled wryly, "Really, it’s nothing! There’s just a teacher who’s quite strict, and I’m worried about not earning enough credits for the term."
Alexander’s gaze was scrutinizing as he asked, "Are you sure it’s nothing?"
"I’m sure it’s nothing," Purple said with a smile, "and even if something did happen, I would handle it myself!"
Then she muttered softly to herself, "If going to school also requires my husband’s concern, then I’d really be useless..."
Alexander heard her, laughed heartily, and reached out to pinch her cheek, saying, "It’s not that you’re useless, it’s that I want to dote on you, and no one can stop me!"
With that, he eagerly pinned her down on the bed and kissed her passionately, as if he wanted to love her fiercely.
But it had been too frequent lately, and Purple couldn’t help but protest, "It’s not even dark yet..."
Alexander’s hands had already undone the buttons and slipped in, touching that layer of soft, slick skin. His breathing turned instantly rough and heated, his voice tender and suggestive, "Purple, I’m leaving soon..."
He was about to go to Pearlpoint City.
While transportation was easy, they would still be living apart.
Thinking of his imminent departure, and his persistence about children, Purple’s heart softened, and so did her body...
