Fortunate to Have You This Lifetime-Chapter 991: Going Out_1
Chapter 991: Chapter 991: Going Out_1
——She wasn’t pregnant.
It seemed to be a given, yet there was a faint sense of disappointment in her heart.
Although she verbally expressed reluctance to attend classes with a bulging belly, deep down she harbored the same hope as Alexander for the fruit of their love.
Purple held out the pregnancy test stick to Alexander, and the result was that she was put through a thorough ordeal twice that same night.
Afterward, Purple was so exhausted that she didn’t even want to move her fingers, letting Alexander stuff a pillow under her waist, saying it helped with conception.
The night was quiet; Alexander carefully held her in his arms, the two of them whispering to each other.
"Purple, do you want a boy or a girl?"
"Either is fine... What about you? Do you prefer boys or girls?"
"I like girls."
"What if I have a boy?"
"We’ll just keep trying."
"..."
Alexander chuckled and said, "Girls can be spoiled in any way, but boys can’t. If you spoil a boy too much, I worry he’ll become arrogant; if not enough, I worry he’ll be timid and weak. It’s never quite right with boys, but girls are just adorable, whether soft and shy or willful and brash..."
The little woman in his arms was breathing gently and did not respond.
"Purple?" Alexander called softly. frёewebηovel.cѳm
Purple had fallen asleep.
Alexander’s thin lips slightly curled up, and he too closed his eyes.
...
In the morning, Purple got out of bed and got ready.
She woke up a bit late, hastily ate some breakfast, and rushed to school.
When she arrived at the school, the bell had just rung, Purple ran all the way to the classroom door, and saw the teacher was already inside.
Purple stepped into the classroom, and the teacher suddenly shot a cold glare at her: "Out!"
Purple froze, stopping right where she stood.
Another student rushed hurriedly into the classroom behind her, but the teacher turned a blind eye.
Purple, completely baffled, furrowed her brows and walked into the classroom, about to take her seat, when the teacher suddenly slammed the lesson plan onto the desk!
"Are you deaf? I told you to get out!"
Everyone in the classroom turned to look at Purple.
Purple’s face turned red, and she defiantly asked, "Why do I have to go out?"
"You’re late!" the teacher said indifferently, "I said yesterday that if you want to take my class, you have to follow my rules! In my classroom, no one is allowed to be late! Either come on time, or don’t come at all!"
Purple’s face filled with indignant anger, "What about the person just now? He was late too, why is he allowed in?"
"He’s here on a poverty scholarship, has classes during the day, and works at night. He rents a room in the distant suburbs and has to get up at five every morning. Being a minute or two late is certainly understandable." The teacher gave her a derisive once-over and sneered, "And you, Ms. Simonson, if you’re too tired, then go back and rest. And don’t forget to straighten your collar when you leave; no one here wants to know how intense your skirmish last night was."
The words were loaded with sarcasm, and the class erupted in laughter.
Purple’s face turned white as she immediately covered one side of her collar, knowing there must have been a love mark showing.
Hearing the laughter of the students in the class, the teacher’s smile deepened, and with disdain, glanced at Purple and said, "Please leave, don’t disrupt the others’ learning."
Purple pursed her lips and, with a cold face, sat down.
Seeing her unswayed, the teacher’s smile faded, "Purple Summers Simonson, please leave!"
"Why should I?" A layer of frost appeared in Purple’s eyes, "Students have the right to education, and a teacher has the duty to teach and resolve doubts. As long as my presence doesn’t affect your teaching, you have no right to deprive me of my right to education! And, I don’t think making jokes and mocking a student’s private life in public is behavior befitting a qualified teacher!"
