Chapter 215: Silver Shadow is an Angelic Demon

Celestia’s POV:

I went to the cliff even before sunrise, mostly because I wanted to be alone. I sat down on the grassy edge of the cliff—and viewed the endless sea before me.

I wanted to stay here forever and keep on admiring the beauty of the sea waves drifting back and forth. This place always gives me peace!

As the sun slowly came up and warmed the land slightly, reality hit me. He made my own people think that I am a bloodlusty monster.

What hurt me the most was that even though I caught him, I wasn’t able to rip off his mask before others.

When the sun rays started to hit the ground, I got back to my feet and went to the tree shade. I missed the old days when I was able to stand under the sun for hours without getting exhausted.

Still, I didn’t want to go back to the castle. I would rather stay here and exhaust myself instead of facing others.

I shuddered every time I played that scene in my head—I kissed him while hundreds of eyes were watching me. How can he make me do something like this? He doesn’t even have an ounce of righteousness in his heart.

At that moment, I heard someone calling my name. "Celestia, where are you—"

I stiffed and looked in the direction of the voice. My four warrior friends and Darius had arrived here. I really didn’t want to face them.

I noticed that Edwin was carrying a goblet in his hand. I am scared for his soul; he has been slaying countless animals for my sake.

"How do you guys find me every time I try to stay hidden?" I asked them when they gathered in front of me.

"Because you always hideout in the same place...." Laris snapped. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"Probably—" I grunted. "But I would appreciate it if you guys leave me alone; I don’t want to talk about it—"

"No, Celestia. We are here to support you," Ember said.

"Yes, my friend," Laris interrupted. "We know what you are going through—and we are here for you. Just give me the word; I am ready to even capture that trickster Silver Shadow for you and make him kneel before you."

Vivian, who was standing next to him, chuckled a little and said, "You are incapable of even capturing a harmless stag from the forest of light. You say that you can capture an Anti-Angel?"

Laris glanced sideways at Vivian and gritted," Just a week ago, I destroyed a banshee by myself. Did you forget that?"

"No, you didn’t! I chopped the banshee’s hand with my ax—that made it easy for you to destroy it."

They started doing it again. Won’t they two get tired of fighting with each other over silly issues?

"My spear slew the banshee! You can’t take away the credit from me," Laris argued.

Usually, I laugh out loud at their silly arguments—but today, I was so gloomy even to talk. The others were frowning at their stupid argument, except for Darius, who turned scarlet in anger.

"Guys, if you two don’t stop now, then I won’t hesitate to throw you both into the sea—" Darius shouted. After that, they fell silent.

Then Darius took something shiny from his pocket. The shiny thing was scattering the sun rays in my direction and almost blinded my eyes. It took me a while to realize that the shiny thing is actually the golden orb.

He handed over the orb to me. Why is he giving me this? As soon as I touched the orb, I found myself feeling thirsty.

I glanced at the necks of all my friends. "Everyone, please step away from me," I shouted out.

This is exactly how I felt at the Chapel of Sun God. Is he around here? Is that why I am getting this insatiable thirst?

Then someone snatched away the golden orb from my hand. To my surprise, my thirst diminished a little after that.

Then Edwin came forward and gave me the goblet of blood to drink. All the little thirst that I had in me got quenched when I gulped the metallic liquid down my throat.

"Thank you so much, Edwin! You are a lifesaver."

It took me a moment to process everything that happened. I got thirsty once I touched the orb. Even when I was in the Sun Chapel, I got instigated only after I touched the orb.

I pointed my finger at the shiny orb that was in the hands of Darius now and screamed," Something is wrong with this orb! It is increasing my bloodlust every time I touch it—"

"We know about it, Celestia," Darius said and twisted the spherical orb a little. The orb got separated into two halves. Did he just break the Crown’s jewel?

Inside the orb, there was another sparkling thing; it was bluish in color. I have seen this stone before—but couldn’t remember where. It is really hard to recall the things that happened to me in my previous life.

"This moonstone was inside the orb—this enhanced your Half-Vampire capabilities," he said.

This is moonstone!!! I remember it now. Silver Shadow stole this from the caves a long time ago. And then he gave it to the Demon Princess Lilin as payment for teaching him the Demonic language.

So he must have retrieved the stone again from the Demon Princess—and used it to sabotage my coronation.

"This is all his plan," I said while I had my gaze on the glossy bluish stone. "Silver Shadow doesn’t want me to become the princess. That is why he disguised himself as Samuel’s son to stop the coronation—"

They all were stunned, except for Darius, who shouted out in euphoria and said, "I knew it! I knew he was Silver Shadow—but no one believed me."

"But that is impossible," Edwin interrupted. "How could Silver Shadow get in the Sun Chapel? Evil entities like him can’t enter the Holy place."

I let out a sigh and said, "I don’t know why you all are assuming that Silver Shadow is just a Demonic entity. You all forgot that he is an Angelic Demon—"
