Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 163: Am I in love or enchantment?

Theo’s POV:

For the next two days, I was hiding out in Amelia’s place as I didn’t want to face Cynthia. Amelia is the only one here who understands me. The rest of them are viewing me as if I am the Villain.

I stood next to the Tangerine’s golden cage that was on the windowpane and kept on watching her little movements. Whenever I think about Celestia, I come to this spot and look at her pet.

Lately, I have been thinking about her too much. So I have not moved away from this spot for the past two days. She is such a lovely bird!

At first, Tangerine didn’t seem to acknowledge me as I had hurt her once. She kept on ignoring my presence. After I spent the last two days explaining to her how much Celestia means to me, she seems to like me now!

Today she even accepted the food that I offered her. I wish that Celestia gives me another chance, just like her! If she does then, I would never leave her side, not even for one second.

"Are you going to spend all your eternity here?" Amelia arrived at the spot and questioned me.

"Maybe I will if she never acknowledges me!"

"Come on, Theo! She will come back to you in a heartbeat if you show up in front of her and explain yourself to her."

"I don’t think so," I sighed out. "She will never believe me again! I think that I have lost her completely to Oberon."

Amelia began to give me a pity glare and made me uncomfortable. At least she is not passively aggressive with me like Ivory and Cynthia!

"But Theo, you have to do something about this. You have to get her back!"

"Amelia, I can get her back if I want to. I have the power of Nephilim now. No one can stop me if I attack the castle of Highland and force Celestia to come with me! But I don’t want to hurt her again by forcing her."

She was about to say something to me, but at that moment, a lady with a blue crystal crown on her head appeared out of white fumes in Amelia’s living room.

"I knew that you would be here," Cynthia shouted at me. She then glanced at Amelia, who was shivering next to me. "You knew that I was looking for him. And you have the courage to keep him from me?"

"But my Queen, Theo needed a place to stay, and he pleaded with me not to mention it to you. I just tried to be a good hostess!"

The Siren Queen was still not convinced, and she kept on frowning at her. This is not going to end well! Once Cynthia loses her mind, then it is tough to bring her back to normal. They don’t call the Angry Queen for no reason!

"What you did is treason! So I am going to reprimand you for this," Cynthia roared out.

"No, you would do no such thing," I stepped in between them and said. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Cynthia’s gaze softened once she looked up at me. She might be tough on everyone else, but she always has a soft corner for me!

The other Siren girls say that she is kind to me because she has been seeing me since I was an infant. But she is not kind enough to let me make my own decisions!

"I told Amelia not to reveal that I am hiding here! If you want to reprimand her, then you would have to punish me before that."

"Theo," she breathed out and shook her head. "Why are you rebelling against me like this? You know that I forbid you from leaving the island for your own good. You can’t pursue Celestia again. It will only bring you more misery!"

I smirked at her statements and said, "When are you going to understand that I am ready to go through anything for her?"

She rolled her eyes at me and then glanced at Amelia, who was standing still next to me now.

"Amelia, is it possible that he is under some kind of enchantment or spell? Or else how could he have lost his senses?"

"My Queen," Amelia bowed down and let her strawberry blonde hair cover her face. "I am sorry to break this to you, but Theo is just in love with her. And there is no powerful enchantment than love in all three realms."

Amelia’s remarks confused Cynthia even more. I was confused too! Am I in love or enchantment? It doesn’t really matter anymore. Celestia is the only reality that I am meant to follow!

"So are you suggesting to me that I should do nothing when he risks his neck again?" Cynthia began to yell at her again. "We all know that Theo can’t defeat Oberon in a battle."

"Cynthia," I interrupted her. "What do you mean by ’I can’t defeat Oberon’? You know that I am more powerful than him! I can eradicate him in a heartbeat if I want."

"You can eradicate him in a heartbeat. But your heart is with that Fae girl Celestia! She would never let you harm Oberon, and you would never do anything to upset her. So I don’t think that you will ever be able to defeat Oberon."

I diverted my gaze away from her as I realized that she was not wrong! If Celestia cries and pleads with me to not harm Oberon, then I will definitely do anything to make her stop crying at that moment, even if it means that I should spare Oberon.

"And that is why I want you to forget that Fae girl. She is no good for you! Last time, Oberon used her as bait to defeat you. And he would definitely do something like that again!"

She was right again. Oberon is using Celestia as his armor and bait. That lame King Oberon is extremely shameless! The funny thing is that the entire realm sees him as a righteous person.

At that moment, white most appeared in the living room again. This time Ivory emerged from it.

"My Queen, please come to the seashore. A man has trespassed into our island!"
