Forever Destined to the Silver Shadow-Chapter 135: Have faith in me, My Love....

Celestia’s POV:

The once glossy grey dead rock cage was now completely melted up by my fire.

"Theo," I screamed out and stepped closer to him.

I crouched down on the ground beside him and held his hand. He still didn’t open his eyes. Perhaps I should also release him from his chains.

I was about to do that, but I froze when I saw an odd sky blue color symbol on his left forearm. That symbol was so familiar to me! I have seen it before in the manuscripts.

The symbol had three elements. So it must represent three things?!!! One of the elements in it was a chalice. I was sure about that. On top of the chalice symbol, there was an ’X’ drawn over it. Below that chalice, there was an inverted triangle.

I didn’t know what the inverted triangle represented. But the symbol X represents vitality, and the chalice represents the sacred feminine. What does all of this mean?

When I was staring at the unknown symbol, Theo moaned out and slowly opened his eyes. "My love... Celestia," he said my name with much difficulty.

I came back to my senses after that. What was I doing? Instead of releasing him, I got distracted by the strange symbol on his forearm.

"I am sorry, Theo. I will free you now," I said and loosened the chain that was tied around his torso.

"I knew that you would come for me," he said in a weak tone. Seeing him in a fragile condition like this was odder to me than the symbol on his hand. He is usually full of energy, like a ray of sunshine.

His skin got less pale as soon as I freed him from his chains. Soon he got up from the cold ground. He then balled one of his fists and produced silver flames.

"It’s good to have them back," he sighed and then looked at me.

He took me in his arms and pressed my mouth with his. I had a lot of questions in my mind that I needed to ask him. Where was he before this? How did my father imprison him here? Why did he leave me right after he made love with me?

For a moment, it seemed like none of those things actually mattered. Just with the touch of his lips on mine, I got solace. I didn’t want to part my lips from him.

He was gone for so many days, and I have finally found him. I missed him so much! I wrapped my arms around his bare torso and pulled him even closer to me.

His body was so cold to feel. Usually, he gives me warmth whenever I touch him. Perhaps the cool atmosphere of the dungeon is making me feel like this!

After a minute, we both had to part our lips as we were running out of breath. Now I can ask him all of my questions.

"Theo, why did you leave me?" I asked him.

He placed his hands over my cheeks and said, "I didn’t want to leave you either, my love. But the circumstances forced me to do it."

"What circumstances?" I screamed out. " What is happening here? Would you please give me an explanation?"

Theo shook his head and grinned slightly. Even with a little smile, dimples formed on his cheeks.

"I am sorry, Celestia. I have to leave you again now. I can’t be able to give you an explanation, nor do I have time to answer your questions."

"What?" I screamed out so loud that my words reflected back and echoed out many times. " How can you just leave me again? You have to stay with me!"

"Yes, I will," he said and gently caressed my cheek. "I belong to you forever, my love. I will definitely come back to you."

He took a step away from me. "No...." I screamed. " Please don’t leave me, Theo! I am begging you. It is tough for me to survive even a single day without you. So I am begging you! Would you please take me wherever you are going?"

"No," he shouted out loud. "I can’t take you with me! It is not safe for you to be there."

It is not safe for me?!! What is he saying? " I am the Dawn," I began to sob. " How can some place be unsafe for me?"

Tears flowed down from my eyes like a stream. I can’t take this anymore! Theo is the only one who understands me. The rest of them always give me a hard time.

Even my father doesn’t acknowledge me. If he leaves me alone here, I will definitely go insane for sure. How can I rule the Lowlands all by myself?!

My tears always had the effect of melting his heart. He began to pity me as he saw me crying. As usual, he placed his palm below my cheek and caught my teardrops.

They became pearls as soon as they fell on his palm. "Please don’t cry, my love! I am already heartbroken that I am obligated to leave you. You are making it worse for me by crying like this," he said.

"Then don’t leave me," I gasped and tried to stop my sobs. "I promise that I will never cry again if you don’t leave me now!"

"My love, please have faith in me! I will defeat all our opponents and come back to you. After that, we both never have to part again."

"But, why can’t I come with you?"

"You trust me, don’t you?" Theo asked me in a serious tone.

"I trust you more than my life," I confessed.

"Then leave everything in my hands, Celestia. I will take care of all our enemies! You go back to the Lowlands and tell Queen Cynthia about this."

He moved away from me after I stopped crying. I noticed that he had collected plenty of my white pearls in his hand this time.

"No matter what happens, don’t trust the lame King Oberon," he said and disappeared in white mist.

"Theo......." I began to weep again.
