Ellen paused for a while, figuring out why Overlord Xiaomao denied the fate crystal. She finally understood him.

"No matter what you do, you cannot ascend. The karma rivers of this universe curse you."

Xiaomao nodded, "Yes. That's why it's better to make a transcendent killing weapon instead of unlocking new talents. Also, if I can choose its owner, I can even pass it down to my successor… or my next reincarnation."

"Fine." Lucky surprised everybody, "I'll accept the offer and join your forces, but I want another true heavenly fate crystal. I know you have more!"

"Alright." Priscilla tossed another crystal at Overlord Lucky without hesitation.

The wolf received it and consumed both. He closed his eyes and digested the two systems.

Two system screens appeared in front of Lucky, and everybody around him could see them. Xiaomao glanced at them and let out a sigh.

One was a typical leveling system with upgradable classes, attribute points, and weird conditional system skills. As for the other system, it was named "Dantian Eater".

Xiaomao had a bad feeling about this while Ellen and Priscilla's expressions were indifferent. After all, Overlord Lucky was a weak entity like Xiaomao, who couldn't pose a threat to them after the war.

Overlord Lucky sneered at Xiaomao, "Just you wait, Nu'Earthe. After the war, we'll settle this!"

Xiaomao shook his head, "Focus on our plan first."

Xiaomao was patient. He paced his breath and muttered.

"Sin of Gluttony… Devour them all."

RUMBLE

The stars in his dantian universe transformed into catfish, giant Cathulhus, and cute cat-octopi. They rushed toward the black Qi and devoured them.

The tiny creatures gnawed and swallowed the Qi of the transcendent being. Many exploded because of the backlashes, but no one showed fear. Instead, they ate the black Qi faster.

Some of the creatures bloated after they were full. A few seconds later, they split into two and two into four like one-cell microorganisms. The separated creatures then transformed into stars, replenishing the lost cultivation base.

That was not the end of Xiaomao's ability. He uttered another word.

"Sin of Sloth… Go to sleep."

The flow of Qi decelerated and slowly stopped circulating inside him. Moreover, Xiaomao inserted his Qi into his fishing rod and sent them toward the monster whale.

"Sin of Wrath… KILL!"

Xiaomao's white Qi turned red and traveled through the sea of black Qi like a bright ray of light in the dark. Instantly, it pierced into Overlord Planet Devourer's body.

The person's aura was bright, oppressive, and domineering like a dragon.

That was not all. Ellen detected the life signature of a transcendent being close by. Moreover, it had the same scent as Priscilla.

She had met that man before at the Fate Stadium. She recognized him well.

The newly upgraded sky fate crystal changed color once again. It turned blue this time.

Leo glanced at the clock and remembered the time. It was 1.19 PM.

"1.19 PM? Noted."

Leo tilted his head left and right before he cut his left palm with his nail. As soon as he cut it, a branch of a transparent tree came out and sprouted a purple leaf.

He plucked the branch and rubbed his wound, which was healed instantly. Leo then stored the small branch and the leaf away.

Leo snickered and shook his head. He liked the new ability.

"I should have searched for this thing earlier. This is such a HAX. Who would have thought that I could upgrade fate crystals twice a day by eating a stupid leaf? And what the hell, my body can reproduce that same leaf, too! I eat, I create, and I upgrade! What a cheat… Oh, wait. Should I start farming fate crystals? Can I plant these branches and let them grow more leaves? Hmm."

Leo stroked his chin and looked at the ceiling again. When he gazed beyond the ceiling, he saw the bright stars in the universe.

Looking at the stars reminded Leo of a snooper earlier. He stopped pondering about his future business plan and gazed further into the void.

Thinking of the previous giant whale, Leo thought of the loot that he got from it. He salivated, wondering what he might get if he could kill more monsters of the same type.

Leo focused his eyes and spread his sense far and wide, scanning the universe. A 3D hologram map appeared in Leo's mind like a radar, mapping the universe.

Within 10 seconds, the whole map of the universe was completed. He also detected the movements of space entities, spaceships, and objects.

Seeing everything in his mind was exhilarating. He felt like a kid learning about stars and spaces for the first time.

Unfortunately, his excitement died when he found a grand battle between super experts at the center of the universe. A flesh-like whale monster, bigger than the one Leo had met, was trapped by a group of phoenixes.

Leo also found Priscilla, Ellen, and Lucky. What surprised him the most was the presence of Overlord Xiaomao, who had the same look as one of his golems – Aslan.

'That man.'

The face of his obnoxious father overlapped with the overlord. At first, Leo disregarded the overlord as someone with the same face. However, when he saw the troubled expression of Xiaomao, Leo's expression changed.

It reminded him that his father had gone missing again. That scheming golem went off somewhere, and Leo hadn't seen him in the past week. He wondered if Aslan was in the battle.

"Dammit!"

Without hesitation, he teleported, traveling through material objects and the void toward the battle scene.

Meanwhile, Aslan was inside the cow level. As the cows overpopulated this realm, he worked hard to cull them, preventing the monsters from invading Leo's realm.
