Floating Islands: SSS Gacha Lord-Chapter 383 - Eclipse Dominion
There was a break of several days before the next battle would take place. Not because of any delay from the system, but rather... perhaps because Bolin needed time to recover from the crushing defeats he had suffered in the first two battles.
Whatever the reason, Atlas used this quiet period to return to his usual routines. Ensuring Serenith continued supplying mana to the egg, and working with the Void Core, though he still hadn’t made much progress on that front.
He also spent most of his time with Vienne, making her his main focus during the break.
There was still no word from Lyrassa. She remained sealed within her cocoon, and no one knew whether she would stay inside for the entire duration of the Dominion Convergence. It had already been over a month, nearly two.
Still, Atlas had achieved two monumental victories. Both Gwyndelle and Variel had grown significantly stronger as a result. They gained vast resources from their wins, along with the enemy troops and assets now placed under their control.
Though neither of them would be assigned to another battle again in this event. The rewards they had secured would serve as an extraordinary advantage for the future.
Even if their system abilities were only classified as A-Rank, the sheer volume of resources and forces they now commanded would more than make up for that limitation. Turning them into invaluable assets for Atlas’s growing dominion.
Another battle was about to begin. Atlas once again found himself in the same floating patch of land, with Bolin already there, standing tall with a confidence he had clearly managed to rebuild during the break.
Bolin stepped forward, his chin lifted slightly, arrogance once again etched across his face.
"Don’t get too proud of your first two victories," he said with a sneer. "You know we still have plenty of battles ahead. And you know what... did you really think I wouldn’t notice that you’ve been lending your forces to other lords?"
The old man smirked, suppressing a laugh that trembled on his lips. "You’ve made a fatal mistake, Atlas. You’ll suffer a massive loss because of your arrogance! You’ve underestimated this entire war!"
As he finished speaking, Bolin flicked another shining coin across the virtual table, signaling the start of the next match.
This time, it would be Nysera’s turn to defend.
Nysera possessed the ability known as Eclipse Dominion. She could envelop the entire battlefield in darkness, weakening the energy flow of her enemies while strengthening all forces attuned to shadow or night.
Her system ability was SS-Rank. A rarity of overwhelming power.
This would be a completely new level of battle. Atlas knew just how formidable Nysera could be, not only in defense but in full-scale warfare. She had the power to control the entire environment - to reshape the battlefield itself into a massive domain of her own creation.

Just as the next battle was about to begin, Atlas could clearly see the image of Nysera’s island appear on the massive screen. It was... dark. So dark that it was difficult to describe properly.
The island was covered in trees that seemed to have been consumed by dark energy for far too long. Even though it was broad daylight, the entire island radiated an eerie shadowed aura that swallowed the light around it.
The structures scattered across the island were complex. Towers, metallic fortifications, and domed halls forged from dark steel. The architecture looked sturdy and efficient, yet it carried a heavy, foreboding atmosphere, every surface marked by shades of black and deep violet.
On the screen, Nysera herself came into view, standing at the forefront of her army. Behind her, hundreds of soldiers waited in disciplined formation, their armor glinting faintly under the dim glow that lingered across the island.
She was... the Shadow-Elf Twinblade Assassin.
She was an elf, but of a rare subrace. Her kind bore the unmistakable traits of the Dark Element: pale gray skin with a faint bluish tint, sharp narrow eyes that glimmered with a cold focus, and long, pointed ears. Her hair, jet-black and tied in a single high ponytail, swayed lightly in the air.
She wore a compact assassin’s robe of dark charcoal fabric with a high collar, tailored for mobility and precision. In her hands, she held two short, curved black-steel blades.
The battle began!
From every direction, swirling portals burst open around Nysera’s island. Some high in the sky, others forming across the ground. From within them emerged wave after wave of enemy troops, many mounted on enormous beasts that resembled armored horses. Some galloped through the air while others charged swiftly across the terrain below.
"Oh, they really do have a lot of lords capable of commanding beasts in such massive numbers," Atlas murmured under his breath.
Edrik, standing just behind him, nodded in agreement. "It seems they’ve mastered resource and force distribution quite efficiently, my lord."
"I can see that," Atlas replied with a faint smirk. "And I think we should learn to distribute our strength just as effectively. There’s a lot to take from this."
The battlefield erupted in chaos. Roars of beasts and the shouts of soldiers echoed across the sky. Loud enough to be heard even from where Atlas and the others stood above.
But then... a sudden, thunderous impact shook the air.
Bolin’s eyes widened. "What was that?" he muttered.
A massive domain had just formed. Swiftly expanding and enveloping the entire island. Within seconds, it had trapped both Nysera’s defending forces and the attacking army inside a colossal dome.
Darkness consumed everything. The interior was so completely shrouded in shadow that even the massive screen above could no longer display what was happening inside.
Bolin leaned over the edge of the floating platform, trying to catch a glimpse of the battle below. But no matter how hard he strained to see, the darkness offered no hint of what was taking place.
Only those within the island. Only those inside Nysera’s Eclipse Dominion knew the truth of what was unfolding in that pitch-black abyss!
