Floating Islands: SSS Gacha Lord-Chapter 349 - Let the Leviathan Sleep
The monster roared violently, its massive jaws opening wide as streams of molten lava blasted out in every direction. The fiery torrents struck against the barrier Dullorak had created, but the dome held strong.
Then, the counterattack began. Arrows, mana guns, and magic spells filled the air. In this raid, everyone had to contribute, no matter how small their damage output might be. Even the workers had been ordered by Atlas to join the assault, lending every bit of force they could muster.
The reward from this raid boss would be shared among all participants, and even a small contribution meant valuable experience points.
The monster thrashed in frustration, its massive body shaking as blows struck from every direction. It was clearly feeling the pressure. Though not yet enough to truly harm it. Still, the sheer scale of the attack was staggering.
Atlas had brought nearly nine hundred people into this raid, combatants and workers combined. All united in one purpose, surrounding the colossal creature and raining destruction upon it from every possible angle.

Atlas immediately merged with Zefyros, whose armor shifted in appearance as currents of water surged violently around his entire body. A heartbeat later, Atlas shot upward, propelled through the air as if the storm itself had given him wings.
With the torrential rain and dense water particles filling the air, his movement felt effortless. Almost like swimming through the sky, guided by Zefyros’s water element ability.
From above, he watched as the monster unleashed another wave of molten fury, spewing a massive stream of lava toward one side of the dome. Atlas’s eyes widened when he noticed dozens of people gathered at that very spot.
The impact came with a thunderous crack. The glowing barrier trembled violently.
Dullorak’s protective dome was giving way. It could no longer hold!
At that very moment, the dome finally cracked open. The raging blast of molten lava tore through the breach, surging straight toward the dozens of people clustered below.
Several tankers rushed forward instinctively, raising their shields and activating protective barriers. Ten of them stood in formation, bracing for impact. But even then, it was clear they wouldn’t be enough to withstand such power.
Then Selvara darted ahead. A massive wall of water burst forth in front of the defenders, colliding with the torrent of lava. Steam exploded in every direction, hissing violently as the two elements clashed.
Still, the wall began to falter.
Dullorak immediately flew toward the breach, his ten heads chanting in unison as he reinforced the barrier, adding another layer of water pressure to hold back the inferno.
Down below, a lone figure sprinted across the molten pool as if the surface were solid ground. Atlas’s eyes narrowed in recognition, it was Karian.
He moved with impossible speed, leaping high into the air and landing above the monster’s massive head. With a powerful spin, he struck downward, slamming into the creature’s skull and forcing the lava cannon attack to cease midstream.
A heartbeat later, a set of chain blades shot out and wrapped around the monster’s enormous jaws. Kurogasa had joined the fray, straining to hold the creature in place. But the monster’s strength was overwhelming. It jerked violently, lifting Kurogasa off the ground.
In midair, Kurogasa split into multiple shadow forms, each one darting across the monster’s body in a blur of motion, slashing in synchronized strikes that left glowing lines of damage along its molten hide. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
A blazing figure suddenly shot through the air. Flames whirled wildly around it. Everburn, the invisible skeleton, had joined the battle. He unleashed a massive torrent of fire toward the monster, his inferno roaring loud enough to rival the creature’s own lava breath.
Chaos filled the shared mind chat almost immediately.
"Burny, you do realize your fire won’t hurt that thing, right?!"
"Get out of there, Burny, before you get roasted by the lava!"
"Hahaha!" Everburn’s laughter echoed back through the link. "Sorry, I just wanted to join the fun! Let this monster—"
His words cut off abruptly as one of the swirling lava pillars smashed into him, sending his blazing form flying across the battlefield and out of sight.
Atlas couldn’t help but smile faintly at the scene, despite the danger.
Then his expression hardened.
"Let’s end this," he said firmly. "Full damage, all at once!"
At that moment, the battlefield erupted in a storm of pure destruction. Every fighter unleashed their full power.
Raze suddenly shot upward. He slammed into the monster’s upper jaw, grabbing hold and pounding it with a flurry of brutal punches. The monster howled, thrashing wildly as it tried to shake him off.
Atlas gritted his teeth, summoning everything he had. Lightning began to swarm around him like living serpents.

With a roar, Atlas dived downward. The storm itself seemed to follow him. Bolts of lightning from every corner of the sky converged into his spear, fusing into one blinding current of energy. Explosions of thunder rippled through the air as he accelerated.
With both his own lightning and the natural storm feeding into his power, his attack’s strength multiplied beyond anything he had ever unleashed before.
But the monster was far from helpless. Massive lava pillars burst from the pool, twisting upward like burning serpents, forcing Atlas to veer sharply and spiral through the chaos. He dodged one, two, then dove lower again. Straight toward his target.
Just as he closed in, the monster opened its mouth wide, gathering searing magma for a counterblast.
Raze was faster. He slammed his fist into the monster’s jaw, holding it open while Kurogasa’s kusarigama chains shot through the air, wrapping tightly around the creature’s jaws and forcing them shut.
That was all Atlas needed.
He pulled on the storm. Drawing dozens of lightning bolts down from the heavens like golden ropes!
Then came the impact.
The world seemed to stop for a single breath before a blinding explosion shattered the air. The sound was deafening, a thunderclap so immense it felt like the sky itself was breaking apart.
Atlas couldn’t withstand the recoil; the shockwave hurled him backward through the rain, along with nearly everyone else nearby. He quickly regained his balance midair, stabilizing himself as he floated among the sheets of rain that poured endlessly from the storm above.
Below him, blast after blast shook the island. Lava pillars erupted in chaos, the entire volcano trembling as if it were about to burst.
And then... silence began to fall.
The lava’s light dimmed. The once-raging flames flickered out. The Lava Leviathan, its body scorched and fading, let out one final groan before collapsing back into the pool below.
A stream of system messages appeared before Atlas.
[One of the island’s rulers has been defeated.]
[Reward Distribution:
[ – All contributors receive 1,000,000 Experience Points.]
[ – An additional 500,000,000 Experience Points are shared among the top 100 highest damage contributors.]
[The island is now fully synchronized with your Interface. All monster positions, terrain sectors, and environmental variables can now be monitored directly through the system.]
The messages kept flashing before Atlas’s eyes until the final notification faded. Then he descended through the heavy rain, landing near the fallen monster’s body that now lay motionless atop the solidified lava.
Baldric and several others were already there.
"My lord, this thing’s body is huge," Baldric said with a grin. "We could probably cook the meat. I’m sure everyone will love it!"
Orren, the chef, stepped forward next. "This will be enough to feed everyone on the island, my lord. The meat carries a strong vitality. Stamina buffs for days, and it could even boost fire-element resistance and attack temporarily."
"Nice, I think that’s a great idea," Atlas replied.
The downpour was so heavy that speaking felt like shouting through a waterfall. "What about the other parts, Baldric?"
"My lord," Baldric answered quickly, "the teeth, scales, and claws can all be reforged into weapons or armor. So yeah, we’ve got plenty of resources from this one."
Just then, a deep rumble echoed from the distance. Raze, still in his transformed form and not yet reverted to Milo, was charging back across the battlefield. He must have been thrown far earlier during the fight.
Everyone watched as he approached the monster’s corpse. Without hesitation, he grabbed the creature’s massive jaw and pulled.
A sharp, cracking sound echoed across the island as the Leviathan’s entire body was wrenched free from the hardened lava pool. Raze didn’t stop there. He kept dragging it forward, step by heavy step, until even the monster’s enormous tail came fully into view.
"Nice, Raze! Good job, hahaha!" Baldric roared, raising his hand in triumph.
At that moment, Edrik approached Atlas, bowing slightly before pointing toward something in the distance. Atlas followed his gesture ,and there it was.
A massive golden chest, standing solid on the hardened lava. It had appeared the instant the monster had fallen.
"Nice," Atlas said. "Let’s see what kind of reward this monster left for us."
