Flirted Wrong, Married Right-Chapter 74: Are You a Devil?
"Give it to me." James Grantβs tone was as flat as if he was discussing what to eat tonight.
"Pfftβ" πππππ¨π²πππ¨π―ππ.ππΌπΊ
Olivia Calder couldnβt hold it in.
James Grant really went extreme, wonβt this just enrage Amber Whitman?
Realizing it, Evelyn Clayton almost couldnβt suppress her smile and immediately handed over the exquisitely wrapped gift box with tender affection.
"James, this is the first gift Iβm giving you, be sure to keep it well!"
James Grant took it with both hands, his slightly cold eyes softening a bit, "Thank you, I really like it."
"Brother James, have you gone crazy?!" Amber Whitman was so angry she stomped her feet.
"Still donβt get it? Then I can only say you deserve to be single." Olivia Calder clicked her tongue in wonder, "Young Master Grant really pulled a smooth one! Seems like all those past relationships werenβt in vain."
He used to just be known for charming women, who knew he could also infuriate them.
James Grant didnβt deny it, extending his hand to wrap around Vivian Claytonβs waist, "Letβs go back."
"Mm."
Amber Whitman finally bumped into them, how could she just let James Grant walk away like this?
Her heart hardened, and she blocked their path.
"Brother James, my dad and the others donβt like her, do you want to reconsider? If you insist on marrying her, the Whitman Family might not attend your wedding... that would be quite embarrassing, right?"
Using the Whitman Family as leverage, James Grant wasnβt going to be indifferent.
Even though their ethical relation made it impossible for them to be together, she wouldnβt watch James Grant marry Vivian Clayton!
Mrs. Grant could be anyone, but it absolutely couldnβt be Vivian Clayton!
But unexpectedly, James Grant just curled his lips into a cold smile, "Oh? Then Iβll have someone send wedding candy to the Whitman Family. Make sure to eat it."
With that, James Grant completely ignored Amber Whitmanβs ugly expression and left with his arm around Vivian Claytonβs shoulder.
Behind them, Amber Whitmanβs jealous face twisted, her nails nearly tore off.

Back at the company, James Grant took her to his office.
"Start designing the logo."
"James Grant, are you a devil? Canβt you let me catch my breath?" Evelyn Clayton frowned.
"Iβm your fiancΓ©, and your boss." James Grant spoke as if it was only natural.
"Tyrant!"
Vivian Clayton cursed under her breath, resignedly picking up her pen to draw.
James Grant sat on the sofa watching her diligently working back, "Donβt take Amber Whitmanβs words to heart. My uncle spoiled her, she blurts out anything without thinking."
"What words?" Vivian Clayton looked up at him in confusion.
She hadnβt even paid attention to Amber Whitmanβs rantings.
"Itβs about the Whitman Familyβs attitude. Marrying you is my decision, and it wonβt change because of anyone elseβs attitude."
"Ah, that." Vivian Clayton waved it off nonchalantly, "Othersβ attitudes arenβt my concern, handle it yourself, just donβt cause a scene at our wedding."
"Okay. Iβll also make it clear to Amber Whitman to keep her distance."
Vivian Clayton didnβt look back, "Her adoration for you is understandable, why be so cold?"
Her tone was as casual as discussing an insignificant matter.
James Grant frowned slightly.
"Let me remind you, Amber Whitman is technically your love rival, you shouldnβt be so indifferent."
Vivian Clayton put down her pen, looking at him seriously, "Let me remind you, weβre only in a contractual engagement. This engagement doesnβt require me to feel jealous or upset about your admirers."
"..."
James Grant was at a loss for words.
Vivian Clayton thought he was just taking the act too seriously.
"James Grant, you need to hone your acting skills a bit more."
Upon hearing this, James Grantβs face darkened like ink, and he got up to leave for the door.
"Where are you going?" Willow Jacobs asked.
