Flip the Coin [BL]-Chapter 324 - 234. Time and Place 1
Henry’s POV
Where is Kenny?
"I can’t believe our luck." A man said.
Kenny, Kenny, find Kenny.
"You call that luck?" Someone else answered.
I couldn’t open my eyes; I seemed to have broken a few ribs that were already in the midst of healing, but I didn’t care one fucking bit either way.
KennyKennyKennyKenny.
Dazed, I wanted to wrap my hands with shadowy energy to kill the two men that were talking, only to get an electroshock sent through my body, a much stronger one than I had experienced while being in Dr. Carell’s ’care’, nearly sending me into unconsciousness and paralyzing my now tremoring body.
"DAMN!" The first man screamed.
I fell to the ground, on the earth; it seemed that I had been carried.
"What was that?" The second asked.
"I got shocked! WHAT THE HELL?"
"CALM DOWN!" The other reproached.
"If you make a scene here, they will discover these two, and what then?"
"Is he awake?"
I felt a kick, and because I was unable to move, they seemed convinced enough.
"No, maybe the restrictor on him acted out."
KennyKennyKenny.
"It hurt, damn it; I am not going to touch that guy anymore."
"I’ll do it."
My arm was grabbed, and I was dragged over the ground.
Kenny was near, judging by what they were talking about. I made sure to remember their voices because they were clearly enthusiastic for a future meeting.
I was thrown into a hole, my body still trembling from the shock, but when I opened my eyes, I could see Kenny, who lay on his stomach, and he was breathing.
Found you.
He had a collar around his neck, just like I apparently had.
It suited him; it would stop him from using his powers and leaving, but it didn’t come from me, which got me fucking furious.
"So, what did you mean by luck?" I heard the two guys continue their talk, standing at the edge of the hole, looking at us as if we were being paraded for them.
I had never thought this would happen to us after we had acquired our powers.
If it had only happened to me, I would have found it refreshing, but because it happened to Kenny, it was a whole other matter.
"Don’t you get sarcasm? We are fucked. Do you even know who these two guys are?"
"The saviors of the south district. I have internet as well." They turned around and walked away, but I could still hear them.
"They are righteous, and they are powerful. They will only make problems and disrupt the director’s plans. If that happens, then our asses are on the line."
"Won’t they wake up sooner or later?"
"Hopefully the restriction will stop them from doing something stupid."
"Can a human even wear that?"
"No idea; let’s hope for the best."
"What if the electroshocks kill them?"
"They won’t. These two are monsters; didn’t you hear the rumors? But most importantly: You and I have never been here, and we know nothing about them, got it?"
"You don’t have to tell me."
They didn’t talk after that, and soon they had left the range in which I could listen in anyway.
Raising my still numb and trembling hand, I fumbled around, trying to find his.
I was, just like him, lying on my stomach, so I couldn’t see where I was groping. Finally, I clasped his hand and felt for his pulse.
He was fine. Just unconscious.
We weren’t invincible; I had to keep that in mind in the future.
Time passed by while I watched Kenny go from unconsciousness into a sleeping state; he looked so peaceful—another sign that the merging did wonders for him, just like he had said.
If the crystalline figures could act as a shield, then maybe they could shield him from the giant and his memories. I would have to watch him for a few more nights to confirm it, though. If he could really sleep peacefully and stop the sleepwalking, then maybe I could forgive him for disappearing on me.
Because if he hadn’t come to this place, his counterpart wouldn’t have merged with him.
Feeling the strength return, I let go of his hand and sat up to pull him to me and cradle him in front of my body.
I waited for him to wake up naturally, not interested in anything that was going on with the director and this world.
It would be better if they wrapped up whatever they were doing here and left us behind.
Then I would have him all to myself.
I buried my nose in his hair, in his neck, but even that wasn’t enough anymore.
Kenny, if you used my body to stay sane while fighting the giant, can I do the same? Because I feel like I am losing it right now.
I opened his training jacket and pulled his arms out of it, hearing a paper rustle.
Checking it, I found the square of a paper—the last page of my letter.
You really...
When I found him naked, he got himself clothes, and it seemed he conjured up the jacket that had it in it, the one he had worn before my past self returned.
I placed his jacket on the ground and pulled his shirt over his head, roaming my hands over his chest, abdomen, and neck, over the beautiful painting that he was and that he added to himself.
A year apart, and yet it felt like an eternity.
I placed him on his shirt and jacket before crawling over him.
Look how peacefully you are sleeping, totally unaware that it has been forever since I could even think of sleep.
I placed my lips on his neck, trailing down to his stomach before sucking and biting the body under me in the same places he had left his marks on me.
Did you have the same thoughts of obsession, possession, and love when you did this to my unmoving body? The same desire when you placed your lips on my skin?
I would be elated if that had been the case—fucking elated, Kenny.
I bit his chest, sucked on his nipple, and felt his body flinch; I felt him waking up.
The next second, an electric current shot through my body, coming from him.
I concentrated on his heartbeat that was right before me, and when I heard it beating just fine, I laughed.
"That was a shocker." Not at all as painful as the electric current before, more of a tease.
You are such a tease, Kenny.
You are so confused, but I don’t care.
There was something you promised me, so I let you push away and gave you a few seconds before demanding it.
"What promise?" He looked at me.
"I remember. So, tell me what you had seen in your vision. Show it to me." Leaning against the earth wall, I opened my arms to him.
"Damn you, no fucking way in hell!" He turned around.
"Let’s find out where we are and how to get rid of the collar." He wanted to glaze it over, put his shirt and jacket back on, and tap his chest pocket to feel the letter before he looked up at the hole.
It seemed that he really liked what I had written for him, which immensely satisfied me—but not enough to let him get away.
"I’m not joking. I want a reward. Now." I grabbed his hand and pulled him back down to me so that he fell onto my body.
"Henry, what the fuck? Now?"
"Now." I grabbed the back of his head and led him closer to me, taking a long look at those beautiful glaring red eyes, pecking his lips.
"Ever heard of the right time and place?" He chuckled.
"No, I haven’t. What’s that?" I mumbled while burying my face in his neck, feeling relieved by the weight of his body on me.
He laughed, and I continued with kisses and persuasions.
"Tell me what you have seen, word for word, action for action."
I entangled our tongues before whispering,
"You promised; please, just tell me. Nobody is here, nobody will see, nobody will know." If there were, I would have killed them before I had made my demands.
"Fuck." Kenny clenched his jaw, apparently defeated.
You can’t win against me, the reason being that I am far too desperate to let you.
I suppressed the thrill and anticipation I felt and asked him again.
"What did you see?"
