Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk-Chapter 828: Peach Bell Disappears Again
Nora Northwood extracted the name from the other party: Graham Jordan.
On the phone, she learned about the purchase of the apartment, perhaps not the whole picture, but she understood the gist.
Having acquired the information she wanted, she did not trouble Manager Jordan further.
After the call ended, Nora returned to the living room. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
The screen remained on the call log page, with the most recent entry being the call with Manager Jordan.
Early in the morning.
Jasper Sinclair’s biological clock woke him up on time, and he habitually reached out an arm, only to grasp at empty air.
Opening his eyes, he saw Nora curled up at the edge of the blanket, the gap between them big enough for another person to lie in.
He moved closer, and when the skin on the back of his hand touched Nora’s shoulder, it was ice-cold, likely because she hadn’t covered herself properly during the night.
He tucked the blanket tighter around Nora and turned off the alarm clock, wanting her to sleep a little longer.
Before Jasper could open the alarm clock interface, he noticed the call log from the early morning hours.
Why would Manager Jordan call in the middle of the night?
He hadn’t saved this number, but he remembered it.
Upon a closer look, it was a three and a half minute call, definitely answered by Nora.
No wonder, even sharing the same bed, she could be so far away from him...
Jasper decided to explain the situation with Manager Jordan to Nora after she woke up.
Afterward, the man left the living room.
Once outside, Jasper immediately returned the call.
Contacting him so late must mean something serious happened at Bayside Apartments.
When the call connected, Manager Jordan cautiously asked, "Is this Mr. Sinclair?"
"Yes, it’s me. What was the reason for calling last night?"
This time, Manager Jordan recounted exactly what had happened the night before.
The sudden situation not only remained unresolved, but had worsened.
The Bayside Apartment was occupied by The Jacobs Family, and Peach Bell was mercilessly thrown out.
Entrusted by others, Manager Jordan intended to settle her in a hotel and find a solution at dawn.
Unexpectedly, Peach, small in size, had quite a temper.
She left Bayside Apartment in a huff and warned Manager Jordan not to follow her.
In the middle of the night, Manager Jordan realized he couldn’t let her leave like that.
He called Peach multiple times, but nobody answered, and he endured the whole night without sleeping.
Upon learning of this, Jasper immediately contacted Liam Jacobs.
Liam had been busy recently with taking over company affairs, so he hadn’t paid much attention to Peach.
The current situation was that Peach’s whereabouts were unknown.
Liam worried that the trafficking group from before might come after Peach again, so he put aside his work and went out to search for his sister personally.
Jasper, understanding Liam’s concerns, couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.
After all, everything began because of The Sinclair Family.
He mobilized the security system and reviewed city-wide surveillance to find Peach’s whereabouts.
The surveillance near Bayside Apartments only captured Peach, disappearing at an intersection.
Beyond that was a blind spot for the cameras, and her whereabouts have remained unknown since.
The worst thing everyone feared had happened.
Even the police’s involvement didn’t reveal Peach’s whereabouts; it was as if she had vanished into thin air.
Liam contacted a few of Peach’s friends at her academy, but without exception, none of them had seen her.
"Bang—"
Jasper Sinclair took a solid punch to the face.
