Flash Marriage: She becomes Mrs. CEO after the Failed Dowry Talk-Chapter 806: The Phone Thrown Into the Back Garden
Nighttime.
Nora Northwood’s phone vibrated, one buzz after another.
Jasper Sinclair didn’t mean to invade her privacy, but the buzzing noise was enough to make his head ache.
His brows never relaxed, making him appear incredibly solemn.
He was just about to unlock it when the password entry failed...
Could it be that Nora discovered he deleted the call records behind her back?
As he pondered, another picture message popped up.
Due to the failed unlock attempt, Jasper could only see the numerals on the main screen without seeing the content inside.
The number seemed familiar... He took out his phone from the pocket of his trousers, and upon searching, he found it was Peach Bell’s number.
Just as Jasper was about to dial, the other party called Nora first.
The man didn’t hesitate for a second; he answered the call.
"Nora, did you see the pictures I sent you?" The girl’s tone was full of arrogance, treating others with disregard.
Jasper couldn’t see the content of the pictures, but from her tone, he could tell it wasn’t anything good.
He narrowed his eyes, his voice extremely cold, "Nora is in the shower."
The person on the other end was dumbfounded.
"Brother Jasper... I..."
Jasper didn’t want to hear any explanation from Peach Bell, and clearly, she hadn’t anticipated the sudden turn of events.
"I thought I made it very clear to you today."
Peach Bell was persistent, "Nora must have deceived you! Brother Jasper, things are not as she said."
"Nora hasn’t told me anything."
"Then why don’t you like me anymore?"
"From the beginning to the end, I never had any interest in you. If you’re sensible, don’t disrupt Nora’s and my life."
"What if I insist on disrupting?"
Jasper’s attitude grew colder and more unfeeling, "I wouldn’t mind sending you back to Melbourne alone."
"You..."
Peach Bell didn’t expect such ruthlessness from a man with memory loss.
The situation had veered off the path the young girl had anticipated.
Jasper no longer listened to her entanglement nor asked about the content of the pictures.
He opened the window of the second floor and threw the phone into the back garden with the wind.
The phone landed in the soft soil without making a sound.
When Nora came out of the bathroom, she happened to see him closing the window.
Jasper acted as if nothing had happened, calm and composed.
After a while, Nora realized her phone was missing and searched for it, asking for help, "Did you see where my phone went?"
"No."
Someone lied without blushing.
Nora certainly didn’t doubt the truth of his words and opted to search another spot for the phone.
Until she’d searched every corner of the house but still found no result.
Nora even wondered if she had lost the phone somewhere.
Luckily, her work phone and private phone were separate; otherwise, that would have been a big hassle.
Jasper looked at the dejected girl and asked knowingly, "Did you lose your phone?"
"I might have misplaced it on the way back; it’s not a big deal, I’ll get a new SIM card tomorrow."
"Mm, would you like me to accompany you?"
