Annie Davidson hung up the phone. Ignoring Maxwell Peary, she directly took Owen Lewis’s hand.

"Let’s go. Where should we eat?"

"Let’s not go. What if they still remember us? That would be too embarrassing."

"It would be best if they remember us! I’m going there to rub it in their faces!" Annie Davidson didn’t give him a chance to refuse. She directly pulled him into the car, and they sped off toward that Dining Hall.

However, it seemed they were fated not to enjoy their grand meal peacefully.

"The work is done. Is there something wrong with having lunch now?" Annie Davidson rolled her eyes, feeling utterly exasperated.

But Grandpa Davidson paid no mind to that and directly smacked her on the head.

"AH! Grandpa, I’m a grown woman! You’re still hitting me on the head?!" Annie Davidson protested. Honestly! I’ve never met anyone like him!

Grandpa Davidson completely ignored her protests. He glared at Owen Lewis again, then took the ring out from his pocket.

"Here, take this back." Grandpa Davidson thrust the ring at him. "In the future, stay far away from our family’s Annie Davidson. And you will sort out that marriage certificate issue. I don’t care what methods you use, just make sure I never see you again."

With that said, Grandpa Davidson moved to pull Annie Davidson away.

"Grandpa, I’m not going! If anyone’s going, it’s you! If anyone’s getting married, it’s you!"

Annie Davidson glared defiantly at her grandpa, thoroughly peeved. Grandpa Davidson glared right back.
