Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 608 - 607: Another Intrusion into the Girls’ Dormitory
Seeing Nia Mitchell panting heavily, Fiona Sutton’s face turned red.
Thankfully, Nia hadn’t seen what happened earlier. Otherwise, she would have been too embarrassed to face her.
"Why did you run up here? Look at you, panting like this."
Maxwell Peary looked at Nia reproachfully, gently rubbing her back.
"But what are you doing here?"
Nia pouted. What good would coming here do?
"Yancy Hastings, what was that attitude just now?"
Thinking about how Yancy had pushed little Rabina made Maxwell’s blood boil. That bastard. He himself could hardly bear to lay a finger on Rabina, yet Yancy had been so rough.
"What did I do?"
Yancy Hastings didn’t think he’d been out of line at all. He felt completely justified. This Nia Mitchell was such an eyesore.
"Since Nia and I are both here, let’s clear the air. Fiona, what is it about Nia that you find so unsatisfactory?" Maxwell cut straight to the point and then glared at Fiona.
Fiona moved her lips but didn’t know what to say.
"What’s wrong with her? What’s it to you?" Yancy retorted, stepping forward to shield Fiona. Even if Maxwell was Nia’s best friend, Yancy wouldn’t let him bully Fiona.
The two men were now equally resolute in their confrontational stances, so the tension between them began to escalate, the air crackling.
"Get out of my way." Maxwell didn’t even glance at Yancy Hastings, his gaze fixed on Fiona.
"What happens between Nia and me has nothing to do with either of you!" Fiona suddenly exclaimed.
In an instant, the air froze again, and the three people—Maxwell, Yancy, and Fiona—fell silent.
Nia watched the three of them blankly. Her lips twitched. She really didn’t understand what was happening.
After thinking for a long time, she felt she had no choice but to take out her phone and call Charles Northwood.
「Ten minutes later, another male figure appeared below the girls’ dormitory.」
As soon as Charles Northwood received the call, he rushed over. After a moment’s hesitation, he braced himself and entered the girls’ dormitory.
The dorm supervisor, ignored once again, had resignedly squatted in the corner, doodling circles on the floor.
When Charles arrived at the dormitory room, the four of them were each sitting on a stool, none of them saying a word.
His mouth twitched. Uh... so, what exactly was going on here?
"What on earth are you all doing? If there’s something you need to discuss, find somewhere else. Is this really the place for a conversation?" Charles glanced at the clothes hanging on the balcony—ah, unmistakably women’s attire. This was the kind of place that could easily make a man blush just by being present, and seeing it, he felt a bit awkward himself.
"And why can’t we talk here?" Fiona glanced at Charles indifferently. She hadn’t expected him to show up too.
"Charles Northwood, this is none of your business. Get out." Fiona rudely began to shoo him away, preparing to push him out.
However, Yancy Hastings caught her by the arm.
"Since Mr. Northwood is also here, then please, have a seat. There are indeed many things we need to discuss thoroughly." After saying this, he forcefully pressed Fiona down onto a stool, then looked at Charles.
Charles was momentarily stunned, surprised by the palpable hostility emanating from Yancy Hastings. He couldn’t recall doing anything to offend the man; why such strong animosity?
"Mr. Hastings is certainly a busy man," Charles said smoothly, graciously taking a seat on a stool. "It’s quite surprising you found time in your packed schedule to be here. If I recall correctly, don’t you have a special training session today?"
