However, as the Demon approached, there was also the sound of someone gasping.

These locals understood the principles of Adventurers well. As they got closer, they lunged forward, landing on the ground behind the young girls.

They did this to speed up because, in the next moment, a sturdy sharp claw violently broke through the grass, sweeping towards them.

ALulu immediately raised her Shield to intercept, the hard keratin of the claw clashing with the equally Demon-derived Shield surface, producing a dull thud and splashing water instead of a crisp or harsh sound.

At the point of impact, a surge of water unexpectedly formed and exploded. ALulu was just able to withstand the attack, but due to this additional water attack, she was forced back a few steps.

The sharp claw landed on the ground, splashing up water. Though there was little water here, it seemed to consciously surge towards the giant Demon as it revealed itself.

It was at least fourteen or fifteen meters long, resembling a crocodile at first glance. Unlike ordinary crocodiles, its back was covered in thick moss from which branches had even grown, giving it a plant-like quality.

Across its dark green Scale Armor, there was always a thin layer of flowing water. That was its Water Armor, which could turn into Water Attribute impact during attacks.

Seeing the young girls of the Star Flower Travel Corps in front, the giant crocodile opened its mouth to bite.

ALulu raised her sword and struck vertically, aiming to act offensively as a defense to block its charge.

However, this Demon saw through her intentions, twisting its neck to avoid the slash, instead biting towards her arm.

The Ox Race girl smashed with her shield, enhanced with Giant Power, impacting the scales on the side of the crocodile’s neck. The flowing water absorbed some impact, but the Earth Element surged on the shield, pushing away the Water Armor, effectively causing the Demon to tilt its head slightly, preventing it from biting the girl’s arm directly.

The giant crocodile rolled in the wetland, pressing down like a wall, forcing everyone to retreat.

ALulu initially wanted to wrestle directly, but Li Ang shouted for her to withdraw, which she did unquestioningly, following the command.

Dorothy used her Flower Vine to move, noticing the difficulty of the three’s movement, and quickly helped them along.

Once they retreated to a certain distance, Zoe threw her sword at the crocodile, having previously attached Earth Rock to the blade.

The Earth Element broke through the water, while the sharpness of the Wind Breath Sword pierced through the crocodile’s Scale Armor; however, the thrown power wasn’t as strong as her magically charged slash, so the attack didn’t truly breach its defense.

Zoe recalled the sword, while the crocodile’s rolling didn’t stop, forcing everyone to further withdraw.

Andasu fired several shots from her Shotgun, the gun itself being at Tier Four strength, yet it only splashed some water on the giant crocodile’s surface without breaching its defense.

The Demon’s Tier, even when placed just like that, wasn’t completely on par with that of a human of the same Tier. The Magic Power Level might be the same, but the physical strength and Magic Power Reserves could vastly differ in scale.

Dorothy’s Star Crystal Flower Vine coiled around the Arcane Wand, while the Branch of Prosperity clutched the Golden Sand Tower, unleashing a Golden Sand Mist that, due to its suppressive effect, dried the water on the crocodile’s armor plates. The Arcane Wand then immediately launched a salvo of stored Tier Five Arcane Missiles.

Sparkling blue-purple Energy exploded on the Scale Armor, leaving behind a large white mark, yet it still didn’t cause substantial harm to the giant beast.

Zoe stood at the back, assuming the Holy Snake Stance.

Her white dress fluttered, and her slender arm with a golden armlet lifted high, unleashing the Light of the Star Soul that instantly coalesced into a heavy Rock Shuttle over two meters long.

She was also a Tier Five Elemental Master, but not an ordinary one. The Earth Shuttle, containing a substantial amount of Earth Element, shot out, striking the Scale Armor, causing the crocodile scales to resist for a moment before abruptly shattering, with blood splattering everywhere.
