Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild-Chapter 112 - 91: Trapped in Mediocrity
ALulu leaned back in the chair and took a light breath, her closed youthful face wearing a slight smile. The cloak slid to both sides, and amidst the pair of fullness, mist rose, with tiny beads of sweat accentuating her creamy skin, more delicate than milk.
Zoila tugged at Li Ang’s hand, "Li Ang, do you have any way to stop ALulu from always being so hot?"
Li Ang had considered this earlier, and he shook his head saying, "No way, it’s a condition brought by her physique, not an illness or defect. If we lower her body’s activity, her strength will also be restrained." 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
ALulu hurriedly sat up, "Then I should stay like this. Only this way can I protect the innocent."
"However, making some equipment to cool her down is possible."
"Then make it."
"You’re too kind-hearted, aren’t you?" Li Ang whispered to Zoe.
"We’re already friends, after all."
Zoe realized that Li Ang was worried about her being defenseless with people, and explained, "I’m only like this with friends, not with others."
Friends, huh?
"There’s no material here." Li Ang said, "To meet the requirement, it has to be Water Attribute Materials, but there’s no place to find them in the Flashing Field."
"Oh." Zoe pouted.
Li Ang pulled a chair and sat in front of ALulu, the young girl facing him without any body reservation, quickly sitting upright, and her fullness nearly bumped into his chest.
The two girls beside let out a low gasp and quickly helped her pull up the cloak.
Could it be she’s like this usually, which is why her companions always complain about her?
Yet her simple thought is "this way I’m more comfortable," it was apparent she had been feeling quite stifled before.
On the surface, it’s dislike, but perhaps under the veneer is a rule that compels avoidance?
Li Ang asked, "Where are your companions now?"
ALulu replied in a childish voice, "They went into the desert to investigate, seemingly having discovered that villain entering the desert. Before leaving, they told me to stay honest in the hotel and not go out, but I snuck out."
This child truly is innocent, just leaving her alone can’t be considered ’sneaking out.’ It’s simply that they didn’t want to bring her.
Wait a moment, if they’ve entered the desert—
Li Ang’s mind flashed to when a dragon transformed sand worm appeared, and a figure flickered past a distant hill.
Right now, the Flashing Field desert is incredibly dangerous, especially for a group of low tier Defender Knights.
"Here’s the plan. You’ve caught the attention of The Sandbone Group, returning to the inn could easily lead to trouble. Before your companions return, stay with us for now. We’re planning to stay here for some time, and when we see your companions, we’ll let you go back."
Li Ang finished speaking, and Zoe and Dorothy exchanged a silent agreement. They had just escaped an attack from Sandnest Maggots and had first-hand experience of the dangers deep within the desert.
They could even imagine that her companions might already...
ALulu seemed oblivious, she thought it over and found no issues, perhaps even thinking she would be able to stay fed during this period, and a bit of joy surfaced on her face.
"Alright, I’ll stay with you all first!"
Li Ang then rented another room from the innkeeper and led the three girls towards the guest rooms.
"The conditions here are limited, and there’s only one room available for bathing. You three girls can sort it out among yourselves. Let me borrow it first for use. Afterwards, rest and cultivate; I’ll go find a place to craft some equipment."
Li Ang explained, waiting for the girls to discuss the arrangement.
Dorothy made every effort to claim the room with the bathroom, ALulu expressed she would follow suit, while Zoe, whom Li Ang thought might compete, easily conceded.
Li Ang quickly rinsed off the desert dust and returned to his room to prepare.
"I’m going to shower first." Dorothy rushed to grab her toiletries from her travel bag. She had been rolling around in the sand and tortured by the venom; she couldn’t wait to bathe.
"You go ahead." Zoe said indifferently and turned to the pink-haired girl, "ALulu, she’ll finish, then it’s your turn. You can wait in the room first."
ALulu was clueless as Zoe pushed her back into the room, and the brown-haired girl let out a soft breath, sneaking with no one in sight, creeping to Li Ang’s door, sneaking in quietly.
