Dannas stared fanatically at the malformed, exotic plant, his gaze fixed on the fruit that was gradually turning a lustrous, blood-red.

He began to speak softly, "The Beast God Fruit... that’s just a name the Beastmen gave this magical fruit. Because it can trade a life for a life, allowing a Beastman who consumes it to return from the dead, it was mistaken for a sign of the Beast God’s descent."

The moment the words left his mouth, he attacked Gu Yin. He didn’t treat him as his son at all, but rather as prey with whom he had no emotional connection, striking with lethal intent in every move.

Dannas was so furious he laughed instead. He clapped his hands together, his tone a mix of admiration and sarcasm. "Truly my descendant. Your way of doing things is exactly like mine back in the day. I truly regret being so impatient and abandoning you before you even hatched."

"Alas, you must hate my guts, don’t you?"
