Favorite of the Beast-world: I Got Rich Through Farming-Chapter 150 - 118: Ferocious Painful Bees
Just a few Third Rank Beasts, and they dared to try and steal his food. It was as laughable as it was infuriating.
But Hu Che was in no mood to waste time. He was in a hurry to get back and cook for his partner.
"If you want to steal my prey, you’d better have the strength for it." Mockery glinted in his amber tiger eyes as the aura of a Fourth Rank Beast instantly washed over them.
The apes screeched and jumped in fright.
But running away now would be too humiliating. The long-armed apes remembered they were backed by a powerful tribe, and their courage returned.
The resulting fight lasted only a few rounds.
Then they scurried away, battered and bruised.
"Tch. With pathetic skills like that, you still dare to steal food from me!" The tiger snorted, swished his tail proudly, and then led his clansmen back to the tribe at a quick pace.
But two days later, while they were hunting, a series of misfortunes began.
One evening, Hu Che and a few other Beastmen were struck on the head by something heavy.
Out of the corner of his eye, he glimpsed several dark shadows flashing through the jungle.
’Tch, it’s those stinking monkeys again.’
Hu Che ground his teeth, about to transform into his beast form to pounce and teach them a harsh lesson.
Suddenly, the Beastmen around him screamed.
"Painful Bees! It’s the Painful Bees! Run—!"
Immediately after, excruciating pain spread across his body, making him howl as his eyes turned bloodshot.
A huge swarm of fist-sized Painful Bees had rapidly surrounded them, their BUZZING a piercing vibration as they viciously chased and stung them.
Several large, half-empty beehives had rolled to their feet, and more Painful Bees were still crawling out.
The poisonous insects of the Beast World were startlingly large and far more ferocious. Their deadly venom could even kill an adult Beastman.
Even if it wasn’t lethal, the Beastmen would be left swollen and bruised, and the venom accumulating in their bodies could cause partial paralysis.
The usually strong and fierce Beastmen were completely helpless against these poisonous insects. They shouted and dove into a nearby river, holding their breath until their faces turned red.
They stayed under until they almost ran out of air.
Only then did the Painful Bees finally begin to fly away one by one.
The Beastmen scrambled out of the river, gasping for breath. They splashed water everywhere, darkening the soil.
Every one of them was covered in large welts, swollen and bruised to a miserable state. The stung areas had gone numb.
"Those treacherous, stinking monkeys!"
The Beastmen cursed into the distance.
An Jin was inside, pickling wild vegetables, when she heard shouting from outside. She didn’t bother to clean up and rushed out, calmly asking, "What happened?"
"Ah Jin, it’s terrible! My Hu Che has been stung so badly his fur is falling out, and he’s lying on the ground, barely breathing!"
Gou Ni ran over, clutching her stomach and panting, along with several other panicked-looking Beastmen. "Many other clansmen were stung by the Painful Bees, and the seriously injured ones are close to death!"
An Jin helped Gou Ni to a stone stool in the courtyard. "Don’t panic. Tell me everything in detail. How did they get stung by those poisonous insects?"
Two of the accompanying Beastmen, who were in relatively better condition, told An Jin everything that had happened from start to finish. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
They saw the female’s expression quickly turn cold.
"Where are they now? Take me to them." An Jin followed the Beastmen to two thatched huts.
Inside, five or six Beastmen, stung until they were swollen and bruised beyond recognition, lay dying in piles of straw, their breaths shallow.
’Normally, a bee’s stinger injects venom containing formic acid and other substances, which can cause localized pus formation and symptoms of poisoning.’
’These men’s conditions matched the symptoms, but it was far more severe and complicated than I imagined.’
An Jin took two steps forward and crouched down to examine them. The pus-filled welts were mostly concentrated on their exposed skin.
Many of the wounds still had whole or broken stingers embedded in the skin.
’I can’t just pull them out by hand, or parts of the stingers will be left behind.’
’Does the System Mall sell sterile needles or scalpels?’
Mirror Mirror’s cheerful voice rang out, "Don’t worry, Master! Our System Mall has everything! As you level up, the only limit to what we sell is your imagination!"
’How much?’
"Disposable sterile needles are 50 Gold Coins each. A standard scalpel is 40 Gold Coins!"
An Jin glanced at the four or five injured men before her, weighed her double-digit account balance, and silently requested, ’Purchase one standard scalpel.’
’The scalpel is more cost-effective. I can sterilize it and reuse it, and it has a wider range of uses.’
"DING—Congratulations on your successful purchase! Standard Scalpel x1. 40 Gold Coins have been deducted!"
"Account Balance: 32 Gold Coins!"
An Jin looked at the Beastmen’s severe injuries. The wounds had turned a purplish-black and were oozing a disgusting, viscous yellow pus.
Her long brows furrowed slightly. Without looking up, she said in a low voice, "All of you, leave. I need a quiet environment. No one is to enter without my permission."
"I need to remove the Poison Needles from their bodies first."

I saw some of my dear readers asking why I’ve gone from four updates a day to just one. The total daily word count is actually the same; I’ve just combined the four shorter Chapters into one long one!
