Fated to My Billionaire Husband-Chapter 1563: Because You’re Too Noisy
Chapter 1563: Chapter 1563: Because You’re Too Noisy
"What are you doing? Put me down!"
"..."
"Ruan Tianling, let go of me!"
The man held her tightly and fell with her onto the bed, pressing his body against hers and restraining her hands.
"You say you don’t blame me, but if you don’t, why are you avoiding me?" He stared at her and asked, the breath he exhaled sweeping across her face.
Jian Yufei closed her eyes. "I don’t blame you, I’m just not in the mood."
"Why aren’t you in the mood?"
"I don’t know, I just don’t feel like it."
Ruan Tianling gripped her chin. "Open your eyes and look at me!"
Jian Yufei raised her lashes, her gaze colliding with the depths of his ocean-like eyes.
"Say it again. Why aren’t you in the mood?" he asked in a low voice.
Jian Yufei’s eyes flickered. "I don’t know..."
"Jian Yufei, every time you lie, I’ll act on it! We’ll be at sea for several days before heading home—I’ve got plenty of time to spend playing this game with you!"
"You..."
"If we were to take a ship all the way back, it would take several dozen days. Several dozen days should be enough for you to get pregnant, right?"
Jian Yufei snapped, "Ruan Tianling, I’m not in the mood to discuss this with you. You don’t need to threaten me like this—it won’t work!"
"You think I’m joking?" Ruan Tianling narrowed his eyes.
Jian Yufei could sense the seriousness in his tone.
Perhaps he was joking, but if she didn’t play along, he’d certainly follow through.
"Enough. Just leave, I want some peace and quiet by myself," Jian Yufei said, her mood sinking.
Ruan Tianling pressed his lips tightly together, his face shadowed with gloom. "You’re trying to send me away?"
"I’m not... Fine, I’ll leave instead."
"You’re deliberately avoiding me."
Jian Yufei was growing impatient. "I just want some quiet."
"Why do you have to avoid me to have quiet?" Ruan Tianling pushed.
"Because you’re too noisy!"
"Fine, I won’t say another word. Be quiet, then." He turned over and lay beside her, both of them staring at the ceiling.
Jian Yufei turned her body, her back facing him.
Ruan Tianling gazed at her back, his expression unreadable.
Jian Yufei stared outside at the moonlight, her mood heavy.
She could understand his actions, but leaving her family behind like this made her deeply sad...
Why couldn’t there be a perfect solution in this world, one where she could stay with everyone she cared about?
Jian Yufei wrestled with her emotions until she eventually fell asleep without realizing it.
...
The cruise ship quietly sailed through the night.
Sunlight poured in through the window.
The two bodies on the bed were pressed close together, held tightly in an intimate embrace.
"Mommy, are you awake?" Suddenly, a knock sounded at the door, prompting Jian Yufei to groggily open her eyes.
"Mommy, I’m coming in."
Hearing the sound of the door opening, Jian Yufei glanced down and finally noticed the compromising position she and Ruan Tianling were in.
Before that little head peeked in, she quickly yanked the blanket over both of them to cover their bodies.
"Mommy, are you awake?" Ansel cautiously approached the bed, his innocent voice soft and gentle.
Jian Yufei pretended she’d just woken up, blinking her eyes open. "Ansel, why did you come in? Is there something you need?"
"Mommy, I want to go take photos. Can you go with me?" Ansel asked expectantly.
No matter how mature or composed he tried to act on regular days, he was still a little boy, too young to suppress his playful nature.
This was his first time on a cruise ship. Everything felt novel to him; however, playing alone on the deck wasn’t fun, so he was eager to have his mom join him.
Jian Yufei smiled. "Alright, let me change first. You go ahead and wait outside; I’ll come out shortly."
