Chapter 2182: Chapter 2182: Don’t Fucking Bother Her!

"I understand, I’m on my way," Jasmine Yale immediately made up her mind.

"In the president’s office, the door has been closed the whole time. Let me know when you get here."

"Alright."

After hanging up, Jasmine Yale untied her apron, changed into a loose light gray sweater, and threw on a black trench coat. She tied her long hair with a hairband and added a dark scarf.

Her eyes held a deep, unsettled gleam, and her heart was racing.

Switching to a pair of dark brown flat leather shoes, she hurriedly tidied up and turned to leave the bedroom.

Butler Santana was still helping Jasmine Yale make pastries. Seeing her dressed like this, he was surprised, "Miss Yale, are you going out? Is there something happening?"

"There’s something work-related. I have to go," Jasmine Yale tried to smile, reassuring Butler Santana.

"Remember to bring an umbrella. It’s raining heavily outside. Are you coming back tonight?"

"Depends on the situation, I’ll call you."

"Ah, your company really doesn’t know how to relax, asking a pregnant woman on vacation to go over? Can’t they wait until tomorrow? It’s almost time to get off work," Butler Santana grumbled.

"It’s alright, I’ll be back soon."

Jasmine Yale took a blue folding umbrella and headed out the door and downstairs.

Butler Santana was right, it really was worrisome.

In their thirties yet acting like children.

A fight? Ha.

Yukon Carbon was slimmer and more refined than Sylvan Cheney; how could Yukon Carbon possibly stand up to Sylvan Cheney?

Sylvan Cheney never liked Yukon Carbon, and if it really came to blows, he certainly wouldn’t hold back.

Both are dignified people, yet in the office, they just started fighting.

Jasmine Yale shook her head, feeling uneasy inside.

Everything was fine, how did it turn into a fight?

The sky was dim and the rain trickled down the edge of her umbrella. The wind stirred, and Jasmine Yale squinted her eyes to avoid the rain, but a light mist still settled on her face.

Luckily, she was bundled up and didn’t feel cold.

Jasmine Yale walked along the wet path toward the entrance of her community.

Being heavily pregnant was indeed inconvenient; everything was a challenge.

Thankfully, a taxi arrived at the entrance just as she got there.

Jasmine Yale watched the window nervously, but it was all fogged up, making it impossible to see clearly.

How did Sylvan Cheney and Yukon Carbon end up in a fight? This was their first official meeting.

But she knew they had known each other for a long time.

A fight in the office, Sylvan Cheney really didn’t care about appearances.

The taxi quickly reached the financial district.

The rain continued to fall, lithe and widespread, and as dusk settled in, the streetlights flickered on, illuminating the road.

Jasmine Yale wrapped her scarf and coat tighter around her, bowing her head as she walked toward the elevator.

It wasn’t quitting time yet, so the elevator was empty.

Jasmine Yale’s breathing quickened, her eyes glistening with anticipation, and her heart pounded faster.

"I’m telling you, you’d better treat her well. Do you know how much she’s suffered? If you can’t, then get the hell out and stop bothering her!" Yukon’s enraged voice boomed from inside the door!

Outside, Jasmine Yale halted.

Never had she seen Yukon Carbon so angry; he was always a gentleman who never uttered harsh words.

This was the first time she’d seen this side of Yukon Carbon.

His voice was filled with fury and frustration.

Yukon Carbon was obviously furious, and it was directed at Sylvan Cheney.

Jasmine Yale’s heart skipped a beat.
