He was about to lead Su Han away, but Su Han hesitated. "I have a sister I want to bring with me."

Under no circumstances would Su Han leave Lu Yunxian behind. Furthermore, she hadn’t participated in the Entry Level assessment. If he left, she would be forced to leave the Seven Stars Sect, a thought that unsettled him.

"A sister?" Lei Ming looked surprised, but given Yaoguang Peak’s current situation, one more person was actually a good thing. He was about to nod his assent.

Just then, a streak of green light flew from within the Seven Stars Sect, heading straight for the mountain gate. This sudden development shocked the dispersing crowd, who now wondered if the battle was not yet over.

The green light ignored everyone and landed directly in front of Lu Yunxian. Within the light was a hunched-over old crone with white hair and wrinkled, chicken-like skin. Dressed in a green robe and holding a gnarled vine as a walking stick, her face was cold and proud. She had a forbidding aura; she was clearly an eccentric elder. The immense pressure of the aura she radiated made one’s breath catch.

"Elder Liu Rumei!" someone recognized the old woman and exclaimed in astonishment.

Like Lei Ming and Qin Wushuang, Liu Rumei was one of the ten Great Elders of the Seven Stars Sect, a powerhouse in the Supreme Realm. But she was different from them. She was reclusive, difficult to get along with, and had no Spirit Peak of her own, living a solitary life. She would never show herself or take action unless a significant event occurred. Why would such a reclusive and peculiar powerhouse suddenly appear? Was something important happening?

Though he knew he was no match for the elder, Fairy Sister Yun Xian was his reverse scale—a line that could not be crossed. He would not back down for her, no matter the opponent.

Seeing Su Han, Liu Rumei’s eyes flashed with displeasure. With a wave of her hand, a streak of green light shot out, intending to smack Su Han aside before she took Lu Yunxian.

"Elder Liu, this is my new disciple and his sister. Please show me some respect and don’t use your strength to bully the weak!" Though unsure what had gotten into Liu Rumei, Lei Ming wasn’t about to watch his new disciple be mistreated.

"Respect my ass! That girl has the same Qingmu Spirit Body as me, and I’m taking her as my disciple. Get lost, or I’ll thrash you too!" Liu Rumei, who appeared forbidding, was actually even more ferocious.

"Elder Liu, the Seven Stars Sect has never been in the business of coercion," Lei Ming said, forced to stand up and speak for Lu Yunxian for Su Han’s sake. "I have no objection to you taking her as a disciple, but you must at least ask if she is willing."

Hearing this, Liu Rumei’s gaze passed over Su Han and landed on Lu Yunxian once more. "Little girl, I don’t know what you’ve been through, but your Qingmu Spirit Body’s Origin Source is severely depleted, damaging your very foundation. As it is, you have at most one year of life left. Su Han was shaken by her words. Tongyan had previously told him that an Elder Liu Rumei in the Seven Stars Sect also possessed the Qingmu Spirit Body and might be able to heal Fairy Sister Yun Xian. He hadn’t expected her to seek them out before he had a chance to find her. However, he couldn’t make this decision for his sister. He looked at her, awaiting her choice.

"Little Han, you follow Elder Lei Ming, and I’ll follow Elder Liu. Let’s see who improves faster!" Lu Yunxian said with a gentle smile, trying to comfort him.

"Fairy Sister Yun Xian, I will definitely work hard!" Su Han suppressed his worries. The fact that his sister’s lifespan was short was true, and perhaps a miracle could happen if she went with Liu Rumei.

"Since that’s settled, come with me!" Looking impatient, Liu Rumei grabbed Lu Yunxian, and they transformed into a streak of green light, flying into the sect and vanishing in an instant.

"Don’t worry," Lei Ming explained, trying to reassure the still-worried Su Han. "Liu Rumei may seem reclusive and odd, but she has a cold exterior and a warm heart. Moreover, she has taken a liking to your sister. She’ll definitely treat her as a Direct Disciple. Perhaps the next time you see her, she will have surpassed you!"

Su Han nodded, hoping that the issue of Fairy Sister Yun Xian’s lifespan could finally be solved. "By the way, I have another friend. May I bring him to Yaoguang Peak as well?"

Su Han hadn’t forgotten Ning Feifan. After all, when Qian Yuan had tried to kill him, Ning Feifan had rushed out without hesitation, despite knowing he was no match for their opponent.
