Salido walked behind her, leaned down slightly, and whispered in her ear, his voice low:

"Remember, the key to constructing a magic model is to stabilize the rhythm. Don't rush, and certainly don't get flustered..."

Salido reached out and held the female priest's hand, gently pressing her palm.

"Come, follow my guidance, feel my strength... don't resist."

Nabila's ears instantly turned crimson, her body stiffly responding with an "Mm."

"Very good, very good."

Salido smiled with satisfaction,

"Remember, start magic model in a small cycle and gradually expand."

"You're too impatient, always wanting to do it all at once, which makes the energy prone to explode."

"Explode... explode?" Nabila's voice carried a hint of confusion.

"Yes, explode all over."

Salido said seriously: "So, you need to control the direction and force, not just seek speed, learn to accumulate slowly... until it's fully formed."

Salido's fingers slid over the female priest's hand, tracing the flow of magic power,

"Come, try again, gather all the energy in your body."

Nabila was so tense that her whole body stiffened, her breath rapid, unable to control her body's energy at all.

"Whew... relax, follow my lead."

Salido whispered in her ear, "You'll find that when the magic model is truly stable, that sense of release... is unprecedented."

"Bishop, I, I should go back and practice myself!"

Nabila quickly got up and dashed out of the tent!

"You!"

Salido also quickly stood up to chase, but by the time he got outside the tent, Nabila was already gone.

The Holy Temple Knight on night watch was by the bonfire just meters away, so Salido dared not pursue further.

"What an interesting little rascal."

Salido smiled, bringing his hand to his nose, inhaling deeply.

Just as he was indulging in the scent left by the holy light on his hand, a cold dagger silently pressed against his neck.

"Bishop Salido, you better not move."

Lusen's voice was icy.

"I won't move, Mister Lusen, do be careful!"

Feeling the cold blade, Salido's voice trembled, "Whatever you want, just don't be impulsive!"

"I want nothing, just tell me where you took Zhuo Ya?"

Lusen coldly interrogated: "Why did you capture her?"

"Zhuo Ya?"

Salido's voice was filled with confusion, "Who is she? Your wife? Or your woman?"

"Don't play dumb, Bishop Salido!"

Lusen pressed the dagger closer to Salido's skin, "She's one of our Dawn Society members, and was captured by your people at Blood Crow Castle!"

Salido clearly paused, then breathed a sigh of relief, a smile appearing on his face.

He carefully held Lusen's hand,

"I really wish to help, Mister Lusen, but this matter has nothing to do with our Dawn Church."

Before Lusen could speak, Salido spoke without hesitation:

"I swear to the great Lord of Dawn, if I'm lying, let evil tear my soul apart."

With Salido's words, it was Lusen's turn to be astonished.

The clergy of the church often lied, but if they were willing to swear by their god, it was usually the truth.

Unless this bishop was a false believer.

"Alright, please believe me."

Salido gently pushed away Lusen's hand.

Lusen also retracted the dagger, stepping back two paces.

"I'm sorry, Bishop Salido, I acted impulsively."

"Attempting to assassinate a bishop is a grave offense, punishable by burning at the stake."

Salido said leisurely.

Bishops are high positions within the church, only below archbishops and the Pope.

When a bishop acts on his own, he represents divine authority; assassinating a bishop is not only murder but also sacrilege.

"But our lord is merciful, Mister Lusen, I forgive your recklessness."

Salido adjusted his robe, smiling, "I understand, considering some unfriendly presences within the Holy Council."

"But our Dawn Church, under the radiance of the Holy Light, is full of love and mercy."

"If you wish, you could learn more about us."

Salido looked at Lusen, "Perhaps, like me, you'd embrace our lord."

"Thank you for your kindness, Bishop Salido."

Lusen bowed to Salido, "I'm sorry for troubling you."

Upon finishing, Lusen turned, puzzled.

If they weren't taken by Salido's people, then who?

As Lusen pondered, flames suddenly flared up on the distant hillside.

"Emergency assembly!"

Officers' orders exploded over the camp, followed promptly by horn blasts!

Lusen immediately turned his head towards Salido, who also appeared bewildered!

Without further thought, Lusen dashed towards Commander Leon's tent, with Salido soon following.

By the time the two reached Leon's tent, it was already brightly lit.

Pulling aside the curtain, they found guards helping Leon don his armor.

Upon seeing Lusen and Salido enter together, Leon's eyes showed a hint of surprise but quickly returned to normal,

"A messenger returned from the front, spotting numerous skeleton creatures in the western valley!"

Leon said seriously, "Put other matters aside for now. Please inform your people to join me in clearing out those skeleton creatures!"

"Rest assured, Lord Commander, our Dawn Church will certainly cleanse this evil!"

Salido stood tall and assured, then left to gather others.

Lusen nodded in response to Leon, just about to leave when Leon stopped him,

"Is it them?" Leon asked.

Lusen shook his head slightly.

"We'll handle the skeleton creatures first, then I'll assign someone to help find Miss Zhuo Ya." Leon promised.

"I understand, Lord Commander."

Lusen finished, quickly departing to gather members of the Dawn Society.
