Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God-Chapter 2067 - 955: Mage Valo (Part 2)
"It could be the Lord’s attendant, specifically here to invite Mr. Valo, or it could be the Lord himself."
"Why didn’t you say earlier? If it’s the Lord, we have been too disrespectful!"
"I’m just speculating, it’s not certain!"
"I’ll be more careful next time, definitely more careful!"
Because of a series of speculations and associations, the Black Crow Inn was in an uproar.
The Lord is the absolute ruler of a region, able to decide their life or death, it is prudent to treat him with care.
On the way back to his private residence, Gaven took the initiative to end the Superstate Transformation, reverting to his original form, and apologized: "Recently, I have been tied up with some trifles in the Fairy Wilderness.
Couldn’t get the news of Mr. Valo’s visit at the first moment, I ask for your forgiveness."
"Migrating thousands of Giant apple trees and establishing dozens of Apple Gardens, if these can be called trifles, then what counts as major events in this world?"
Mage Valo laughed heartily, "You’re busy with the affairs of military and state, unlike me who is just indulging in food and travel. I am grateful that you want to see me instead of sending someone to throw me out."
"Mr. Valo underestimates himself too much, your travelogue has helped me greatly. Without it, I wouldn’t know there’s a type of fish that eats Styrak Bush.
Nor would I know the magical effects of composite farming in Nimiel Village, there would be no biological cement and glass water lights."
Gaven did not hide anything but spoke truthfully.
Being candid lays the foundation for upcoming cooperation.
Valo looked surprised: "Mr. Gaven means the Styrak Bush planting in Goblin Margins and the glass water lights recently popular across half of Northern Lands.
Were inspired by my travelogue? Not something you were already deeply researching?"
Before Gaven mentioned it, he had never linked these two things together.
Upon first hearing these two products, he felt like he missed out on a billion.
Now it seems, it was not merely his illusion, but something real.
"Indeed, inspired by your travelogue, after all, Nimiel Village is remote, if I hadn’t seen it in your travelogue, I would never have interacted with them in this lifetime. We’ve arrived."
As they spoke, they had reached Gaven’s Lord’s Mansion.
The tea maid Susu was already waiting at the door.
There aren’t that many maids here, inside and out it’s just the two of them, having to play multiple roles.
After instructing Susu to serve tea, the two sat down separately.
Gaven continued: "Mr. Valo’s travelogue is exquisite but pays too much attention to dining and lodging, with many local specialties mentioned only briefly or not at all, reducing its commercial reference value greatly.
If more of this were added, I guarantee Mr. Valo’s travelogue would be even more popular, at least every merchant would have a copy trying to find business opportunities within."
From his travelogue, it is easy to see that Valo is not a competent businessman, often overlooking many opportunities.
On the flip side, if he were a competent businessman, his steps would be hindered, making it hard to enjoy carefree travels like now.
"This is a very good suggestion, I’ll pay attention to that in the future." Valo took out a heavy notebook in front of Gaven, quickly writing and drawing.
This is a habit he developed over years of traveling.
The prior travelogues were systematically organized travel diaries.
Even the best memory can’t compare to a worn-out pen.
Especially for someone like him, racing around the world, involved with numerous matters.
If he were to experience them and then write about them later, even as a Legendary Mage famed for Intelligence, he would likely miss many details and stories.
"I wonder what series Mr. Valo is currently working on? When will it be published? I am impatiently waiting to read." Gaven asked with concern.
This was not mere flattery, but as a sincere fan urging for more.
"Well... Recently, my inspiration has run dry, and I’ve had no good ideas. I have some now, but my current partner isn’t keen, thinking no one would be interested, unwilling to continue investing.
As you know, travel consumes not only energy but a lot of Gold Coins.
Without money, it’s impossible to deeply understand many local specialties." Valo showed a hint of awkwardness.
Whether it’s because he’s embarrassed by Gaven’s urging or his own financial difficulty, only he knows.
"Indeed." Gaven nodded in deep agreement, his eyes lighting up, asking, "Mr. Valo’s next travelogue won’t be about the Far East Continent’s Soaring Dragon Dynasty, will it?"
"Haha... Mr. Gaven truly understands me." Valo said excitedly, "We know very little about the Soaring Dragon Dynasty, from my past half-month interacting with the Soaring Dragon People here.
Our previous understanding was often incorrect.
As Felen’s first explorer, I have a duty to understand this ancient Empire better, and to inform the world through travelogue."
"So, you want sponsorship here for your journey to the Soaring Dragon Dynasty!" Gaven stated affirmatively, instead of asking.
The mind of the Legendary Mage wasn’t difficult to guess, especially after understanding his thought process. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
"Yes," Valo candidly admitted, "Mr. Gaven has gathered many Soaring Dragon People to establish Far East Territory, surely interested in that ancient Empire as well, but may not have the time to visit himself.
