With such strategic weapons, he certainly wouldn’t trust others to control them; he had to do it himself.
Even with the Charm Bracelet, they were cautious, afraid of becoming food for the creatures by accident.
A flash of regret passed through Palado’s heart, regretting his carelessness.
He should have completed the harmony in front of Gaven and ensured his total control over the Cloud Manta before letting him leave.

Having verified the Charm Bracelet’s efficacy, both Palado and Duis grew bolder, experimenting with using the Charm Bracelet to command the creatures back and forth, up and down.
The Cloud Mantas obeyed one by one, behaving as docilely as well-trained war horses.
A sense of accomplishment flooded their hearts.
Commanding such a colossal creature is not the same as riding a war horse.
"It’s really so stable, if I didn’t know beforehand, I would have thought I hadn’t left the ground at all," Palado praised sincerely, standing on the adult Cloud Manta’s back.
