Chapter 1330: Chapter 710: Human Mouth Has 2 Lips

Though they clearly had an overwhelming advantage in numbers, the moment Gaven appeared among them, it was as if the roles reversed, making them the ones being watched. They shrieked in surprise and jumped like startled deer, instinctively scanning their surroundings, seemingly searching for the nearest trees to hide within.

But regrettably, the area was completely barren. Not only were there no trees, but not even a single blade of grass could be seen. However, the aura and essence of nature permeated every inch of space, so much so that it felt as though they were inside a massive tree.

"We’re not in the King’s Forest anymore. So where are we?"

"I feel as if I am far, very far from my oak tree, yet at the same time, so very close. How could this be?"

"The Dragon Oak Dream Realm—this must be the mythical natural dream spoken of throughout the wilderness. But what are we now? Physical beings, or mere illusions?"

"If that’s the case, we’ve completely left our trees behind. But strangely, I don’t feel any discomfort at all. This is truly incredible."

"This Dragon Oak Dream Realm is even more astonishing than the legends say."

"Exactly. Our earlier perception wasn’t wrong. He really is a male Tree Spirit, and he is one with this place where we now stand. We are inside the body of a tree. I understand now—I understand the nature of the Dragon Oak Dream Realm. This is a tree’s dream. We are within the dream of a tree. Yes, that must be it."

"Now that you mention it, this does seem to be the situation—an utterly remarkable dream capable of accommodating countless beings. The sheer power of this tree must be extraordinary."

"But wait, if he is a Tree Spirit, how can he leave his symbiotic tree and roam at a distance without being adversely affected?"

"Yes, how is that possible for him?"

"Could he really be the Child of Prophecy? Could the new life spoken of in the prophecy actually refer to this dream realm?"

The Tree Spirits huddled together, chattering amongst themselves in a rush of speculation. Once they realized how dense Gaven’s natural aura was in this place, and how startlingly similar it was to their own, much of their initial shyness melted away. They began staring at Gaven with unwavering gazes, as though observing an exotic, precious creature—or rather, a one-of-a-kind existence. The longer they gazed, the more captivated they became.

Tree Spirits are creatures known for being vain judges of physical beauty. When they choose to charm humanoid beings for the purpose of reproduction, they look at only one thing: looks. They hardly ever give themselves a chance to understand the inner beauty of their chosen partners.

There’s never been a tale of Orcs, Dwarves, or Gnomes being seduced by Tree Spirits to reproduce—even if they were enchanted, it would more often than not be for the purpose of protecting the Tree Spirits as warriors.

Such romantic ripples of enchantment typically occurred with Elves, Half-Elves, or handsome young humans. Occasionally, it might happen with Demi-Humans, provided they were sufficiently attractive.

Gaven was their ideal type of infatuation—possessing the delicate beauty of a Half-Elf while boasting a sturdy physique the likes of which they lacked. His muscles were sharply defined as if carved from stone—not bulging lumps, but smooth, streamlined structures that exuded both aesthetic appeal and explosive power.

Most dazzlingly, the life force flowing through him was, for these Tree Spirits, the ultimate aphrodisiac—it carried a lethal allure that made them want to rush to him and drain him dry.

"I can answer that question for you," a calm voice replied. "The reason he can leave his symbiotic tree without consequences is because he carries only half of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree’s soul consciousness within him. The other half resides within me. On top of that, everyone currently inhabiting this Dragon Oak Dream Realm acts as a temporary soul for the Mother Tree, providing it with sufficient soul consciousness support. This prevents the Mother Tree from withering due to the absence of one half of its soul consciousness, ensuring there’s no adverse impact."

"The same goes for all of you Tree Spirits: your symbiotic ability doesn’t allow you to remain away from your dwelling trees for extended periods, just as a person’s soul can’t leave their body for too long without causing their physical form to wither and die.

"However, if you find a way to substitute your consciousness in support of your symbiotic trees, you would be able to temporarily move far away from your dwelling trees.

"When you entered the Dragon Oak Dream Realm, your symbiotic tree bodies became linked to the Mother Tree. Thus, no matter how long you stay within this realm, your own trees will not experience any negative repercussions."

A stunningly beautiful figure appeared out of thin air before the group of Tree Spirits. She was no less radiant than the Tree Spirit Queen, Ladana Radanaxi. Patiently, she began explaining the rationale behind these circumstances.

This person was none other than Lord Virginia herself, the mistress of the Dragon Oak Dream Realm. Her understanding of the realm and her own situation was uniquely profound.

Before encountering the Tree Spirits, she hadn’t delved deeply into these connections. But now, after careful comparison, she realized just how similar their current state was to that of the Tree Spirits, with only slight distinctions stemming from the massive scale of the Dragon Oak Mother Tree. This afforded them an inherent margin for error that regular Tree Spirits did not possess, leading to certain apparent differences.

"This Dragon Oak Dream Realm truly surpasses the legends in its wonder," Ladana Radanaxi’s ethereal, crystalline voice rang out again. "Perhaps even more incredible is the realization that he shares such an uncanny resemblance with us Tree Spirits—same roots, same origins."

"So, does this mean your state is not innate, but rather an acquired symbiotic harmony?"

Her strength and wisdom far surpassed those of ordinary Tree Spirits. While others were noisily debating, she had silently taken in her surroundings, piecing together a myriad of conjectures and hypotheses.

"Indeed," Gaven admitted openly. "To be honest, this transformation only occurred a few days ago. Before that, we were merely closely connected. If our friends of nature are curious, we would be more than happy to guide you through the Dragon Oak Dream Realm and show you around."
