"Come watch the show." Han Qiwu, not one to quietly enjoy himself alone, reached out to scoop up Tang Qingying and handed her a small handful of pine nuts in the process.

Pure bliss.

After collecting the drumsticks from the meat chickens, these little wooden puppets would even milk cows, shear rabbit fur, and tend to the land's upkeep all on their own.

Talk about hassle-free.

Han Qiwu opened the puppets' camp attributes to check. These little wooden puppets only required solar power to operate—eco-friendly and convenient. Plus, their numbers could be increased by adding wood and hardwood materials.

But after observing for a while, Han Qiwu realized that the current thirty puppets were more than enough to manage the farm. He figured he'd leave future upgrades for later.

Time to go—off to meet the in-laws.

As for the venue, last night before bed, Tang Qingying had already booked a high-end hotel as the meeting place for both sets of parents' first meeting. Since they had already met each other's parents before, no overly formal gifts were needed—just bringing something edible would suffice.

Two hours later, Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying greeted Mr. and Mrs. Han at the hotel entrance.

Mrs. Han, getting out of the car with several gift boxes in hand, beamed as she walked over to Tang Qingying and held her hand. "Qingying, you're looking more beautiful every day! But you seem a bit thinner—make sure to eat more, alright? If there's anything you'd like, just let Auntie know."

"You don't need to trouble yourself, Auntie. If I want anything, I'll have Han Qiwu make it. You and Uncle should just relax and enjoy yourselves." Tang Qingying looped her arm around Mrs. Han's and smiled warmly.

"Oh, alright then." Mrs. Han had just opened her mouth to say more when Mr. and Mrs. Tang's car pulled up. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

As expected, the parents exchanged pleasantries upon meeting. Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying were fully prepared for this and led their respective parents inside while chatting.

Once seated, Mrs. Han was the first to bring out a gift box and handed it to Tang Qingying. "Qingying, this is a small token from Auntie. I personally found an experienced artisan recently and had him make these three gold items for you. Take a look and see if you like the designs."

"Thank you, Auntie," Tang Qingying said, reaching for the box and, since Mrs. Han had encouraged her to, she opened it on the spot.

Inside were a gold ring, gold earrings, and a gold necklace—each piece boasting a warm, rich glow. Their designs were classic yet with a hint of modernity, clearly tailored with great care.

"Thank you so much, Auntie. These gold pieces are gorgeous." Tang Qingying quickly expressed her gratitude, sneaking a glance at Han Qiwu.

Mrs. Tang, not to be left behind, cheerfully handed her gift to Han Qiwu—a similarly styled box. "Xiao Han, Auntie had a custom suit and a watch made for you. Take a look and see if you like them."

"Thank you, Auntie." Han Qiwu received the box and opened it. Inside was a tailored dark gray suit made with fine fabric and a sleek black watch that exuded understated luxury. He also snuck a playful glance at Tang Qingying.

No wonder he'd felt someone poking and prodding him during his naps recently—it turned out Qingying had been secretly taking his measurements.

With the exchange of gifts done, the two families began discussing wedding plans as dish after dish was served.

Since Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying had already coordinated much beforehand, and both families got along seamlessly, the conversation soon flowed so naturally that, before the couple realized it, the parents had already set the wedding date: ten days later, on May 1st.

Han Qiwu, who had just placed a piece of sweet Peking duck on Tang Qingying's plate, froze upon catching this piece of information.

Getting married in ten days?

That soon?

Similarly, Tang Qingying was just as stunned, but her moment of surprise was quickly overtaken by the delectable taste of the sweet duck.

So delicious.

Seeing her reaction, Han Qiwu couldn't help but laugh softly.

What is happiness?

Happiness is doing the right thing at the right time.

If you love someone, you take responsibility for that love.

May 1st works just fine.

It'd make anniversaries easier to remember in the future.

Better than stumbling after 70 or 80 years if Qingying suddenly asks you when your anniversary is.

Now that would be a senior crisis, wouldn't it?

The meal was filled with joy, and after escorting their respective parents home, Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying exchanged smiles, then drove back together.

On the way home, they casually discussed wedding details—how many guests to invite, how many tables to set.

Midway through the ride, Han Qiwu suddenly had a bold idea. "Hey, I maxed out fishing recently and got this golden fishing boat as a reward. How about we have a wedding at sea?"

Tang Qingying's interest perked up immediately. "That sounds amazing! That way, we wouldn't have to worry about running out of space. We could rent a cruise ship for the venue, and you and I could sail up in the fishing boat. Just imagining it feels so romantic! But what if it rains on the day?"

Han Qiwu gave a sly smile. "That's an easy fix. Before the wedding, we'll use several days of rain totems to clear out the water in the clouds over this area. The weather should cooperate just fine."

"You're incredible, hubby." Tang Qingying gave him a playful thumbs-up.

Once home, under a starry sky, the two weren't sleepy at all after their meal. They lounged in chairs, sipping tea and chatting.

Their bear, the "Little Prince," perked up when it saw them return. It hopped over excitedly, pointing to a nearby beehive with an innocent grin.

In her good mood, Tang Qingying reached for a jar of honey and handed it over while cautioning, "You can have honey, but from now on, you need to brush your teeth morning and night. Even though you're a herbivore, you've still got to take care of those teeth."

Little Prince: "???"

Brush my teeth? Are you kidding? I'm a bear!

Han Qiwu's interest was piqued as well. "Wifey's right. I pulled out a cavity for Little Prince the other day and figured it was time to start enforcing tooth-brushing, but I kept putting it off. Good thing I still have that oversized new brush from my last shopping spree." He quickly retrieved a nearly half-meter-long toothbrush, already smeared with a fifth of a tube of toothpaste, and handed it to the bear.

Looking at Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying's expectant faces, Little Prince resignedly put down its honey and mimicked Han Qiwu's brushing motions.

One stroke, two strokes.

Before the toothpaste even lathered, it was ready to call it quits.

"Not enough! You need to brush for five full minutes. Keep going! Once your teeth are clean, I'll give you more honey." Tang Qingying tempted it with another jar of honey in her hand.

The Little Prince immediately nodded and continued brushing diligently.

After rinsing its mouth, it had to admit it felt refreshed. Delighted, it trotted back to its burrow, cradling its toothbrush and honey.

Finished with the bear's antics, the couple were about to turn in when they noticed glowing flower fairies fluttering in from outside the yard. They looked like they had stepped straight out of a fantasy film, with wings on their backs and magic wands in their hands, scattering petals wherever they flew.

The flower fairies hovered over the roses and peonies before settling down, playing and frolicking amongst themselves.

[The flower fairies have come to play again. Please don't disturb them.]

Smiling at each other, Han Qiwu and Tang Qingying quietly retreated into the house to rest.

Sweet dreams.
