Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence-Chapter 292 - 191: Ambushing Me? As If My Golden Finger Is Useless (2)
Thor shook his head, his expression serious.
He wasn’t joking; although he had a daily intelligence system, he could avoid a hundred percent of troubles.
Still, he didn’t want trouble to suddenly come to him.
Since someone had targeted him at this moment, it was better to resolve it.
In particular, there was an unexpected gain in today’s intelligence.
That makes it even more impossible to let it go.
"I understand!"
Upon hearing Thor’s words, Bryan pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement.
"Carter, this is for you!"
"It should be enough to help you break through!"
"Remember to make up for the merit points when the time comes!"
Thor spoke, then took out a Divine Wood Fruit from his pocket.
"Thank you, brother Thor!"
Carter spoke respectfully, his expression somewhat excited.
"Go ahead!"
Thor waved his hand.
Then he began to make some plans.
Since he intended to leave those guys behind, he naturally needed to be prepared.
Thor and his group eventually planned to act at a canyon ahead to prevent others from escaping.
The next day, morning sunlight fell.
The group set off again, and at this moment, Carter had already broken through to the level of a Great Knight.
An eighteen-year-old Great Knight, this cultivation speed could be described as terrifying. It was much stronger than Thor back then, even comparable to Reine.
However, this was normal, as the opportunity in the Divine Ruins was not something everyone could obtain.
Carter also gained a lot from the Divine Ruins.
With enough resources, this kind of strength enhancement was naturally very apparent.
Thor called out, and the group quickly moved into action.
After about half a day, they arrived at the canyon.
This was a very narrow entrance, with steep cliffs on both sides, and only a ten-foot path in the middle.
Just by dumping boulders down, they could completely seal off the canyon.
Upon reaching the canyon, Thor immediately began giving orders.
Knights, including Thor and Bryan, began to take action.
As half a day passed and everything was handled, Thor waited quietly at the end of the canyon.
Time ticked away.
Gradually, dusk fell.
At the canyon, rumbling sounds approached from afar.
"Damn it, those guys are so persistent. That guy won’t run away, right?"
Walt couldn’t help but speak, his face a bit grim.
Yesterday, he had been responsible for dealing with those following behind, but he hadn’t expected their strength, nearly suffering a huge loss. Though he resolved it later, it delayed him significantly.
"Probably not; through here, we might catch up."
Sedge Spencer’s face was also grim, but he shook his head and spoke.
During their conversation, both of them soon froze, as figures appeared ahead.
"Whoa!"
Horses neighed, and both knights’ groups stopped in their tracks.
Spencer and Walt exchanged glances, stunned for a moment.
Because standing ahead, leisurely, were Thor and his group.
"Lord Sedge, Lord Walt, you two are incredibly diligent."
A light chuckle rang out. Thor’s figure bore a faint smile, though ice-cold intent flashed in his eyes.
"Thor!"
Walt murmured, glancing around the canyon.
"Thor gives you a chance: pay me fifty thousand gold coins and hand over all territories the Dressrosa Family seized, and I can pretend what happened a month ago never occurred."
"You can leave safely as well."
Sedge Spencer spoke slowly.
"All of it?"
"Lord Sedge, your appetite is indeed big, but it seems you lack the power."
Thor chuckled lightly.
As his words fell.
"Boom!"
"Boom rumble!"
Mighty roars suddenly erupted; the horses grew restless, and behind them on the road, huge boulders suddenly rained down from above the canyon.
Amidst the booming echo, the retreat was completely sealed.
"It seems you’ve made an extremely foolish decision."
Sedge Spencer glanced at the sealed off road behind, but didn’t seem too concerned. His words carried a chill.
"Foolish, I don’t think so."
Thor chuckled softly.
The next moment, a vast surge of Life Source Power erupted forth.
Stepping forward, gripping the Knight’s Long Lance in hand, with his advance, layers of frost began spreading continuously, gradually freezing the surroundings.
"What is this?"
"An Earth Knight?"
"Alien Life Source Power."
Sedge Spencer and Walt’s faces changed drastically.
Yet, they had no time to think, as Thor suddenly moved, rushing straight at Sedge Spencer.
The moment he moved, behind Thor, Reine and Bryan also sprang into action.
Followed by the Knight Order led by Thor and the one led by Bryan.
Naturally, they reacted; the Knight Orders behind Sedge Spencer and Walt also moved.
Even four Earth Knights rushed directly toward the three of Thor.
Yet Thor was too fast; even as a Great Knight, he could contend against Earth Knights. Now as an Earth Knight, his prowess was unparalleled.
Not to mention compared to a Sky Knight, as Sky Knights can fly, but ordinary Earth Knights, even late-stage ones, couldn’t compare to him now.
Sedge Spencer barely managed to raise his hand instinctively.
The next moment.
"Boom!"
His figure was struck as if by a speeding Giant Dragon, his internal organs churned, as an intensely icy breath began to spread.
"Bang!"
"Ah, my hand!"
His figure crashed down, followed by Sedge Spencer’s terrified voice.
Because at that instant, his right hand clutching the Knight’s Long Lance was enveloped in layers of frost, within which a deathly aura spread, quickly robbing his arm of life.
"Not good!"
"Young Master Sedge!"
Two Earth Knights’ faces changed, rushing forward in haste.
However, Thor was faster.
"Pshh!"
Amidst Sedge Spencer’s screams, the Knight’s Long Lance pierced directly through his chest, and in a flash of frost, his scream was abruptly cut off, as Sedge Spencer turned into an ice sculpture.
The scene made the two Earth Knights halt instantly.
"The first one!"
Thor’s calm voice sounded.
The icy aura spread, and though it hadn’t yet reached the two Earth Knights, they felt its chilling bite to their core.
Their minds went blank.
Of course, they were dazed.
But Thor wasn’t; he moved once again.
He charged towards the two Earth Knights.
On the other side.
Reine similarly blasted Walt away with a single strike, severely injuring him. However, Reine didn’t dispatch him as quickly, as Walt’s two Earth Knights blocked him.
His advance was stalled.
Still, while he was held up.
Bryan, Steve, Pelos, Carter, along with Thor and Bryan’s Knight Order, faced no such obstruction.
A Knight Order led by an Earth Knight, facing off against two Knight Orders, it was nearly a one-sided slaughter.
Especially as Bryan’s strength had already reached mid-stage Earth Knight, making it even more impossible to be hindered.
