Somewhere within the uninhabited valleys of the Crimson Snow Sect's territory, inside a mountain grotto hidden under innumerable layers of restrictive arrays, a meeting was ongoing in full swing.

The participants of this meeting kept themselves covered to the point where nobody revealed an inch of skin or leaked the smallest trace of their qi and spiritual aura.

But they seemed well acquainted with each other, conversing excitedly at ease.

Documents, ledgers, jade slips, recording apparatus, and many more items were being passed around. The contents recorded within elicited many shocked exclamations, curses, and excited laughs.

An aged voice eventually rose above the commotion, attracting the attention of every participant in the meeting.

"All of us have worked hard for years, collecting every piece of evidence available against that tyrannical outsider controlling our beloved sect. Having gathered numerous clues and now connecting the dots, I believe we have a full, presentable story of lawless evil in our hands.

A few months ago, three disciples from the Salted Fish Mountain Peak encountered a fragmented hidden world, where they stumbled upon the ruins of the famous Holy Land of Laws.

All of us have heard of that Super Sect of law cultivators in the past. It hardly needs an introduction.

Decades ago, when the ruins of that Holy Land were explored by experts from all over the world for the first time, every sect was forced to sign a covenant: Neither the living, nor the dead, nor any sentient treasure shall be allowed into our world. Violators are to be punished by death!

Our Sect Master himself signed the agreement and participated in sealing all existing gateways and spatial portals leading to that scorched world fragment.

Coming back to the story at hand, those three disciples of our sect were ambushed by a monstrous creature hiding inside the ruins. According to them, that entity is most likely a spiritually mutilated abomination at the Soul Reformation realm, attempting to purify itself.

Although the disciples managed to escape in the end, their spiritual worlds were polluted through corrupting laws, turning them into slave-disciples of the Holy Land.

Sect Master Xuan Zi himself failed to undo those seals. We have eye-witnesses who can attest to it.

Although he guaranteed that those seals would cause no harm, the subsequent developments proved otherwise. These disciples were most likely controlled by the slave seals into doing the bidding of the monster hiding within the Holy Land.

First, they brought out an orthodox manual of law cultivation and sold it to the Sect. Then they started holding routine lecture sessions on law cultivation, inviting their fellow disciples and convincing them to step on the path of laws.

Isn't this a blatant attempt to sabotage the legacy of our own sect? All while reviving the legacy of law cultivation using our own disciples! 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

Further investigation revealed that the contents of their lectures are unusually sophisticated. It's impossible for rookie disciples to have any comprehension of many topics discussed during these lectures.

Clearly, someone powerful, someone deeply experienced in the path of laws, is endorsing them and supplying them with fresh lecture materials regularly. Who else could it be but that monster hiding inside the Holy Land?

Speaking of regular contact, a separate investigation revealed that one of the enslaved disciples has become a middleman for a resource exchange deal between the Crimson Snow Sect and a mysterious party.

This disciple was actually under investigation for embezzlement and fraudulent schemes last month. Do you know why he wasn't arrested and punished? The Sect Master suppressed the investigation and declared him immune from those charges!

But by tracking the teleported resources, we've learned that the location of the receiving party is within a fragmented spatial pocket, which is connected to several anchor points across our continent that were known to be gateways to the Holy Land of Laws!

Does this not prove that our Sect Master is supplying resources to that monstrous entity?

What does the Sect Master intend to do by cooperating with such a monster?

It is a common point of law in every orthodox sect that spiritually impure beings at the Soul Reformation realm must be killed on sight!

Yet instead of following the law, he's violating it blatantly, cultivating a seed of untold horrors and suffering that, if unleashed, shall spread across the mortal world like a plague!

My fellow Elders, we must not underestimate the severity of this crime. Historical records of similar monstrosities were written in blood and tears.

Just a century back, a spiritually corrupted young disciple of the Beasthaven Sect escaped from their prison and destroyed the souls of more than a hundred thousand mortals, hundreds of rogue cultivators, and a few of his own sect siblings.

Can you imagine the consequences if an old monster, strengthened further with precious resources, is allowed to go on a rampage of his own? This continent itself might not survive such a calamity!

My fellow Elders, some of you are still in denial, clinging to the hope that Xuan Zi wouldn't commit such an atrocious act. To you, I say, look at his past!

He was supposedly thrown away by the head of his clan for unforgivable crimes, exiled to our planet as a form of punishment.

His position as the Master of the Crimson Snow Sect was forced on him as a chain around his neck, so that he can never escape the public eyes and scheme for a secretive return.

Fifteen of our most powerful fellow Elders have gone missing over the years since Xuan Zi took over, making our sect's overall strength dwindle to its lowest point in history.

All fifteen Elders were staunch opposers of his authority, keeping him in check at every turn. What fool would deem their disappearance a coincidence?

A man capable of such decisive acts, such cruelty... Do you think he wouldn't unleash utter chaos in this world if it gave him an opportunity to return to his homeland? Or even an opportunity to escape his current status as a chained dog?

Of course, I understand your fear of retaliation if you stand against him now. I have heard all of your concerns surrounding our plan. I'm even aware that many of you have secretly been swayed by promises of all kinds.

So I will give you a final reason to determine where you should stand.

Do you guys know that ever since Xuan Zi has taken the role of our Sect Master, the inner court of Crimson Snow Sect has stopped accepting our disciples?

Hahahah! I know many of you think I'm lying! After all, every few years, our most talented disciples do travel on voidboats to the inner court.

But almost all of them are given the status of probationary disciples, and then they're slowly filtered out of the inner court through all sorts of excuses!

This means that the crimes Xuan Zi committed before his exile were so severe that any young disciple who has grown up under him shall never be accepted into the inner circles of Crimson Snow Sect! Our disciples have no future!

And that's not all!

Haven't you noticed that the resources being allocated to the outer court have been dwindling in terms of both quality and quantity? The vaults of our treasury are filled with materials that our ancestors considered trash!

Haven't you realized that the gap between visits by Inner Court Elders is growing longer? No upper realm cultivator comes here to discuss the dao anymore!

We've been isolated for good!

So, tell me, fellow Elders, are you uncertain of what choices you should make?

For our future, for our disciples' future, for the good of the outer court, and for the good of this realm, we must oust Sect Master Xuan Zi and have him imprisoned!!"
