Eventually, she found something in her memory, something he would want to get no matter what, so she spoke,

"In the Masked competition that happened to select the academy students, you were the one called Salazar, right?"

Axel tilted his head and thought, ’Why was she asking about that?’ but he answered honestly nonetheless, "Yes, I was the contestant named Salazar."

It wasn’t surprising for her to know this, actually, because she has the ability to sense through a very, very different way, and it is almost impossible to fool her senses. It was some kind of unique mana sense, and everyone’s personal mana has a unique signature to it. That which cannot be replicated or falsified by anything. So, it’s downright impossible to disguise oneself in front of her as someone else. But that begs another question.

"Were you there in the competition?" he asked.

"All the heirs of the higher echelons of the great kingdom was there in there in a vip room, seeing everything. Everyone was very, very much surprised by the show of strength by the one named Salazar, which is you," she revealed promptly.

Axel had an understanding look on his face. He had suspected it when Lucien was shocked to hear the fact that he was Salazar when the master forger, Gareth, had revealed it. So, that’s how the guy knew about it. He looked back towards the Valkyrie, who seemed to be looking at him with a subtle confusion, well, to be very honest. Her face barely changed any expression at all from the moment he entered, but he was somehow able to understand her almost non-existent change of expressions or the look in her eyes.

He asked her, "What?"

"Why are you not asking how I know that you were the one named Salazar?" she asked, genuinely curious.

He shrugged, "Lucien could have told you, or I heard every Valkyrie has their own unique set of abilities or skills, it could just be something like that, not like you will tell me if I ask about it?"

She nodded, "I naturally will not tell you, of course. But, surprisingly, Lucien knew about this."

Axel cursed under his breath, "Then why are you bringing it up?"

Axel hurriedly covered his mouth, realizing that he had actually said it aloud, as he looked towards the valkyrie. To his surprise, he thought he saw her smile very subtly. He blinked, and her face was just as expressionless as ever. He almost thought that he was mistaken, perhaps.

"So, let’s continue where we left off, the reason I was saying if you were Salazar or not, is because I wonder if you know who Green Dagger is?" she asked him.

The moment Axel heard that, his calm and tranquil ocean-like eyes raged in violent waves that could cause destruction comparable to the fury of Mother Nature herself. Axel looked at the divine beauty with a demanding rage, "You know who that bastard is? Don’t you? Tell me who it is?"

She gave a dark smile of her own, seeing an expected reaction, she stated,

"As long as you make me the best weapon you can create?"

Axel gritted his teeth as he slammed his fists on another table, the force of it was so great that the table almost broke, even though all the equipment was supposed to be unbreakable by anyone below a late 2nd phase being. The valkyrie duly noted that detail without a miss. Axel’s strength seems to be almost as great as Lucien’s, she remarked to herself.

Axel began to pace around to the engravement room, muttering some curses to himself and glaring at the valkyrie from time to time while the expression on the number one beauty’s face remained unbothered. eventually Axel came in front of her and said with some obvious unwillingness,

"Alright, I’ll make it, but there will be some very expensive metals and equipment necessary for it, and you will have to pay for it all. Not only that, you can never reveal that it was created by me, in any possible way."

She placed a hand on her chin, thinking to herself, considering the latter conditions... but Axel spoke up again to interrupt her thoughts midway.

"Oh, one more thing, you will also owe me one favor from you," stated Axel.

Her eyebrows almost arched with this new condition added by Axel, she almost visibly frowned, she said to him, shaking her head, "Sorry, but the last condition is unacceptable, I do not go back on my words, and a favor of mine has far heavier weight than your other conditions."

Axel snickered at her, "This time, you are the one who is thinking that my weapon will not be of the same weight as your favor. But let me tell you this, I will make you such a powerful weapon that you will be forced to think that one favor from me is not worth it, for the sword itself."

She looked at him in slight surprise and said, "What if you cannot deliver upon my expectations?"

Axel reassured her calmly, "Then the deal is off, at worst you will only lose a bit of the money in the process but I will lose too much time and effort, so my loss will be greater in the end, If I can’t deliver on my promise, then you won’t have to keep your promise as well. Nothing more and nothing less."

She nodded after some hesitation, "I suppose I can agree with that."

After that, she brought out a black parchment. It’s been a while since he had seen that paper, well, in truth, it was only the 2nd time for him seeing that, the first time was obviously when buying Neil Croft. They started to discuss then about the specific clauses or conditions on the paper.
