Chapter 240: The Yandere MILFs Are Obsessed with Me!!

A few minutes earlier

Dyana was seated at her desk, absentmindedly flipping through administrative documents. The stack of parchments in front of her should have demanded her full attention, but her mind kept wandering, always returning to the same obsession. She felt strangely confused, restless, and the cause of this unusual nervousness was none other than Kaiser.

Normally, it was she who maintained a certain distance, careful not to seem too eager. Yet this time, the situation had reversed without her expecting it.

It had now been several weeks since Kaiser had sought her out, and this prolonged absence was eating her up inside. She had even begun to wonder if he had simply grown tired of her, if the interest he had shown had faded as quickly as it had appeared.

Even more troubling, she now feared her own reaction. The last time she had gone to his mansion, she had caught three young girls, dressed provocatively, openly inviting him to an orgy. They were laughing loudly while pressing against him, playing with the buttons of his shirt. A blind rage had seized her on the spot... And the bodies were discovered the next morning.

"This idiot doesn’t even realize what he triggers in me," she murmured to herself while massaging her aching temples.

That impulsive act had triggered a thorough investigation by the Paladins, forcing her to exercise greater caution and stop trying to visit him.

Yet the feelings she harbored for Kaiser grew more toxic with each passing day. She desperately wanted him to come see her, to reassure her with a single glance, to finally break this deafening silence. She would have given anything to hear his voice, to have him tell her that it was all nonsense, that the only thing that mattered was their love for each other... But he never came.

As a professor, she should have, in principle, gone to class to teach her lesson. However, due to the rift caused by the instability of the Tenebris continent, fewer and fewer students showed up, preferring to handle urgent matters for their respective factions.

She stood up to approach the window, her gaze lost in the void, when suddenly a familiar silhouette caught her eye. It was Kaiser, crossing the courtyard with quick steps.

"I thought he was in Tenebris, but he’s here after all?" she thought, her heart suddenly beating faster.

Without taking the time to think further, she decided to go meet him. She rose with a determined movement, adjusted her black dress with a mechanical gesture, and quickly left the room.

...

Arriving in front of Kaiser’s majestic mansion, it was the old butler who greeted her on the steps.

"I greet Duchess Donoghan," he said, bowing halfway.

"I came to see student Kaiser," Dyana replied in a firm tone, without even bothering to return his greeting.

"I’m sorry, Madam Duchess, but Master Kaiser is a bit occupied at the moment. Perhaps you could come back later?" the butler replied, lowering his eyes.

Dyana narrowed her eyelids, a dangerous glint flashing through her gaze.

"Occupied with what, exactly?"

"...." The butler opened his mouth to answer but hesitated for a fraction of a second.

Dyana, with her sharpened instincts, immediately noticed the tension in the butler’s posture, the slight tremble in his fingers. The old man was overwhelmed by recent events. For some time now, his master Kaiser kept bringing women into the residence, leaving him to deal with the problems from those who came looking for him afterward.

He tried once more to stand in her way, but his voice lacked conviction.

"Really, Madam, the master is very busy, I cannot let you..." He tried to explain.

He didn’t have time to finish his sentence when Dyana frowned, a dangerous spark crossing her gaze. Without a word, she forced her way past, pushing the butler aside with an authoritative gesture. As a high-level mage, he posed no threat to her, but she wasn’t going to waste time on pointless discussions.

Barely had she entered the main hall when she sensed Kaiser’s familiar presence somewhere deep in the mansion.

However, another aura, as dense and powerful as her own, immediately drew her attention. Her blood boiled, and a wave of worry gripped her heart.

"A presence that strong in his home? What if it’s an assassin?" The thought flashed through her like lightning, rekindling the fear that something might happen to her beloved Kaiser.

Without waiting any longer, she quickened her pace down the long corridor, determined to get to the bottom of it.

Arriving in front of the waiting room door, she didn’t hesitate for a second. She pushed it so violently that it slammed against the wall with a dull thud. The scene that met her eyes froze her on the threshold...

"D-Dyana!?"

***

As a professor at Sky City Academy and a high-level mage, Dyana knew Seraphina perfectly well, but seeing her in Kaiser’s arms like that... she hadn’t expected it.

In an instant, her face darkened, her features hardened, and her expression became downright threatening.

’Shit...’

Kaiser, surprised by this sudden intrusion, turned sharply. His eyes widened for a moment before he regained his composure. He hadn’t expected Dyana to barge in without knocking.

The butler, who had finally caught up to her, now stood right behind her, face ashen. He knew full well that the real trouble was only just beginning, and he swallowed hard, staring at the floor as if hoping it would open up and swallow him.

"Can you explain what you’re doing?" Dyana asked in an icy voice. Her irises fixed on Seraphina with malicious intensity.

"Wait, I can explain..." Kaiser began, raising his hands in a placating gesture.

"No need." Dyana didn’t let him continue. She narrowed her eyes, her features hardening. "Deep down, you’re exactly like all those other bastards. I should have guessed sooner."

She raised her hand. Immediately, a magic circle lit up under her palm. The air vibrated, charged with mana, and metal spikes erupted from the floor with a shrill screech. They shot toward Kaiser.

’She’s going to kill me!?’

Kaiser didn’t have time to react. He remained frozen, pupils dilated in surprise.

But Seraphina had already moved. Her hand gripped Kaiser’s shoulder firmly and she yanked him back. In the same instant, she raised her hand forward.

A wall of ice rose between them and the projectiles. The metal spikes shattered against it with a dull crash, sending frozen shards flying everywhere.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Professor Donoghan?" Seraphina shouted.

"Huh?" Dyana blinked, snapping back to herself. Her chest rose and fell rapidly from anger.

She slowly lowered her hand. The magic circle faded. Silence returned to the room, broken only by the cracking of the ice beginning to fracture.

Dyana took a ragged breath. The reality of her action suddenly hit her. Attacking a student in a private residence. The academy would never tolerate such a breach of rules. If an investigation were opened, and the director... she risked far more than a simple reprimand.

She swallowed hard, then locked eyes with Seraphina. Her gaze had become empty, devoid of any expression. A void so deep it was disturbing.

"Please forgive my impulsive act," she articulated slowly. Her voice had lost all emotion. She retracted her hand, letting it fall to her side. "With that, I’ll take my leave."

Without waiting for a response, she turned on her heel. Her footsteps echoed on the parquet as she crossed the waiting room. She pushed the door and stepped into the corridor.

She had only gone about ten meters when a sharp sound rang out behind her.

"It was really a mistake... That bastard!"

She distinctly heard the smack of a palm against a cheek, it was probably Seraphina slapping him... She paused briefly but didn’t turn around.

What was happening in that room was none of her business.

She continued forward, her mind already elsewhere. She needed to go home. To think about how to handle what came next.

’Maybe I should consider resolving this animosity with Randal?’

But barely had the thought crossed her mind when her face darkened. She stopped dead in the middle of the corridor.

"Tss..." Her tongue clicked against her palate. Her jaws clenched so hard her teeth ground together.

"Fuck," she hissed between her teeth. She lifted her head, staring at the wall in front of her. "You really think I’m going to let you have Kaiser, you elf whore?"
