Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 115: Aura Farming
Kaiser reacted instantly.
He activated his <Eye of Perception>. His field of vision widened, his mind processed every movement with increased precision. He perceived the exact trajectory of the wave, calculated the pressure zones, then used a concentrated aura repulsion in front of him. The fire wave was deflected upward, dissipated without ever touching him directly.
"You see that?" Adrian murmured.
"He knew his repulsion wouldn’t completely stop the attack. He used it to alter its trajectory."
Isabella nodded.
"Exactly. And watch what comes next."
Kris leaped forward, his spear aimed straight at Kaiser, the weapon wrapped in a flow of compressed flames. The speed was such that the air screamed in its wake.
Kaiser did not retreat.
He extended his left hand and released maximum repulsion at the very last instant. The spear tip slowed, but did not stop. It pierced through his palm, tearing flesh and muscle. Blood sprayed.
"Idiot!" Kris roared.
"You really thought you could stop that barehanded!?"
But Kaiser smiled.
"Naaahhh... I’ll win."
He immediately activated <Aura Attraction>. The aura coiled around the spear still embedded in his hand and locked its movement. At the same time, he pivoted to the right, letting Kris’s fist pass mere centimeters from his face.
The wound in his hand was deep, but controlled. No bursting. No broken bones.
"He let himself get hurt on purpose..." Adrian murmured.
"To draw Kris into close range."
Isabella clenched her fists.
"And now..."
Kaiser yanked violently on the spear, using the attraction to spin it around his body. The motion was sharp, precise. The shaft traced a brutal arc.
*Slash.*
The tip tore across Kris’s chest. Blood sprayed. Kris staggered back screaming, his feet dragging across the ground.
The screens vibrated from the impact.
Adrian exhaled slowly.
"It’s a calculated counterattack. He sacrificed a minor wound to create a fatal opening."
Isabella nodded.
"In one word... he’s a show-off. He already had the means to beat Kris, even with a disadvantage in raw power."
Adrian gave a cold smile.
"You should recruit him, Isabella. This guy... this aura farmer... either we claim him or we eliminate him."
On the screen, notifications flashed in rapid succession.
[Many think you’re just an arrogant narcissist who humiliates others for the cameras’ pleasure.]
[Helia Von Stavenger thinks you’re just a show-off!]
[Your Cool-Headed skill has dropped! Rank C: 40% → 20%.]
[Kris thinks you’re just a bastard who farms aura!]
[A new rumor is spreading about you!]
[Ding! New skill acquired: Aura Farming!]
Kaiser’s eyes gleamed for an instant. He felt a surge of energy race through his veins. His aura was regenerating faster than expected. His stamina was returning.
"Tch..." he thought.
"I’d like to check the skill, but not now."
On the field, Kris had regained distance. He charged one final time, using every ounce of strength left in his lineage. He threw himself forward but Kaiser drove his own spear into Kris’s side.
Kris grunted, but Kaiser immediately grabbed him by the face and slammed him violently to the ground.
*BOOM*
The ground cracked.
Kris tried to get up. Too late.
Kris dodged a kick, pulled the spear from his side despite the pain, but Kaiser’s sole smashed into Kris’s face. The sound of a broken nose rang out clearly.
Without pause, a roundhouse kick struck the temple.
Kris collapsed.
"I... I..."
He tried to reach for his spear.
Kaiser crushed his hand under his boot.
"Nah. Nah. Nah."
He raised his foot and stomped down on his torso.
BOOM.
BOOM.
BOOM.
Each impact dug the ground a little deeper, forming a crater.
Kaiser finally stopped.
"Give up, Kris Donoghan."
But internally, Kaiser was troubled.
His aura was rising more and more. And something had clearly just changed.
The system message appeared in front of Kaiser the exact moment he raised his head.
[Aura Farming [S] (Active): The host converts in real time the attention, admiration, fear, and interest he generates in others into a source of physical energy: Aura. The more the host’s actions are perceived as nonchalant, stylish, and mastered, the more efficient the conversion, granting near-unlimited endurance. Any loss of "style" (visible effort, panic, clumsiness) instantly interrupts the energy flow.]
[Many spectators are watching you. Aura Farming activated.]
[Your level is approaching A+ rank Warrior.]
Kaiser smiled.
This skill could not have come at a better time. He could already feel the change. The aura was no longer just circulating in his muscles. It was renewing itself continuously.
He no longer needed to conserve.
"What the hell is that...?! How can he be so strong?!" Kris shouted.
Kaiser didn’t have time to answer.
A moment of inattention.
Kris had gripped his ankle with brutal force. His grip locked Kaiser’s movement, pinning his foot against the cracked stone of the arena.
*Fing.*
A sharp drop in temperature.
A freezing breath spread around them and a silhouette appeared in the whitish mist, as if carved by frost.
Julian Frostvine.
His fluid sword was already in motion.
He attacked without warning.
The first strike aimed for the neck. The second for the flank. The third for the thigh. The attacks chained together without pause, fast, clean, precise. The blade left trails of ice that froze the ground with every missed impact.
Twenty strikes in less than two seconds.
Kaiser did not retreat.
His Eye of Perception was active. Every micro-contraction of Julian’s muscles, every displacement of air caused by the blade, every trajectory variation was analyzed in real time.
He dodged by slightly tilting his torso. Then by turning his shoulder. Then by pivoting on his free heel. Still locked by Kris, but never touched.
Frost covered his boots, but did not reach his skin.
"Who are you?" Kaiser asked calmly.
Julian frowned and raised his sword for a downward strike.
He never got the chance.
Kaiser seized his wrist at the exact moment the blade came within range. He twisted Julian’s arm into a forced angle, released an aura pulse into his palm, and the grip on the sword broke.
The weapon slipped.
Kaiser caught it mid-air.
Without hesitation, he drove the blade into Julian’s left shoulder.
"AHHHHRR, SON OF A BITCH!"
The sword pierced flesh and stopped against bone. Julian screamed in pain.
"I’d say the opposite rather..."
Kaiser slapped him with the back of his hand.
Julian was thrown to the ground and slid several meters before crashing near Kris.
[Isabella thinks you’re becoming too violent.]
