Greed stroked his chin as he looked at the young man who was trying with all his strength to stand up. Looking around, he frowned: "You don't have it."Adjusting the monocle on his right eye, which glowed faintly, he completely withdrew his presence...

"Ugh..." The young man took a deep breath, his face completely red from the lack of oxygen in his lungs...

Greed smiled as he rolled a gold coin around his fingers. "Truly a great deal." Walking slowly, he approached the blue-eyed young man. "Tell me, how about you become my subordinate and leave that lunatic Lilith?"

The young man lifted his head. "What do you mean?"

"I can see it. You're poor to the bone. You know, with me as your patron—or whatever you want to call it—you can have all the money in the world. With money, everything is much easier. You can have castles, subordinates, and above all, all the women in the demon world. Money can do anything—especially if it's my money."Slowly extending the gold coin: "You just have to take this little coin."

Greed, the richest demon in hell, the human world, and the celestial realm. There is nothing and no one in the world that comes close to his wealth. Controlling 60% of the gold in both hell and the human world, gold is the most commercially valuable currency... and he owns almost all of it.

Arthur looked at the small gold coin in Greed's hand. He could feel it—as soon as his fingers touched that coin, his soul would be sold to Greed. He would basically become his slave for all eternity. After all, greed is what drives both humanity and demons to despair..."No, thanks." Shaking his head, he stepped back a little... Even though the surrounding presence had vanished completely, the space around Greed still warped and distorted...

"So, you noticed, huh..." He smiled as he closed the hand holding the gold coin, which vanished. "Your loss." He shrugged indifferently.

"He didn't even try to hide it…" Cursing to myself, my head was spinning. What is the demon of Greed doing in the human world? What the hell is going on... I clenched my teeth.

Greed looked outside. "They've begun," he murmured to himself, then looked at me again."Seeing the blue flame again was quite the surprise. I can't believe Lilith kept it hidden from me all these years."He adjusted his monocle, smiling with amusement."Are you sure you don't want to be my subordinate? A few months ago, I acquired a new toy—err, a new subordinate. He was a human boy... his greed was astonishing, even for me. All just to save his mother. Now they're both together. Isn't it wonderful?" He smiled proudly.

"I'm sure it's not in a good way…"Making contracts with the sins was the worst way to lose your soul...

"Well, aside from becoming demons, there's nothing wrong with it."He fell silent for a moment. "Though he's trying to do something against the Empire, but that's not my problem!"

Then, Greed licked his lips."Tell me, where is the fragment of the divine rune?" he asked...

"Why are you looking for it?" Arthur asked, incredulous.

"You think I'm just going to tell you like that? We can make a trade, what do you say?"Greed began pulling out a paper that looked like a contract...

"No, I'm fine like this." Damn it, I at least had to ask...

Greed tore the paper, which vanished into the air."So, are you going to tell me?"

"I have it with me."

"No, you're lying."Greed stroked his monocle."I can see it. I know you don't have the fragment with you."

"Tsk," Arthur clicked his tongue...

"Then that leaves the Seraph of Speech and Ice."His gaze turned to the door, which slowly opened.Out came Elizabeth. She wore clear glasses and entered the room with confidence. Her gaze turned to Arthur before looking at Greed."It's a pleasure to see you again!" Elizabeth made a small bow...

"Oh! Seraph of Speech, the pleasure is mine!"Greed also gave a small bow.

The two stared at each other with smiles on their lips. They looked like old friends who hadn't seen each other in years...

"What the hell is going on?" Arthur's eyes widened...

"I'm guessing you're here because of the fragment, right?"Elizabeth crossed her arms with a smile...

"Exactly! Can you tell me where it is?"Greed smiled back.

"I can tell you, but!" Elizabeth raised a finger. "Don't attack the students."

"You noticed too, huh?" Greed snapped his fingers."Done. Now tell me."

"It's with Emilia," Elizabeth said sincerely.

Greed stroked his monocle, and his eyes gleamed."I see," he nodded, turning his gaze outward...

Elizabeth looked at Arthur."Why didn't you take it? You had a good chance."Elizabeth pointed at Arthur, who was silent...

"Hey!" Arthur looked at her like he wanted to kill her...

"Are you crazy?"However, Greed shook his head."Who in all three worlds wants to deal with that compulsive lunatic? She's too much of a hassle."Greed shook his hands, saying it was a complete waste of time and not worth the effort—not fit for a merchant.

"You're right, she's a complete pain," Elizabeth agreed, nodding.Lilith is the craziest being in existence... she crossed her arms and pouted...

Greed stared at her for a few seconds."You're not going to let me go that easily, are you?"

"You're right about that too! Emilia is already dealing with two on her own. If I let you go just like that, she's going to be really mad at me. She's terrifying! How about you leave right now and we'll all be happy?"Elizabeth smiled, saying that way everyone would win without the need to fight.

Greed pursed his lips."It's true... but a merchant gains nothing if he doesn't take risks. You know how I am," he said as he stroked his monocle and exited through the window...

"Ugh..." Elizabeth let out a groan of defeat and looked at Arthur with teary eyes, as if asking for help...

Arthur looked at her with a dark expression and silently left the room...

Elizabeth sighed to herself and exited through the window."You can't destroy the beastly clearings," she said as she adjusted her glasses.Snapping her fingers, the space groaned and distorted completely, millions of threads forming a dome around them...

Greed remained silent, opening his palm. The same gold coin appeared in his hand...

His golden eyes gleamed with darkness..."Five million in gold."
