Yan Ting took it as her answer and his thin lips curled into a satisfied smile.

He felt tired too, but after checking the time, he realized he only had a little over an hour to rest before work.

In this one hour, he didn’t want to think about anything else—he just wanted to hold the woman he cherished most and get some good sleep.

When Lin Banxia woke up, the large bed had only her left on it.

"Where’s Yan Ting?" Lin Banxia clearly remembered falling asleep in his arms—how had she woken up to find him gone?

The sensations within her body told her that everything earlier had been real, not a dream.

She ran to the bathroom, planning to take a shower. In the mirror, she found her skin covered in the marks he’d left.
