"It was Lin Banxia. Her car hit my taillight. I warned her to stop bothering you and He Yanting’s relationship." Mu Jiyang said through gritted teeth.
"Really? Thank you so much, cousin! Where did you run into her?" Chu Tingting’s voice lit up with joy; being cared for felt wonderful.
"Over by the university district. Seriously, what a freak coincidence, getting hit by her car." Mu Jiyang thought to himself that this kind of happenstance best not repeat.
"Cousin, what are you doing near the university district?" Chu Tingting asked curiously.
Mu Jiyang’s tone finally softened, "My grandmother has been ill and hospitalized recently. She wanted me to look for news about my sister in that area. You know, she’s regretted abandoning her for over twenty years."
