Chapter 331: Chapter 332: Needs Punishment

Lin Banxia’s mind went completely blank; her entire body froze. Her petite hands, which had been clutching her dress tightly, suddenly reached out and grasped his collar.

The kiss was wild, tinged with punishment. He bit her—though not too hard, it was enough for her to feel the pain.

She let out a soft whimper; it did hurt. Her lips parted instinctively, and she retaliated by biting his lip fiercely. This time, the taste of blood, metallic and sweet, lingered on both of their tongues.

Yan Ting paused briefly, then pulled away from her lips. He saw her small mouth, now swollen from the kiss, looking intensely alluring.

"If you keep this up, I won’t hold back." Lin Banxia knew that her bite must have drawn blood. Traces of it still clung to his thin lips. His mood carried a wild and dangerous edge now.

"Are you a little puppy? Do you like biting people?" Despite the fact that he was bleeding, Yan Ting wasn’t angry at all. Instead, he teased her playfully. Then his voice grew darker: "What else do you like to bite? There are other places on me... feel free to explore." 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Lin Banxia’s mind went blank, and she was thoroughly exasperated. This bastard—was this really the time to talk about this?

"Why don’t you hurry upstairs and keep the Chu Family’s eldest daughter company? I’m afraid you’ll keep her waiting too long." Lin Banxia deliberately ignored his suggestive comments and retorted icily.

Yan Ting’s fingers traced her delicate face with fascination, lingering lightly: "I don’t plan on going up."

"What?"

"I’ll go home with you," Yan Ting replied, his tone still deep, carrying a hint of indulgence towards her.

"Are you crazy? Isn’t this banquet hosted by your Huo Family? You’re leaving Chu Tingting behind—aren’t you afraid your grandfather will hold you accountable?" Lin Banxia’s chest tightened abruptly. This man exuded a tenderness she knew all too well, the kind she was powerless to resist. She hated herself for not being colder, for even worrying he’d get in trouble with his grandfather.

"I’m afraid you might really be lured away by Leng Weichen. I need to keep an eye on you," Yan Ting’s voice carried a rare sincerity, but to Lin Banxia, it sounded absurdly amusing.

"Do you think I’m a three-year-old who can be easily led astray?" she retorted with a lowered voice, tinged with sarcasm.

"Wearing a five-billion-dollar necklace—how could I not worry?" Yan Ting countered sarcastically, mocking her for wearing an item she shouldn’t have.

Lin Banxia’s gaze turned dazed, but before she could react, his scorching palm landed on her exposed shoulder, moving back and forth in a slow caress. "This dress—did he give it to you? You seem to enjoy wearing it," he murmured.

Lin Banxia froze again, stunned. Before she could protest, his fingers reached behind her, heading for the zipper. Heaven help her—he was actually unzipping her dress.

"Yan Ting, stop!" Lin Banxia was on the verge of panic.

But Yan Ting’s fingers didn’t relent. The zipper was partially undone, and the dress fell open slightly. Then his thin lips descended on her, kissing... her alabaster skin.

Lin Banxia felt as though every cell in her body had been frozen. She stared blankly, unable to move. Yet his lips were so fiery that wherever they touched, they ignited shivers deep within her, making her want to die from embarrassment.

"Get off... don’t treat me like this!" Lin Banxia couldn’t say where she found the strength, but she shoved him away with all her might. Quickly, she grabbed a jacket and draped it over herself. "Yan Ting, I’m warning you—if you humiliate me again, we’re done for life."

Using a lifetime to threaten him—now that was ruthless.

The dark and frenzied look in Yan Ting’s eyes slowly faded. He himself didn’t know what had come over him earlier. It was as if he’d been possessed. Seeing her in such a tantalizing dress—a dress gifted by another man—had sparked a primal need to claim her then and there.
