Now landing right on top of the Island Orca, Azrael’s maniacal smile turns wider as the sword in his hand starts growing in size, the violent, murderous aura in the surrounding seemingly gathering towards him with more vigor than before as it materializes into a larger sword with the Evil Fang Sword at its core, forming a shape not too different to the great sword he uses to fly previously.

Taking in a deep, long breath as he raises the now massive, two meter long sword in his hand, the young man lets out a soft grunt as he swung the heavy weapon down on the scales that is troubling him previously, the opponent no longer using its invisible attacks out of fear of hitting itself as well, having nothing that it can do than submerge in the depths of the ocean in the hopes of dislodging the small figure now clinging on its back.

As the young man swings his sword however though, the surging crimson aura in the surroundings, partnered with the pitch-black aura that swirls around with it, starts dancing to the movement of the sword, following its trajectory as it hits the tough armor barring any attack from landing on the massive monster, this one introducing a change in the current status of the fight.

With the night black sword hitting the massive monster, the scales protecting its insides starts forming crack on them, not only from the spot directly hit by the great sword but also everything in the vicinity as well, the cracks large enough that one can see what is deep beneath them, making the young man smile knowing that it isn’t the end of the effects of his attack.

And as if an aftershock coming once the main earthquake is finished, the tough, near impenetrable scales starts turning into dust a few moments later, exploding into nothing in the air exposing the softer flesh of the massive monster now a few meters into the water, still hoping that the human right on its back lets himself go in order to take in air.

’I just need to dive in deeper, there’s no way that this human is able to endure the pressure in the depths of this great ocean!!’ the Island Orca thought to itself with panic in its voice, said panic being even more apparent with the fact that he no longer addresses himself as ’this great one’, along with the fact that he no longer talks anymore, merely focusing on dealing with the situation at hand.

Unfortunately for this plan though, the massive monstrosity failed to consider something, whether this young man can breathe under water or not, and later, this boss monster of the Ethereal Tower’s second floor will come to realize this mistake in a horrendous way.

While it is sure that the young man is incapable of breathing under water, this doesn’t mean that he is not capable of combat under water, and that is exactly what he is doing, the smile on his face being less apparent as he feels like the amount of light reaching the place he is currently on is getting smaller and smaller, a sign that he needs to get out of this place as soon as possible.

’I don’t think I can withstand the pressure even with the current advancement of my Absolute Regeneration...’ he thought to himself as he already starts to feel the pressure of the depth of the ocean, making him realize that even with the almost perfect immortality that his ability grants him, there are still nasty ways that people of the lower floor can do to incapacitate him completely and prevent him from ascending ever again.

’Let’s try ending this as soon as possible...’ Azrael added as he pulled out the weapon plunged beneath some depth on the Island Orca’s flesh, gritting his teeth as he uses his entire body to swing the sword once again, the weight of the water bearing down on his body making it so that the force generated by his attack is way lesser than what it could’ve been above the water.

This doesn’t affect his attack that much though as given all the augmentations he uses in order to strengthen the attack, even just letting his sword fall onto the Island Orca’s flesh is more than enough for him to deal massive damage on it, this being proven with the next events unfolding.

With the edge of the sword cutting through the Island Orca’s exposed flesh, the monster lets out an anguished roar as it felt like it was stabbed by a massive spear that comes on one side of its body and pierces through all the way to the other side, its body now immobile despite its hardest struggles, and there’s nothing that it can do but fall deeper and deeper into the darkness of the ocean, the weight of its body making it so that this process happens even faster.

Given that the sword is now coated with all sorts of skills that is enough to take down any normal ascender, it is to no surprise that the Island Orca feels like this, Azrael’s poisonous blood now reaching deeper into the monster’s body making it so that it is far less capable of defending itself from all the other dangerous skills that the young man has, including the most terrifying Fog of Decay, draining the life force of the boss monster helplessly waiting for its death, plunging on the ocean floor.

The young man fighting this gigantic monster doesn’t have any intention of letting it go though, the smile on his face apparent as he felt like it is finally time to deal with this monster properly, prompting him to surge all his intent covering the Island Orca before he rushes for the surface, his head aching given the immense intent required in order to lift the Island Orca back into the surface once again, his gritted teeth and bleeding orifices a testament to the weight of the task.
