While the description might be a bit vague and too simple for a unique skill, Azrael felt like this is not your average skill at all, and given the great range of this skill, he thought that this is practically a skill similar to Domain of Absorption, only, while the weapon skill focuses on offensive capabilities, this skill focuses more on suppression and restraining the enemies.

Now reading through this unique passive skill, Azrael couldn’t help but shake his head as he felt like there’s no longer a need of this especially since he already has the Absolute Regeneration ability, however, reading the latter part of the skill’s description, he couldn’t help but smile as he starts thinking of ways that he can use this skill to earn money.

’Perhaps it’s time for me to learn some high-level alchemy as well’ he added in his mind before he smiles, thinking of how much money he can earn by producing antidote to poisons that poses challenge to ascenders on each floor, something that is way common than what a lot of people would initially assume.

[Creates a black fog that causes any creature other than the ones exempted by the skill’s caster to start decaying when entering it, the decay is natural and has no solution, and is not possible to dispel unless the skill’s caster themselves decides to turn the skill off.]

[Effects: Within a thirty-meter radius, causes any creature deemed by the skill caster as hostile to lose life force, ranging from one in ten thousand to one in a hundred, depending on their proximity to the skill caster; the closer the target is, the higher the rate of decay they are experiencing. The effects can be resisted by ascenders who have Advance Mana or Body Mastery. The effect and range of this skill will improve with the increase of the strength of the caster.]

[Life Force Drain (Active)]

[Works in tandem with the skill: Fog of Decay. Absorbs all the vitality corrupted by the Fog of Decay skill, the rate depending on the difference between the strength of the skill caster and their target.]

[Effects: Within a thirty-meter radius, absorbs all the corrupted life force stolen by the skill: Fog of Decay from the targets, filtering this life force and improving the skill caster’s strength. The rate of absorption, as well as filtering, increases with the increase of the skill caster’s strength.]

Looking at these two new active skills that works in tandem, Azrael smiles as he felt like with all these skills, he’s just getting more and more like an unkillable thing, not really an immortal since he is still vulnerable to any sort of attack but still, his recovery rate is just getting better and better as time goes on.
