Evolving My Mythic Legion With A Legendary Skill-Chapter 124: The Tragedy
[Would you like to learn the Entropic Essence Transformation Method?]
"Yes!" Neil spoke, clearing his mind. His cores were brimming with Essence.
He was really curious, aside from the future needs, what changes this manual would bring him.
As soon as he broke the seal, the book buzzed and then faded away as information began to seep into his mind.
Information on the way he needed to absorb energy, how to transform it, how to channel it.
[You have comprehended the Transformation Method!]
"Hmm so I can even use cold and hot attacks with this, this would complement my Blades pretty well."
He mumbled, but it was a very slow and long process.
People spent years just transforming their essence completely.
Only very very few had managed to do it in a little over a year.
"Let’s start then, I wonder how long it will take me though." Neil was still very curious about this.
He closed his eyes as the essence in the air was stirred.
It began to twist and flow strangely, getting pulled into Neil’s body with great force.
The left side of his body started to emit extreme cold while the right emitted extreme heat, forming two strangely coexisting semi spheres.
Bluish energy revolved around his left side, entering through his pores and passing through his cores.
At the same time reddish energy followed the same pattern, neither of the energies opposing each other.
Inside Neil’s body, the energy flowed in the exact pattern he learned. It was crazily getting absorbed by his cores, while releasing out normal essence.
The process was too complex to understand or explain, it seemed to be integrating with every organ, bone and cell of his body.
Neil just focused on how it was mentioned in the manual.
Neil followed the process for 30%, and then paused.
"Hmm that was completely different from my expectations. At least it’s not painful though it is painfully slow." Neil sighed.
At this rate even for him, it would take nearly a year.
The rewards given should be suitable for him right? Or as a phantom did he need something different? He could only speculate.
It’s not like a phantom would help him.
He would die instantly if he ended up meeting one.
Neil got up and decided to continue his training after dinner.
"After absorbing that phantom’s body, the changes in my body are very evident. The cold, ice, poison, charm and more, I have developed high defence against them all.
Even my healing factor is too great, even the pain tolerance has increased now." Neil mumbled. His body had undergone great changes back in the sea.
Even Cinthia, who is at the 5th Origin, couldn’t kill Neil with her poison, it truly shocked her.
Neil also practiced using different phases of his phantom form, and was getting a lot better.
"I am progressing nicely, but what about getting out of here sigh..."
He walked out of the building and saw a surprising sight.
The domain was stopped for a short break, as all the siege golems and cloud vultures returned to eat.
The people in the settlement still had enough.
Not far away from the domain, Neil saw hundreds of wooden creatures rising from the ground.
Each possessing strength in the 2nd Origin, containing a little of Ileana’s energy.
The healer was controlling all the puppets, as she was regaining her skills from her past life, her battle prowess was increasing quickly.
"Eli, great job!" he praised, truly impressed by her.
"Hehe thank you hubby, I have awakened this skill. Though it is still far from my past life, as a very talented princess, I had quite the skills before." She spoke, laughing sweetly.
"Hmm let’s eat for now, you must be tired." He spoke, taking her hands.
Thanks to her and the other subjects, Neil didn’t need to worry about absolutely anything, he could just focus on his training.
Ileana looked over the field and handled any sort of problem. As Neil’s woman she had higher authority.
But she wasn’t the type to order others around, they were all more like family, and even before that they all respected her as a healer.
So everyone listened to her when some situation happened and Neil wasn’t around.
"Yes, I am so hungry... for you." She spoke, standing over her tiptoes and giving him a passionate kiss.
Every night, she was thoroughly exhausted by him, yet this was the time she awaited the most.
"Haha let’s eat first." Neil chuckled, as their lips parted.
She was so clingy and cute, it really made him fall for her deeper.
The two returned to the domain and ate dinner with the others, the cost of each meal for all the subjects was pretty high.
But not much for Neil who still had millions of shards.
After eating they strolled around and then rolled around on the bed, having another wild night.
Just like that day after day passed, Neil’s routine was crazily busy.
Most of the time of the day was spent with Cinthia, he was getting better and better, his growth shocking even to the snake queen.
Then there was also transformation of essence, he could do it even while walking or fighting, but it was best done while meditating, so he gave some time to it as well.
Time with Ileana, subjects, friends and that was all.
They continued the journey without any hurdles, and the citadel was getting closer and closer.
It was giving off such a negative vibe, but there was no other choice, only near the bars could the exit be.
And just like that, over a month had passed, rather peacefully.
Although Neil didn’t get any more gene potions, his fighting prowess had already increased by a lot.
Cinthia advised him to not participate in the clash battles for now, so he followed her advice.
And even the previous time he participated for the elemental bow, with his current strength, he could evolve it again easily.
As for the armor, it was damaged too badly in the battle against the two beasts, he had handed it to Mob in the workshop.
But repairing the armor was taking too long even with the evolved workshop.
It was just another usual day, Neil was battling against Cinthia, his strikes completely unpredictable, even keeping the queen on alert at all times.
If it wasn’t for her higher agility, he really might have succeeded in hitting her.
His strength was already comparable to those in the 4th Origin.
Before when Neil was at the 1st or 2nd Origin, she had believed that since the difference between each class is so little, that’s why he could fight those stronger than him.
But now, at the 3rd Origin, where even the difference between each class is so massive, he could fight across ranks.
It was just too unbelievable and shocking, though if she ever were to know how much Neil was holding back, the snake queen would start questioning her existence.
"Hmm not bad..." Cinthia nodded as she struck out her palm but it only passed through empty air.
Neil’s body breaking into countless droplets, he had become so fluid at it now.
One drop of fluid quickly enlarged and transformed into him as he counter attacked.
But just then a message popped into his mind.
"Master there is trouble back in the settlement, just now they have found a dead body!" Nemo reported solemnly.
