"So it started, huh," Victor mumbled as he read the last message in the global chat

Even before his regression, this event was the trigger that changed the shape of the world. After the players had gained the ability to log out of the game, they noticed not only that they had become superhumanly stronger, but also that they could use abilities from the game in the real world and even bring out items from the game into reality.
"I should modify my appearance before I return," Victor mumbled as he opened the modification tab.
He chose an appearance similar to his real life. He was already good-looking with short silver hair and blue eyes; this time he increased the length of his hair to medium and made himself much more handsome.

"Yes," Victor said, and white light shone on his body as his appearance changed.
He then walked for some time before he looked at a small nearby puddle and saw his reflection, nodding several times in satisfaction.
Vroom!
Victor’s head snapped toward the direction of the sound and he became vigilant when he saw a convoy of what seemed to be military vehicles approaching him.
Then the vehicles stopped and a row of soldiers descended. Some were carrying what looked like modern rifles while swords hung at their sides. They all pointed their rifles at him.
"Who are you... what are you doing near the Silvernum territory?" one of the soldiers shouted.
Before Victor could even say anything, a middle-aged man wearing a butler’s uniform descended from the vehicle. His eyes widened in disbelief when he looked at Victor, and then he shouted.
"Young Master Victor!" the butler’s shout startled the guards, and when they looked carefully and upon recognizing him, their eyes nearly bulged out. They immediately lowered their guns, knelt, and said, "Young Lord Victor."
"Young Master Victor, where have you been for the past week? We searched everywhere but could not find you," the butler said as he stopped in front of Victor with a flushed face.
"Edward, it’s been a while," Victor said calmly as he looked at the old man.
From his memories, he knew this was the butler who had taken care of him after his parents had died, and he was like a second father to him.
Seeing Victor’s calm and almost mature expression, Edward was surprised and said, "You seem to have grown a bit, Young Master."
Victor did not say anything but looked at the new notifications which appeared before him.

"SSS Rank..." Victor sucked in a cold breath as he saw the rank of the technique. From his knowledge, SSS Rank was the highest rank technique that could exist, yet now he had obtained one so easily, which made him ecstatic. He felt that after his regression, some God of Luck must have favored him.
Victor then used the skill on Edward.

"I see, so that’s how fate information works," Victor mumbled as he saw an invisible golden thread above Edward’s head. "Tier 3, not bad."
"Young Master Victor, can you tell me what happened and where you were?" Edward asked with concern.
"Hmm, I was kidnapped by the Black Church," Victor said casually, but the guards and Edward who heard his words were dumbstruck.
"What? Black Church? How audacious!" Edward was first shocked and then trembled with rage, and Victor could also feel a trace of killing intent emanating from him.
After some time, Edward snapped out of his anger and looked around, noticing that the soldiers were on their knees under his killing intent. He then turned to look at Victor, worried that he might be affected by the killing intent, but to his surprise there was not a single change on his face

"Looks like he really changed, that’s good," Edward thought. In Edward’s eyes, if it had been the past Victor, he would already be like the soldiers—trembling in fear—so he was very pleased and happy seeing Victor’s improvement.
Victor did not pay attention to him but looked at the soldiers with a frown and clicked his tongue.
"Hah, looks like I need to improve the army. No wonder it’s in decline."
"Young Master Victor, if I may ask, how did you escape?" Edward asked curiously.
"Oh, I awakened a Warlock Bloodline," Victor said and then pointed his finger at a nearby boulder.
Under Edward’s shocked eyes, a black bullet made of lightning left his finger and struck the boulder, which shattered upon impact.
"Holy... this is not a normal Lightning Bloodline... a mutation!" Edward’s body trembled in excitement and then he turned to look at Victor as if he were some kind of treasure, which made him uncomfortable. ’Hah, I would like to see the faces of those who are always saying the Silvernum Barony will vanish. I can already see it rise, or he might even rival the Ducal Houses.’
Well, it was a normal reaction. Even a Warlock Bloodline was rare; no one in the Silvernum Barony had awakened such a powerful bloodline like Lightning, which was considered one of the strongest in terms of offense, and Victor’s one was mutated. Mutated simply meant it was different from the regular ones with additional effects like increased power or other abilities
.
"Edward, stop staring at me. Let’s go," Victor said as he walked toward the vehicle.
Victor touched one of the vehicles and sighed. ’It looks tough, but it’s extremely fragile.’
When Victor first saw the vehicles, he knew they resembled the top military vehicles similar to those back in the real world. Even though they were top-notch back on Earth, here in the game these vehicles could easily be torn apart by monsters and magical cold weapons.
’I will use the shop to buy blueprints to build new ones infused with magic and technology,’ Victor thought as he entered the vehicle with Edward following closely behind.
"So, I suppose the territory situation is very bad, Edward," Victor asked Edward, and Edward’s joyful expression immediately turned ugly.
"Yes, many soldiers and servants and even residents left the territory thinking you died, and even some neighboring lords started to get ideas," Edward said.
"Hmm, we will deal with these matters after a few days," Victor said, and Edward nodded.
Victor then opened the player forum, which was only available to players, and saw a headline that was trending and already had over a billion clicks.
