Akun nodded, a determined glint in his eyes. "Alright, everyone, we should be on our way."

"Alright," his companions replied in unison, their voices echoing softly in the narrow alley.

With a confident stride, Akun took the lead, gesturing for the others to follow. "Now, you all should follow me," he commanded, "it would be best to open the rift where there are fewer prying eyes."

Silently, they made their way down the dimly lit alley, the shadows of the buildings looming over them. As they passed by, a child on the street pointed towards them.

"Mommy, look! All these people are going into that dark place," the child whispered, his voice tinged with curiosity.

"Hush now," the woman replied, her voice filled with urgency. "We didn't see anything. We should hurry along." With a gentle tug, she pulled her son away, casting one last wary glance at the group disappearing into the shadows.

"Alright, that's should be far enough," Akun declared, coming to a stop and stretching his arms out before him.

With a deep breath, he muttered under his breath, "Open, rift." His voice echoed through the air, vibrating with power as if it echoed through the very fabric of reality itself.

A shimmering distortion appeared before them, like a rippling tear in the air. The edges of the portal rippled with faint tendrils of light, casting a soft glow on the surrounding alleyway.

Akun turned to his companions with a reassuring smile. "Alright, everyone, step through."

Genreia stepped forward first, her expression a mixture of excitement and apprehension. "Here goes nothing," she muttered, taking a deep breath before stepping through the portal.

One by one, the rest of the party followed suit, disappearing into the swirling vortex until only Akun remained. He cast one last glance around the alley, ensuring they hadn't drawn any unwanted attention, before stepping through the rift himself.

As the party stepped through the rift, they found themselves in another dimly lit alley, the sound of distant chatter and bustling streets drifting through the air.

Chrono Nexus glanced around, her eyes widening with curiosity. "Well, would you look at that? It actually worked," she remarked, a hint of amazement in her voice.

Akun closed his eyes momentarily, focusing his thoughts on the system. "System, display the map," he commanded mentally.

A translucent blue system window materialized before him, hovering in the air and projecting a detailed map of the royal capital. The party's current location was marked with a blue dot, confirming their arrival.

Akun then spoke in a calm commanding tone. "We're here," he announced.

As they emerged from the narrow confines of the alley, the party was greeted by the vibrant chaos of the bustling streets. The air was thick with the scent of spices and the sound of merchants haggling filled their ears.

Akun led the way, weaving through the throngs of people and stalls lining the crowded streets. Armored guards patrolled the area, their imposing figures a stark contrast to the colorful chaos around them.

"Wow, there are so many people," Azara remarked, her voice barely audible over the din of the crowd.

Chrono Nexus nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the bustling scene. "It's the tournament," she explained. "Warriors from all over gather here, and merchants would seize the opportunity to make huge profits."

Mellin's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the crowded streets. "It's incredible," she breathed, her excitement palpable.

Kaldarix, normally reserved, couldn't help but gape at the array of stalls and vendors. "Look at all the different wares," he exclaimed, pointing excitedly at a display of ornate weapons.

Hestria's gaze flitted from one stall to another, her curiosity piqued by the exotic items on offer. "I've never seen so many peculiar things," she remarked, her eyes alight with wonder.

Genreia, always pragmatic, observed the bustling scene with a hint of skepticism. "It's impressive, but it also seems chaotic," she noted, her brow furrowing slightly as she surveyed the crowded streets.

Akun's voice cut through the bustling noise of the street, commanding attention. "I guess this is where we split up," he announced, his gaze sweeping over the group. "Mellin, I'm sure you're familiar with the layout of the capital, so you should take the others to the arena. Hestria and Chrono Nexus, as I said earlier, both of you should go find an inn."

Mellin nodded eagerly, "Got it, Master. Follow me, everyone," she said, her voice tinged with confidence as he gestured for the others to follow.

Hestria's gaze flicked between Akun and Chrono Nexus, a hint of concern creasing her brow. "Um, are you sure we'll be okay on our own?" she ventured, her tone uncertain, not only was she unfamiliar with the layout of the capital, she didn't know Chrono Nexus was the godess of knowledge and Time.

She thought she was just another powerful woman, and thought both of them could get lost in such a massive crowd of people.

Chrono Nexus flashed Hestria a reassuring smile, her confidence not fading. "Don't worry, Hestria. We'll be fine. Let's go find that inn," she reassured, her tone calm and reassuring.

Genreia, however, couldn't hide her curiosity. "But Master, what will you be doing then?" she questioned, her eyes fixed on Akun, searching for answers.

Akun's lips curved into a sly smile as he leaned in closer to Genreia. "Well... I and Kaldarix will be hunting for the person who will be giving up their spot," he whispered, his voice low yet filled with a slight hint of excitement.

Seeing Akun like this, Chrono Nexus couldn't help but chuckle slightly. She then turned towards him and leaned in close as she asked, "Master, are you sure you won't be needing my help to find that someone in this massive crowd? Hmm?" she said, trying to sound persuasive.

Akun then said, "As I'm sure I told you before, I would prefer it if you didn't tell me anything that will spoil this little outing of mine. What's an adventure without a bit of struggle and surprises?" He said in a low commanding tone, yet his eyes seemed to hold a slight hint of excitement.
